Roryx
Roryx's eyes go wide at the pile of amassed wealth, but remains in place.
He then attempts to activate what seems to be like a lift, to carry him back up, and join the others.
If he manages:
"There is a veritable treasure horde down there - gold, gems, weapons, armor - you name it" - he informs his companions.
Ohrmizd
Realizing Roryx has fallen through the new hole in the ground, Ohrmizd is about to jump after his friend when he returns up "Oh man, you are going to give me a heart attack. Let us know first next time!"
"Treasure you say?" Ohrmizd looks down with renewed interest "Let's have a look before having a rest"
Unless the group prefers to rest first, Ohrmizd goes back down with Roryx to examine the found wealth.

When Roryx is lost in a bottomless hole, starts yelling with Ohrmizd.
"I TOLD YOU SO! You and your stupid curiousity. Now we lost Roryx to it.!"
"I hope he can figure out how to turn that thing around and come back here... I don't see jumping after it as any way practical."
After, when Roryx returns
"Are you sure you know how to activate this platform that lifts, and can you do so with a all of us aboard? I should not want to discover the magic has run out while we are at the bottom of the hole. Also, I am suspicious about this vast treasure. We heard no rumours of such a giant horde lost in this place... I suspect illusion."
Ohrmizd
Ohrmizd considers the prudent advise and the suspicion on the wealth and resolves "If there is gold there down, I want to see it with my own eyes before deciding it is just an illusion. It has all the sense the Carrion King kept here his wealth"
"Still no news of Rokova?" the Kheleshite inquiries Roryx.
Foxy Quickpaw
Roryx does another dance and gives the whole party a ride into the dark abyss. Then down the spiral stairs from the ceiling of the cave around the large pillar to the bottom and the group stands in the midst of immense riches. This vast, natural cavern glitters and shines from what appears to be a king’s ransom. Well over a hundred feet across and fifty feet high, the floor of the cavern is a sea of gold coins, lush carpets and tapestries, statues, weapons, armor, immense gemstones, and glittering artifacts.
Ohrmizd
"Wow! You were right! We are rich!" Ohrmizd takes a handful of coins and lets them roll through his fingers "Garavel is going to need some softening if he wants to keep motivating us with just his miser coins..."
The Keleshite looks around for any exit or trace of Rokova.

Omari looks around and says flatly "This is more money than you could find in the whole of the bazaars of Katapesh...". He casts Detect Magic...
I expect to find lots of magic; without K Arcana, I can't identify the school though (but I expect Illusion)... Manuun, Heshan and Roryx; you all have K Arcana and detect magic, I believe

He couldn't believe his eyes. There was more coin in the area than he could ever dream of. He was shifting through the money with his bare hands, smiling with glee... only to frown once his arcane-laced eyes picked up something else.
"It seems like Omari was right to be suspicious." He picked up a coin and examined the magical aura coming out of it. "It is nothing more than an illusion. I have seen many such auras in my magic."
Ohrmizd
"What do you mean? Do you want to trick us all to keep all the gold for yourself Heshan?" Ohrmizd picks another fist of coins and puts it in his pocket.

Ohrmizd accepts Heshan's reasoning with a slight nod, and keeps filling his pockets and backpack until he cannot carry a single more gold "This is just too much treasure to transport now. Perhaps we will need to hire a few workers to transport all once the temple is fully cleaned"
"But where did this Rokova went?" plucking a last coin into his belt Ohrmizd looks around trying to find any concealed exit or some trace of the mysterious man.

It was an odd feeling to be sure. The gold was nice and all, even when it seems to be sticking to him. So why does it hurt all of a sudden?
Hearing Omari's warning, he shrugged. "If you say so."If he isn't able to walk back, he would at least bring out a hand for Omari to pull him back out.

"Holy cow! It's all an illusion!" Ohrmizd drops the gold to the ground and tries to help Roryx get Heshan out of the green stuff "There is muddy water everywhere! That green stuff you are over, that is the cause of the pain! It must be some kind of slime or fungus. Get out of there Heshan!"

Heshan jumps out of the muddy water, and the issue becomes visible to all. Green slime is eating away at Heshan's foot, the bones already showing, spreading up the leg.

My rolling, impressive as always. But I guess you only need to damage it with fire right? Not a specific amount of damage? :P
If there is one to each side holding Heshan down, he can be the very tip of the Burning Hands cone, so he is the only one affected. Maybe we can even catch some patches of green slime and burn it away also.
Ohrmizd
"Oh! Careful! Aim that to the green mud not us!" Ohrmizd does not avoid the burn though as he has his ring of fire resistance "Heshan throw those boots away!"
What he those though is to lower his head expecting a fireball coming in.
Omari the Landless
Omari tries his best to hold Heshan down for the fire, heedless of the risk of his own burns... In fact, he tries to make sure any place where he touches the slime in the process is inside Roryx's fire.

While Roryx hastily reaches for his magic backup, the slime keeps eating on Heshan. But only short, as the magical fire turns the green slime immediately into a brown stinking sludge. Still no nice view, but at least it stopped eating away at Heshan's limb.
Best use for a rolled 1 ever. Thumbs up!
Ohrmizd
"Are you ok Heshan?" Ohrmizd looks at the marks left and frowns "Seems you will need more than a new pair of boots"
The Keleshite then checks at the waters now that he saw through the illusion trying to confirm two things:
1. if the green stuff is now dead
2. if there are more exits going forward
Ohrmizd
"I think there might be some way forward at the end of the cave" states Ohrmizd after his examination "But it might be a good moment to go back to the garden and have a rest to see Heshan healed before truly finding out"
Omari the Landless
"I agree we should go rest; Heshan's injuries are serious... Let us go back up the lift. Manuun can jimmy it so it can go down until it is repaired, so as to secure one entry into the garden area, and we can keep watch on the other for the hours it will take to rest."
Assuming of course, that Heshan is right about the garden's effect. Also, Heshan, you shouldn't be at a max of 14 HP. Normally, your max is 50. You took 6 con damage, which is a -3 penalty. At 6th level, that's -18 = (6*-3) to your HP, so your HP max should be 32...
Ohrmizd
Ohrmizd slightly nods "Good. Let's go back" and starts to walk towards the lift hoping Roryx can manage it again.
Back at the garden, he looks for a comfortable spot and stretches "Mmm... I still feel weak... Pharasma's trip left me marked... this squad mission is leaving me worse than ever"
Ohrmizd will rest for an hour, and if the promised boons are true, he later stands up to eat and watch while the others end resting and preparing spells.
Foxy Quickpaw
This garden would be such a peaceful place if it wasn't in this horrible environment where one must fear that another deadly thing comes around the corner every moment. But for now nothing does. After an hour of resting all feel refreshed.
Like usually after an 8h rest. Spell preparing still only once per day.
