"Look, I don't know the specifics. I can tell you is that Haab kept a letter with instructions and the offer. He did not share it with us, instead keeping it in a chest under the bar. Now finish me off or let me go."

Sure enough, behind the bar is the chest the dwarf spoke of. The letter sticks out just enough that you can remove it without needing to unlock the chest.

navigate.

The name Zohir Totek belongs to an apprentice of a fey necromancer, known as Karexin. Delbera Axebringer and her adventuring companions made their name in defeating these two.

Rorik study's the note holding his unholy symbol loosely in his other paw. Suddenly his eyes flash with a red glow. As the interrogation happens and the other Pathfinders wonder what to do, Malsuza busies herself practicing her Dungeon Exploration Protocol. She does a perimiter of the room, pressing herself into every little nook and cranny to explore for any hidden goodies.

Before leaving the taproom Rarik grabs one of the femurs hanging from his side, "Rovagug guard your faithful, so they may accomplish greater destruction." After completing the prayer he releases the bone, and it begins hovering protective at his side.
Rorik has been moved to the room I want to search next.

Elemental Whispers:
You form a friendship with a fragment of your element. The element speaks back to you empathically, like a familiar. Pick a type of creature usually allowed as a familiar when you gain this wild talent. You gain the Alertness feat and the special abilities granted by a familiar of that type. As a standard action, you can give the voice of the element the body of such a creature, using elemental matter of the appropriate element within 30 feet. As long as you concentrate, the familiar can take actions as a normal animal of its type, and it can move any distance away from you, though if it takes any damage or you cease concentrating, it returns to your mind. You lose Alertness while the familiar is manifested in this way. The familiar gains abilities as usual for a familiar of its type, though it never gains the ability to speak with animals of its kind.

Gordy's familiar has a Perception of +13 and Stealth of +23, making it a decent scout.

The follower of Rovagug steps forward into the trophy room.

A heavy partition divides this room into two sections. Shattered glass and looted armor and weapon racks litter the north end of the room, where a massive display case stands open and empty. A half-dozen animal trophies fill the southern half of the room, including the mounted head of a bulette looms from the eastern wall, a stuffed cloaker hangs from the ceiling in mid-swoop, and a taxidermic dire boar prepares to charge from his central plinth.

This particular haunt appears to be based on the life of Delbera Axebringer, and is only a piece of it. Channeling positive energy on all of the haunts before they can re-manifest, or finding the lady's spirit and calming her, would be the only way to stop it permanently.

After about thirty-six seconds a faint chanting can be heard, slowly getting louder. The voice slowly becomes recognizable as Kipp, before the words become clear...

Gordy concentrates and a long line of water slides out of his ear and falls to the ground, forming into a black and white snake. The snake looks up curiously at the group, flicks it's tongue, then starts to slither down the west hallway.

The serpent slithers down the hallway, scouting out several doors. To the south lies the a hall with a plaque; in Dwarven it reads "The Hall of Ancestors".

Statues depicting stern dwarven figures line this hall, separating 60 body-sized niches carved into the walls. A meticulous mosaic of a flame-enshrouded axe covers the floor at the room’s center. Heavy stone doors lead south, and two smaller doors nearly blend into the walls on each side of the main entrance.

Three skeleton guards reside in the room, as well as five fresh bodies. They look like corpses from raid in Davarn. Slide 6

To the north from the skeletons appear to be two massive bronze doors. They appear to have been locked with a sturdy Duergar lock. Hastily painted on the doors is the words in Undercommon.

The snake returns to Gordy, who kneels down and let's the snake crawl back into his ear. He pauses, nodding his head as if agreeing to something, then strokes his beard worriedly.

Gordy describes what his familar saw.
"The Cap'n says we got three of them undead fellers up ahead. And it sounds like this rescue mission mighta just turned into a body recovery expedition. Cap'n says it looks like the skellies killed the folk they dragged back here."

Gordy stares down the hall with a grin look as the water constantly dripping off him form into a pair of wicked looking sabres at the end of each arm.

"We gotta put them down."

Malsuza rears up in response to Grimes, mimicing the dwarf's movements as she extends a pair of pseudopods. These two slimy limbs end it thick, blunt force weapons.
