My sincere apologies too all and especially the GM for prolonged absence.
Had to deal with a heavy flu and then this global situation developed, which causes me even more work on top of a heavy workload right now.
Additionaly childcare is closed, so i have a 3 year old at home at all times who needs to be loved and entertained.

I work in a german trading chain in IT, but in this situation most people are also out supporting different markets, so people can buy their toilet paper and stuff.

Know that i will do my best to catch up and return to regular posting, but with this situation i can't say exactly when.

Xawn, I think typically Biohacker shots at allies will automatically hit, at least within a certain range (which I think you're well within). If you look under the entry for your custom microlab, I believe it mentions scanning each of your teammates each day.

If it's okay with Vamp, maybe we can assume that potion hit.

Yes, the potion hit. Biohackers can choose to automatically hit up to 8 allies as long as they 'calibrate' their equipment at the start of the day and the ally is willing . . . and deal no damage to boot!

I suppose so. I should be at full HP with a rest, thanks to Xawn using medicine. Need to look at the equipment the commander had and see if that makes sense for anyone to carry.

I'll probably be doing some work on the ship upgrade this weekend. I'll likely think armor and shield upgrade first. That might mean I need extra power. I'll have to look.

Taking a look at the equipment from the guy we just killed, Pratt could use that armor if no one objects. It's marginally better than what he is wearing now, and has an upgrade slot should we find anything that fits.

That leaves his Zeizerer diffractor I armor available. It's +2/+2.

Pratt is also going to carry one of the autotarget rifles with both clips and any extra rounds as a backup to his laser rifle.

If we can get more potions of healing created, that might be wise.

Somebody should grab that arc pistol. It's probably an upgrade. Maybe 287?

Reconstructor, you saw earlier that the creatures are immune to electricity when the one blasted the other and it didn't hurt him.

Toying with my feat selection options...

Weapon Focus (Small Arms) - For greater accuracy
Weapon Proficiency (Advanced Melee or Longarms) - For greater damage
Skill Focus (Diplomacy) - For mechanical and flavor reasons. Combat Expertise means I can't use my expertise dice on skill checks normally, so Skill Focus actually becomes useful to take. I could pair it with Additional Skill Expertise to use Diplomacy with Combat Expertise.

In general, I've been examining mechanical options for this build and it is looking like I might want to pick up an archetype for expanded weapon options.

Stewards Stalwart looks like the best fit mechanically and thematically but the fluff doesn't align with Rook's established story and it would require me to retroactively swap out an improvisation I've already taken (but managed to forget I have).

Vamp, would you potentially be willing to let me rebuild as a Steward Stalwart without being a member of that organization?


@Blind Rook, we're almost done with the AP, I doubt that a rebuild would be all that great for the few fights you have left. As for opinions, I'd actually recommend basic melee weapon focus, as you seem to be the only one willing to go into melee combat.

Honestly, I think weapon focus (small arms) might be your best bet. Normally, I might advise diplomacy buffs, but I'm not sure if we'll move on past this adventure.

I am going to try to spend a bit of time tonight choosing a feat and new skills.

Rook is leveled up, I decided on Weapon Focus (Small Arms) because while he is willing to go melee, he's definitely not resilient enough to mix it up in melee for too long.

Pratt is all set. I took toughness, so I can take a little more damage (but not much).

Also took the laser accuracy gear boost. +8 to hit with laser rifle right now.
