Sorry I have not been on much this week...had a medical emergency within the family. All is good now, thankfully. I will hand-wave the meeting with my superior, but I was hoping that he might be able to lend me a holy relic...perhaps a weapon???

No worries, Bernum. I'm glad that everything turned out okay. Medical emergencies are always terrifying.
As for the holy relic, I have an idea. All that you know is that it is a weapon for smiting your enemy that has been passed down through your organization for generations. It's black and about the size of an apple and you are supposed to throw it at your enemy that you wish to smite.

Regarding rations and water. Did the governor send us off without providing us each a few days of rations and water? I purchased 5 days of rations and used the rest of my gold on gear. Will I need to sell some of my gear and purchase more rations for the adventure?

They'll supply you with some food and water. You can each carry five days worth of food and three days worth of water (water is heavy). Those with Str of 15+ can carry an extra 2 days of food and 1 of water.

Updated equipment. I have ten days worth of rations 100 torches, 50’ of rope and 3 gp. Hirelings are expensive; torch bearer is 1 gp/day.
One of our players, Faelana Arvine, has not posted anything since November 21 and also does not seem to have posted under their other aliases. Hopefully they will return, and I'll consider them to be "with the party" or "just behind the party" in case they reappear.

Faelana: I grabbed all of the magic gear from the meeting. So you should have the cloak, charm, anti-chaos pills and magic scrolls. I don't know if you can add them to you spell book, but they're are available.
Let me know how much you need and I'll adjust my gear. Same for you Bernum.

I think the standard is 20 arrows per quiver.

Hi folks, I'm FINALLY back, sorry for the long delay. I had a combination of a writing deadline, a new house fiasco, and then my wife and I had our car totaled (while we were in it). We're thankfully both fine, but I've been dealing with the insurance stuff, plus trying to find a new car. I could have been more in touch, and I'm sorry for that, but things have calmed down again.
