I just noticed that I didn't answer your question about starting level Gnomez. Yes, starting at level one. Any ideas on a class? So far we have a Wizard, a monk, a barbarian, a druid, and a bard (my friend I had mentioned before). Emergency healing should be covered, striking should be covered as well. The highest AC so far is a 15 but everyone has only starting equipment.

Good evening folks. I'm new to play-by-post games and have been getting things set up with the forums so this will be a bit of a learning experience for me for a bit. Apologies for the delay on posting.

I'm looking to play a bard, mostly focusing on usual bard stuff of persuasion, buffs, and healing. I took the spy background so I can also fiddle with traps whenever I get my hands on some tools.

I'm still fleshing out the character background but tentatively leaning towards a meddling bard for good-ish ends. Pretty much with the Harpers, faction-wise.

The constable will show up this afternoon. I wanted to give gnomez a little more time to get a character up without having to play a bunch of catch up.

Unfortunately Gnomez will not be joining us at this time so we are down to 5.

As far as equipment goes, is anyone looking for other equipment besides starting items?

Just starting items for Dasim at this point.

Armor upgrade to Breast Plate, and eventually, Half Plate.

Not at the moment, but very near future will no doubt need supplies for find familiar and copying new spells (the special inks and paper etc). Also some particular material components such as the 100gp pearl for Identify and such.

Bah, missed a post yesterday. Sorry my teaching job is starting again and going crazy with 10,000 open houses and what not, lol. Will settle down in a few days and can post more in depth/longer.

No worries Mags, apart from trying to burn the whole forest down I think it went well enough.

I'm no artist so the are going to be room numbers on the map. Hope that's ok. Also, I'm trying to edit these things in MS paint... pardon the roughness.

No worries on the maps. I've used Google sheets a bunch myself. Doingit old school and 'Theater of the mind' also works if that is easier.

I gotcha, they are more for navigation than for battlemat purposes in case my description isn't clear. I'm more of a visual person when it comes to that stuff.

So I've kinda sorta updated the combat map. Its really big so the icons are fairly small. If we don't want to use it for precise positions, I'll use it to give more of a general idea of things.

Alternately, I may just cut off half the map and make two separate maps to make them bigger if necessary.

After we determine full coinage, I suggest we split evenly. Rrath has no interest in the magical items.

Coolness so that's 16.5+78+100=194.5 gp total, or 38.9 gp each.

Apologies for light posting, love this character but pace is a bit sluggish recently. Feeling it in some other games too, maybe start of summer? Is DM posting once a week going to be normal?
