It was obvious to Rajni that there was some serious miscommunication going on. Taking a breath to try and calm herself, she quietly shuts the door. Taking another breath she gives Juhi and her aunt an apologetic look before looking back at Toska and Auric, "I'm sorry...butg what I think we have here, is a failure to communicate effectively. Could we please go to the sitting room and talk? I'd like to give my family time to finish their breakfast in peace. We can sort things out in there." She says, motioning to the other room. She probably read more into what he was saying, than what he actually meant. She really needed to work on her temper. These people were important to Toni and Rajni knew that she took her duties as Szef very seriously, so she really didn't want to do anything that would make her job more stressful or difficult.
"If that would be okay" Toska asks with a slight bow before entering when she motions them in.
Taking them into the other room, she motions for them to have a seat on the comfy couch while she sits across from them in a chair.
Rubbing her temples for a moment she says after taking another breath, "Okay, I think we might be having a slight misunderstanding here. I got upset because when you said, "Do we have an hour tuo wait?", what I heard was, "We don't need Toni to go deal with this". I'm sorry if I misunderstood your meaning, but....I need you to understand that Toni is like a big sister to me and she's been through a lot, so when I feel that she or her position is being threatened, even if that's not the case, I get very defensive....so, I apologize for that....and for losing myh temper." She says sincerely. The last thing she wanted to do, was make things more stressful for Toni right now.
After being quiet for a moment or two she looks down at her hands, "I'm sorry I misunderstood what you were trying to say. I have to remember that not everyone knows me thed way that my family does, which Toni is a part of. She's sick, so I'm worried, and I guess....I'm just more sensitive than I should be. Sometimes I just react without thinking. It's a really bad habit that I need to work on. I guess I'm not very good at listening to people either. I seldom hear the true meaning of other people's words." She shrugs while looking down at the floor, "I don't know why I am the way that I am....I just...am."
Toska listens quietly before giving a respectful nod. "I understand.I'll do my best to be more clear in my words from here on. As for the the original misunderstanding, I was not trying to dismiss Toni or her station, but was worried if those apprehended would wait for us."
Rajni nods and looks up with a confused expression, "But...but you said last night that Mr. Barclay was gonna let them go. If they stayed here in town, they would have gone to the common house. It's really the only place we have for temporary visitors. There's a place to eat in the common house too now. They could be there, or at one of the other eating places? Where should I have Toni meet you when she gets up, or did you just want to come back here after finding them?" She asks, unsure of the best way to get everyone to meet up.
”We could go to the common house, then to Barclay if they’re not there unless we get information otherwise.” Toska muses before adding. ”We’ll come back, no point in all of us running around and hoping we cross paths.”
She nods, "Okay, the lady who runs the Common house, her name is Atlana. She should know if they're still there. I'm sure they're probably just eating somewhere, if they're even up yet. If they're not at the Common House, or Jericho's restaurant that's in the Common House, I would just try the other eating places around town." She pauses for a moment, "I'm sure everything will be okay. I may not understand everything that's going on, but I know Toni, and I believe in her." She says with absolute conviction and sincerity.
Toska nods along as Rajni goes over her hunches about where to find those they were looking for.
Standing up she extends a hand, "I hope you find what you're looking for. My sister's wedding is today though, soooo....I really should get back to my family. I'll fill in Toni when she gets up, and let her know that you'll be back."
A look of remembrance crossing her features, Rajni slaps a hand to her forehead. She had forgotten about Elena feeling ill what with the interruption and ensuing misunderstanding. Sighing she says, "Actually, Elena isn't feeling well this morning, so I need to head out as well. I need to go see Ms. Konstantyna and find out if there's anything we can do to stop the nausea." She explains, agitated with herself for forgetting.

Auric looks from Rajni to Toska then back to Rajni. "You two really bicker like an old married couple."
He silently follows them to the sitting room, finally interjecting when the tension seems to thin out. "Barclay said he'd fetch them in the morning and we'd meet them at his barracks on the west end of town. He didn't specify a time and they agreed to wait until we all of us showed up, whomever 'all of us' may be."
Rajni looks from Toska, to Auric, and then back to Toska before blushing furiously, "No...I...that's not what...we were just, it was just a misunderstanding. I don't...it's not like that." She stammers.
Rajni looks from Toska to Auric, "Oh...okay, well I'll just let her know that then. I'm not sure how many people she wants to go, but Ikm sure she'll figure it out. It feels nice outside, if you've already eaten, you could go for a walk and relax. The beach is really nice, and it could give you a chance to relax before your meeting." Rajni looks down and notices that she's still in her sleep set. Blushing again she says, "I...I think I should go up and change before I try to find some help for Elena."
Auric looks to Toska. "We can go get Gyrthr and Svanna in the meantime, I guess."
Rajni looks from Auric to Toska and wonders what they would do, while hoping her little outburst in the kitchen wouldn't have her in too much trouble. If that wasn't bad enough, she would have to leave without finishing her breakfast to find someone to help Elena.
”That is not a good picture of a couple,” Toska comments to Auric outside.
Inside after she finishes he takes Rajni’s hand. ”Thank you, congratulations, and my symphonies.” he says as she runs through everything.
”Oh! That’s good then. Sounds like a plan.” he tells Auric.
Rajni cocks her head to the side as she tries to comprehend what Toska is saying, "Okay...yeah, sure. I'll make sure she gets the message." Walking with them back to the door she opens it for them, "Good luck with everything. Try not to worry too much."
”I’ll try,” he responds with a smile.
Giving the pair a smile she nods, "Okay, we should still be here when you come back for Toni, but in case we're not, just come in and call out for Toni or Malyoxa. One of them should be able to hear you, though their room is in the back of the house, so you might have to call a little loudly. Today is just kind of crazy, so I'm not sure where we'll be when. Just try to have a good day okay, and hopefully Toni will be feeling a little better when she gets up."
Giving the two gentlemen a wave as they leave, she turns and heads back to the kitchen.
Toska respectfully bows to Rajni before turning to Auric.
Auric leads the way to Svanna and Gyrthr's home. "I'm just calling it as I see it. I had a sixth...no, seventh cousin who had been married for about five years who fought like that with her husband. Everyday, they were yelling at each other, but they were madly in love with each other."
He grins at Toska. "Maybe you have feelings for the young lady?"

"So they had lots of passion... how did that relationship go?" Toska asks as they walk. When the halfling gets cheeky he chuckles. "Neither in my heart nor my pants."
"The arguments last night and this morning were aggravating and confusing rather than inflaming, but hopefully that'll be ameliorated now The confusion that is."

"They had four children," Auric answers. "I'm not sure what they're up to now."
Auric looks up at the duskwalker. "You have a very colorful vocabulary. Not that it's bad...it just makes you seem a little aloof."

"Hopefully not making more kids.," Toska says with a bit of a chuckle.
"Oh?" he adds when the halfling points out his speech patterns. "Really? So should I use... friendlier... less colourful words?"
Yulia smiles at Drago after she finishes tying her hair in a braid. "I'm ready if you are."

Auric looks down for a moment, unsure what, if anything, to say to his Midwife. The truth was that the halfling was afraid of hurting Toska's feelings, seeing that the duskwalker was having a difficult time making friends. Or, at least, that's how it seemed to Auric, given Toska's reluctance to leave him yesterday.
He imperceptibly shakes his head to clear his thoughts for the time being. Getting to Gyrthr and Svanna's home, Auric knocks on the door.
