Dardanius is able to move to one side, away from the webs, and pelts his enemy with arrows although they don't do as much damage as he would expect. -37 Weed further damages his foe and combined with Amarth's efforts, finishes it off.

The three survivors (one server, one cook, and one customer) behind the table tell you a tale of terror. As the evening was winding down in the main room of the inn, the rotting humanoids burst through the front door and began their frightful slaughter. Resistance quickly turned to panic and flight and those that tried to get out the front were met by the arachnid creature and quickly dispatched. Survivors fell back into the kitchen, with the most stalwart dying at the door, trying to hold it. The rest you know.

The fallen in the main room look like they were reanimated briefly before Amarth's positive energy bursts laid them low.

Dardanius can't surmise much, but linking the scepter imbued with essence from the goddess of undeath is probably a good guess.

Weed doesn't find any survivors, it looks like most of the dead rose as undead before being put down by Amarth's positive energy bursts. Looking out to the street he can hear the heavy booted steps of the city watch headed towards the Inn. Some neighbors look out from their front doors or second story windows, faces filled with horror and dismay at the noises they heard earlier.

Nothing of interest on the combatants. Amarth recognizes the spider as a type of daemon found on the plane of Abaddon. The undead appear to be just that, if somewhat augmented by other worldly powers.

The Watch arrives and after some brief questioning clears the party of any wrongdoing, releasing them to go about their busienss.

Weed opens the door of the cabin revealing of the deck of the ship. A stiff breeze fills the sails, and you can hear the crash of the hull as it cuts through the swells of the inner sea. Lanterns are lit fore and aft and you can see a sailor at the bow of the ship as well as a pair leaning over the starboard rail, apparently talking as they watch the sea. Stairs to either side of you lead to the upper deck and the ship's wheel.
