Cursing as the Jinsul explosion rips into them, Draken pouts at the control panel as Gunnz works their own brand of Operative magic and the machine responds to them. "Well fine then!" they sulk. Sighing in pleasure as Apsel's prayer soothes the burns and mends the cuts, Draken rolls into action, diving across the floor and levelling their acquired Flame pistol. Taking aim on the Jinsul fanatic in green robes they squeeze the trigger.

Finally seeing the comander, Rocket hits the false image but now clears the way for everyone else.

Apsels magic closes the wounds of those around him.

Draken, healed and clear of the door hits the remaining zealot with his shot.

The jinsul then continues to focus on Flameclaw

Not wanting to be caught bunched up in case the Commander lets off another nasty explosion, Draken darts round the Station's power core, using it to distract the Commander long enough to set up another shot on them.

Seeing his ysoki friend in dire straits, Apsel reaches out to soothe what he can of Rocket's wounds. No action requried: Life link to take 5 HP damage and heal Rocket 5 HP.

Just as he prepares to channel Pharasma's power to his allies a second time, Flameclaw advances toward the leader and throws his huge axe.

Watching worryingly as a very wounded Flameclaw runs forward, Apsel urges (through telepathy) "If you desire healing, withdraw toward me."

Full round channel: 4d8 ⇒ (4, 7, 3, 5) = 19

Based on who has HP damage, this will heal Apsel's 5 HP that he just took from Rocket and will heal Rocket another 19, or 24 total. Flameclaw unfortunately is just out of range unless I went before he did, in which case Flameclaw gets 19 HP restored, too.

Scarab Sages

With a full round of everyone attacking the leader, the main Jinsul goes down. The Reactor room is now secure.

Within a few minutes of you alerting Historia-7 and Radaszam that the path to the inner reactor is safe and secure, the faction leaders come jogging up the corridor, each holding one handle of a large, circular metallic object. Historia-7 and Radaszam secure the device to the base of the reactor, Radaszam muttering under his breath about how he’s “getting too old for this kind of work.

On top object is the tiny creature you let loose from the labs. It coos at Radaszam a bit before jumping off and allowing leaders to set up the device. It sniffs at you curiously. You then make your way back the te craft. Spraky, as Radaszam calls the creature, bounds along behind the party.

As the jinsul starship pulls away from the starbase, dozens of small drones deploy from docking bays all over the giant base, frantically chasing after you and your escaping ship. Historia-7 turns, gives the base one final look, and presses the button on a small transponder she held in her hand. After a moment there is a blinding flash of light and the starbase disintegrates into an explosive purple disk. Not looking back, Radaszam engages the Drift engine, and the stolen ship slips into the Drift just as the first shock wave is about to engulf them. “Starfinders,” he laughs, “that… is how it is done.

Panting heavily as the last Jinsul falls, Draken smiles at the group wearily as the adrenaline rush of such a close combat begins to drain from them. After calling in to the Faction leaders the operative slides down against the wall whilst they prep the explosive device. Too tired to speak they follow Radazasm and Historia back to the hijacked starship watching the strange alien creature perched happily on the Well dressed Vesk’s shoulders.

Returning to the Jinsul Starship they dig out some of the booze remaining from the trip up - Draken pours out a measure for all that want one from the bottle.
