Got it!

For the record, I like “The Miscreants” as our official party name.

My default is "the adventurers", but you're hardly that in this campaign. ;-P

You’ve been calling us “the miscreants” for a while - I’m just suggesting that once we start to get a bit of a reputation, we make it official.
And now that’s two votes!

So just curious what everyone was thinking about for level 2? character progression is one of my fav aspects of pathfinder. I am heading into cross classing into fiendflesh shifter to keep up with the demonic theme of the pc. How about you guys?
Wolfgang von Erzteufel
Wolfgang’s archetype is already effectively multiclassing, so I’m going to stick with it - his progression is slow enough as it is. All he really gets at level 2 is evasion (nice, but not earth shattering yet). I’m looking forward to when he gets sneak attack at level 3 and access to rogue talents at level 4.

Your right, your archtype does feel like a multi class I really dig it. Your going to have a lot of tools at your disposal cant wait to see how it plays out
GM Hawthwile
Thank you so much for your patience , everyone. The good news is that one of my Gameday scenarios should be finished in a week (give or take a few days), which means I'll have much more bandwidth for this game.

Frankly, Sicaria's build is a pretty generic warpriest up until level 6, when she actually starts going into Red Mantis Assassin.

The assassin I cant wait to see go online, I'm jealous. I dont think theres any evil prestige classes besides that one that I'm aware of :)
Eradessa Spritz
I baked a lot of quirky options right into Eradessa as is, so she's definitely going to stay sorcerer for the foreseeable future. As for how she's going to progress... You'll have to wait and see! Haha. So will I, honestly. I tend to pick based on my characters experiences whenever possible, or niche/thematic options that work for them that I might not otherwise get to use effectively. So, we'll see.
It's Thanksgiving here, so Happy Thanksgiving!! I'm spending the rest of the long weekend with family. I'll post again Tuesday.
Thanks!

I’m going to be at an all-day convention this coming Friday/Saturday, so I’m pretty sure that I’m not going to be able to post during that time.
Eradessa Spritz
Thanks!
And have fun, Sicaria.
Wolfgang von Erzteufel
I'm sorry to have missed this earlier, but if we're sort of hand-waving Sicaria selling her old weapon, can we do the same for Wolfgang? He would have sold his original rapier - at half price, that's another 10gp in the pot.
GM Hawthwile
More to come in the morning - figuring out who can sell what is a bit time-intensive. But with one Gameday table finished and another on its last stretch, I've got more time to spend here. Woo!

I take it there isn’t a gazetteer for Longacre at the back of the book identifying the few places that might sell some low-level magic items or an occasional spellbook? I suppose not every town is as fully fleshed out as Sandpoint is in the appendix to Rise of the Runelords Anniversary Edition. No rush - didn't mean for it to be a hassle. I assume we'll capture a spellbook or some arcane scrolls along the way.
GM Hawthwile
They do - but nobody sells scrolls or spellbooks according to the AP. x-D I've been trying to drop some hints as to where Wolfgang might find those items though...
Wolfgang von Erzteufel
Oh, you have - just didn’t realize there was nothing for sale! I’ll find a way to move forward on one or two of the other methods, thanks.

I'm leaving before dawn tomorrow to visit my daughter at college for Parents & Family Weekend, back home Sunday night. I will probably be able to post once each day, but I will likely be off my usual schedule and I doubt I'll be able to post more than once each day. Please bot me if necessary.
Eradessa Spritz
I'm going to be too busy to get a post in over the next few days. Hoping to be back to regular posting by Friday. Bot me if needed. Thanks.

Just curious if anyone has a tally or rundown on how much total gp we have accumulated so far?
100gp first mission
200gp second mission
175 for stolen goods?

Pretty sure that's what the inventory sheet is for.

I am not used to playing low-charisma characters, and I keep forgetting that I left Wolfgang’s CHA at 8. Given his “Cowardly” drawback, I figure the low CHA will be most obvious when he is confronted by someone with in a position of apparent authority.
Also, Nomed someone asked about what we've been paid so far. In addition to what we've been paid, we have sold our stolen goods and extra gear, but as we haven't gone shopping yet since the town square, we're still holding the cash.
Based on the GM's excellent loot sheet:
- Razelago paid us each 120gp for the tannery job, except 70gp for Sicaria (due to potion drama?); we did have time to shop after that payment
- We sold stolen goods from the tannery for 168.75 each
- Razelago paid us 200gp each for town square job
In addition, Sicaria sold armor and weapons she no longer needs for 47.25gp, and Wolfgang sold his old rapier for 10gp (which I just added under the "Sold" tab on the loot sheet).
Did I miss anything?

Thank you so much, I had everything besides our stolen goods figured out from the list

Sorry everyone - trying to cover for a colleague’s vacation means more time at the office and less time for posting. I’ll try to have something up later today.
Wolfgang von Erzteufel
That’s fine, thanks for letting us know.

Hey all. I know that it’s been a bit since things have happened here, but as someone who has consistent contact with the GM outside of PbP, I’d like to elaborate on stuff in Hawthwile’s stead.
Covering for a colleague was only the tip of the iceberg for what our GM has going on—he also has several projects going on simultaneously with other stuff that I won’t completely elaborate on since I don’t feel I have the authority to disclose that stuff (even if it is relatively minor). To use his words: “It’s been a week of no sleep and coffee every day. And I don’t drink coffee.”
For that reason, until everything clears up, I think it’s safe to say that this campaign will go on a temporary hiatus. I know Hawthwile well, so I can assure you that this will certainly be temporary and that he wouldn’t just abandon the campaign without informing the party (and I’m determined to not let this campaign die unjustly for admittedly selfish reasons [I wanna be a Red Mantis Assassin, dadgummit!]). I ask that you periodically check into this campaign so that you will be aware for when it starts back up again.
Eradessa Spritz
No worries. He can take all the time he needs.
Wolfgang von Erzteufel
Thanks for the update, Sicaria. Hope everything's going well for Hawthwile despite being busy. We'll be here - let's all just make sure to post here every so often so the campaign doesn't go inactive and drop off the main part of our Campaigns pages.

Thanks for letting us know, hope all is well hawthwile and look forward to more adventures with the miscreants
GM Hawthwile
Thank you everyone. I should be back online now - helps that I'm on semi-vacation for the next few days due to a trip to a client's office for workshops.
Wolfgang von Erzteufel
Welcome back!
Sicaria Rubei
Eradessa shoots a rainbow of colours into Bolgart and the patrons faces.
Colour spray. Will DC 15 negates. Aiming to strike as many patrons as possible.
Well...I was planning on talking with you guys, the players, to see if we actually wanted to attack them, but I’m pretty sure that makes us go into Initiative, which I’m also okay with.
Eradessa Spritz
I was under the impression we had to force him to listen or fail in our mission, (as we did at the gate), and talking wasn't working. Plus, he just poured burning hot chili on Sicaria! Ouch. Haha. If most of the group doesn't want to fight I can detract the spell, but Eradessa wants to put them in their place, violently if necessary. And if we're getting overwhelmed we can always flee. Plus, I already cast a spell the round before, and others attacked. Discussing continuing to attack didn't cross my mind.
Wolfgang von Erzteufel
Wolfgang threw a dagger as his first move, so obviously combat’s fine with me (especially if Eradessa can take out a good number of patrons). I think the idea of working for someone with as much power as the Archbaron has gone to Wolfgang’s head. He hasn’t started to wonder (yet) about why, if the Archbaron is so powerful, he needs a bunch of level 1 miscreants to enforce his edicts.
Wolfgang von Erzteufel
Like a lot of US folks on the boards, I am likely to be off of my usual posting schedule through Sunday. I'll try to keep an eye on my games and will probably be able to post daily as needed, but may miss a day here or there. (Also, my daughter - eldest child - gets home tonight and there will be much rejoicing!)
Wolfgang von Erzteufel
Not to metagame too much, but is anyone else deeply concerned about the bartender’s attack bonus and Fort save?
Wolfgang von Erzteufel
I'm more worried that the one with immediate healing magic just got downed.
Oh, I’m worried about that too,
Edit: Or maybe not! Way to go, Eradessa!

So, today’s the U.S. holiday of Thanksgiving, so I make no promises that I’ll be getting around to posting for the majority of the day if at all.
GM Hawthwile
Sorry folks, work stuff and trying to pack for a 2.5 week vacation that starts with a 06:00 flight on Thursday. Might not get to resolving this until the weekend. On the bright side, when I’m up at 04:00 in the morning due to jetlag and inescapable hunger, posting is a nice quiet thing to do without waking the relatives. So, yay?
