The other mamluks just finish cleaning up their fight and all in all there are about 7 captured Corsairs and the Badriyah, the halfling woman who is in charge of the Caravan, has a large smile on her face and she says, "You are a blessing from Najm... It has been brought to my attention that not only did you suss out who was in poisoned the camels and stopped his plot to poison us, you were the first to stop the Corsair raid before reaching Adhal."

"Curiosity pushes us toward greatness," Nabila says with a placid smile. "These raiders appear to be rather well organized," she says glancing at the map Chipluck is staring at. "It is sad so many must cause trouble for honest people." Oh, that map looks interesting. Really, interesting. Where is this? And where does that go? She gradually moves to stand beside Chip looking at the map.


Chip offered the electrum and silvered jambiya to any in the party that would hold them. He wasn't sure why he was still putting on airs of poverty out here on the caravan, just habit perhaps.

Unfurling the map subserviently for Nabila and anyone else, Chip struggled to place themselves on it. He motioned where the thieve's route intersected the normal caravan route "Pardon my most profound idiocy, my most pure ineptitude...but could it be where the thieve's route intersects the caravan route is our current location? Our destination, Adhal, just beyond?"

Then, while they were distracted, he collected his trusty rusty daggers from the dead and re-concealed them on his person, along with the Grand Caliph's dagger. While he was at it, he searched the dead.

She looks quite subdued; clearly, hiding in a sand-dune is not the heroic role that she envisioned for a magician-poet based on the fanciful stories of yore.
