The sphinx struggles for a moment more in Mena's grasp and then scowls.
Enough of this nonsense. This is getting boring.
Suddenly, the Sphinx's body becomes like pudding in Menas's hands, slipping through his fingers. It slides away from him and out of the chains that he had used to bind him flowing like water. It reforms into a serpentine creature that has the lower body of a snake, a humanoid torso, and a bird-like head and claws.

They effects are meant to stack (It's sonic, physical damage using sound, not a kind of spell dependent on "Hearing" it), and they are not negated by being deafened. Loxx, the Familiar's attack hit, and the 3 damage was included, but has been healed by the creatures transformation, and his freedom of movement means the vines didn't hold. My apologies for not calling those out. Though, the familiar should also make the saves, it's sonic based so it wouldn't have immunity like I thought.
Menas, Wow that is a absolutely ridiculous ability. For future reference, please make sure to include if you have a archetype on your character sheet? I wasted WAY to much time trying to figure out what gave you the ability to negate freedom of movement. (No check and you just negate it until next turn? Bloody Hell! Least it drains your Ki fast...)

If it is sonic based, then the leshy is immune as leshies have immunity to sonic effects.

Ah, yes, plants. Sorry, I got it mixed up with what Deagan was saying about deafen granting immunity (I originally thought it was like, language based sound or something and had to look it up) and I knew plants would be immune to a mental thing.

I usually do put my archetype in my profile, I think this might be the only character that doesn't mention it. I do link to my mythweaver's sheet in my profile...which also doesn't mention it other than the name of the tab that says PFSTetori, wow, my bad there!. Agreed, I have a whole thread about tetori and freedom of movement on the fourms. Basically, I hate that freedom of movement makes you immune to grapple, but tetori negates freedom of movement. Can we not have so much immune/negate as counterplay?
