Solis seems rather happy to be in space. She gently pushes herself off the ship and glides from rock to rock, her mote alongside her still glowing with the colour of the Pact World sun and acting as a beacon.

I've forgotten how much fun this is she comments over the comms.

Delea seems nervous about moving without gravity, but moves cautiously forward. My brain is mush tonight, can someone please move me forward?

Buscador pauses on a large chunk of elemental earth to scan the debris field. This proves to his advantage as several of the other pieces of elemental earth suddenly form pools of bubbling acid that erupt into the surrounding Drift space. Professor Sparkles is splattered with the acid.

Marked the explosive chunks of earth with sun symbols.

Two mounds of rock among the ruins on the central mass of earth suddenly shimmer with a neon green luminescence and release from the mass. As their colors shift, it becomes clear that they are some sort of giant, Drift-living celphalopod. One heads directly for Professor Sparkles, its tentacles flaring like a wide net as it approaches him. The tentacles slam into him painfully and leave sizzling rents on his armor. He also notes that the space around the creature is filled with some sort of haze. He environmental protections alert him to the caustic danger.

The other cephalopod seems to be heading for one of the two ysoki.

Solis has no idea what this creature is but she's darn sure she's not going to let it eat a ysoki. So she leaps off the rock she's on and charges at the creature, forming her solar weapon as she does.

Instead, he manages to set himself into a spin, becoming disoriented. Focusing his efforts, he manages to grab ahold of the surface of the rock. Move action to end off-kilter condition.

We ysoki are not affected by off kilter

My understanding is that ysoki do not take the normal penalties to attacks or gain the flat-footed condition from being off kilter, but are still subject to the prohibition against taking move actions except to right his or herself.

Not surprisingly, Professor Sparkles is off-kilter. However with the nearby pod in front of him charges up his fist and swings at the creature

Delea sighs, frustrated that violence seems the only answer, and sends a little bit of space junk flying at the nearer creature. using telekinetic projectile

Sunny skids to a stop along the mass of earthen material beneath the cuttle. She swings her solar blade, but it is rebuffed by the creature's rubbery hide. Bullets and telekinetically projected chunks of elemental debris fly wide. However, despite the chaos of spinning through the Drift, Professor Sparkles manages a solid slap on the side of the other cuttle. Electrical energy surges forth and briefly illuminates the cuttle from the inside.

Buscador recalls that drift cuttles absorb the ambient elemental energy in the Drift, often taking on the properties of the plane from which they are feeding. These, having been dining upon raw elemental earth, are radiating an acidic aura (20 ft radius acid cloud, take damage if end turn within radius). They have no particular special weaknesses (Will save is lowest save).

Professor Sparkles, in addition to experiencing the acidic cloud first hand, predicts that they are resistant to acid but have no general spell resistance. They are also able to fire rays of elemental energy at distant targets, but that doesn't seem to be their preferred tactic at the moment.

Sunny, Lightfoot, and Sparkles armor sizzles as the acid eats away at it and painful drops sneak inside.

The cuttle engaged with Sparkles tries to finish him off, coming disturbingly close. The cuttle near Sunny retaliates and rips a chunk out of her leg with a sharp and caustic tentacle.

Tchisk pushes off toward the main rock. He fires at the blue cuttlefish as he goes.

Not liking the acid eating though his suit, the professor says, "looks like I need to end this quickly"

Realizing that his allies are under attack, Lightfoot ignores the burns from the acid and pushes off back towards the rock he had just left previously. As he glides through space, he pulls a weapon.

@ GM Blake - Does Lightfoot think a thunderstrike sonic pistol or flame rifle would be useable in space? He'll draw either that he thinks effective. If he concludes neither is effective, then he will draw his blade.

As he approaches the rock, the ysoki attempts to grab ahold of it to stop.

Once again, he finds himself spinning and focuses his efforts on righting himself.

Buscador scrambles the relatively simple mind of the nearest Drift cuttle with a forceful psychic thrust.

Sunny's blade bounces off of the cuttle again. Tchisk's pistol strikes.

Professor Sparkles misses contact with the giant space cephalopod.

Rozzicheep: To the best of my knowledge, real physics of voids don't apply--not to mention, what is the Drift?--so either is fine.

I don't recall Delea's starting space, but it appears she moved 15 feet last turn after pushing off.

Delea floats forward, weightless and unimpeded within the Drift.

With her allies in pain, Delea channels the divine power of Weydan and releases a wave of positive, healing energy.

Spending 1 RP to heal all allies within 30 feet as a full action. (Note: Delea's profile appears out-of-date as I don't believe she has previously spent any RP during this scenario.)

Healing, 3rd level: 2d8 + 2d8 ⇒ (7, 3) + (7, 7) = 24

I believe that should restore all HP to Sparkles, Solis, Tchisck, and Delea (though I don't believe she was missing any, again with the profile appearing out-of-date).

Holding tight to their location, Buscador launches another rock at the Drift cuttle.

Delena unleashes a wave of life-giving energy, healing Sunny's and Sparkles' wounds.

The acidic cloud around each of the cephalopods continues to burn at armor and flesh. The cuttles each both easily strike with their caustic tentacles.

Then the elemental debris flares, releasing sprays of acid.

Buscador's telekinetically projected chunk of elemental earth bounces off of the cuttle.

Not wanting to harm the creatures more than necessary for the protection of his fellow agents, Lightfoot draws his flame rifle with the merciful fusion. Muttering a quiet prayer to the Dawnflower, he fires his weapon repeatedly at the nearest cephalopod in the hope of driving it off.

The Drift cuttle trying to eat Sunny finds itself enveloped in a conflagration of doom. When the flames from both the solarion and the flame thrower fade, the creature's hide is horribly blistered and cracked but somehow still alive. (Much to the GM's surprise)

Delea launches another piece of debris into the Drift as she passes through the acid cloud. The caustic particles continue to eat through the armor of those near them.

The badly injured Drift cuttle jets away from Sunny, soaring out into the Drift to find a place to hide and recuperate. (Sunny can take an AOO if she wants).

The remaining Drift cuttle, however, is still intent on devouring Professor Sparkles. This time, however, the appendages glance off of his armor, sparing him for the moment.

Intent on not seeing Professor Sparkles get devoured, Lightfoot tightens his grip on his flame rifle and pushes off toward the cephalopod.

Sunny pants, recovering from the explosion, then as the cuttle starts to pull away, takes the attack of opportunity.

Solis flips off that rock in order to attack the second cuttle.

However, to get to that rock, next to Professor Sparkles, she has to double move. As she jumps she looks over to Delea Are you okay over there she asks over the comms Do I have to come catch you?

I don't know why, but I like that one of the dangers here is just floating off into space.

With the charge still on hand, the professor tries to shock the creature again.

Buscador pushes off the rock, and starts floating in the direction of the remaining cuttle.

As they approach, they take a shot with their laser pistol.

Enough! Delea yells telepathically. She sends a burst of mental energy at the enemy.

Sparkles transilluminates the Drift cuttle once more. Then, in response to Delea's psychic scream, its natural bioluminescence fades and it slowly begins to drift away, dead.

Solis springs off to help Delea deal with zero gravity and bring her back to the others.

We should take some time to gather ourselves before continuing forth. IE take a 10 minute rest.

Buscador will continue drifting over to the next rock before redirecting to the building to the "north".

Sparkles makes sure everyone is secured before taking 10 minutes. He will move to where everyone holes up as needed. Also he pulls out a mk1 Serum of healing for himself.

The chunk of debris to which Buscador makes his way supports much of a simple house made of wood and cob, though the transition into the Drift cleanly sliced off part of the building’s back corner. Inside are a bed, a small bookshelf, a rug, and a hearth. The books are all written in an unknown language.

Also sitting upon the bookshelf is a lockbox. Faintly glowing sigils have been inscribed upon the lid.

Buscador should not be exploring alone. Tchisk is not injured and can go with him while the others rest.

After helping Delea get to the rock that the others are on, Solis also takes a ten minute rest

Lightfoot floats to the rock, taking the time to keep his footing. Catching up with the Professor, he explores the ruins, taking stock of the books and lockbox.

After being collected, Delea checks on those who have been injured. Willing to use a spell slot or two to heal HP damage rather than people using consumables
