The next room is also mostly empty, however this room is showing more signs of neglect and disuse. Over the years the flooboards have begun to rot and warp.

Beat It Flat |

Is everyone following Malark? I need a marching order for traveling between areas.
As Malark crosses the room, the floor creeks.

Beat It Flat |

Opening the next door, Malark finds a room that was probably last used for storage. Most of the stuff is old, decaying and useless.
Give me a perception check.

Tiki will follow the group. If the floor is creaking, Tiki will try to find a way around it has both he and Kiti are pretty heavy themselves, nevermind together.

Arie stays back, near Maka.

Malark entered the next room and searched but did not find anything interesting. Anyone following?

Tiki is looking to test the floor of the bastion. The creaking had him worried. Mounted on his Rhino they total about 5000 pounds.

Map seems to be working for me today, moved in behind Malark, not that it'll do much good if it comes to a fight. :)

Arie give me 2 perceptions and Silver bullet give me 1 perception as Maka steps on a board that makes a very load creak.

Beat It Flat |

Silver bullet notices at the last second a huge reaver claw bursting through the floor boards under him.
Silver Bullet give me an Acrobatics check to try to jump out of the way.

Beat It Flat |

I am sorry, I did not respond to tiki checking the floor for weak points earlier. The floor is not weak where it is going to break under anyone’s weight, but does creak is a few locations where the reaver can hear and in this case can break a small section that it can get a claw through.

To make it easier to follow into the smaller doorways, Tiki casts reduce animal on Kiti and then uses his racial change size ability on himself to become small. He wields his earthbreaker which resizes with him.
Tiki will also cast longstrider and feather step on Kiti.
Tiki follows the others into the room.

Silver just barely evades being grappled by the huge reaver claw. Maka and Tiki are able to avoid the creaky boards and proceed to next part. What are you goinh to do

Do we think it's safe to continue to the hallway to the west? Otherwise, we can spill out into the main room and approach the rest of the rooms from there.
Are you asking the other members of the party, or whether it looks safe for Maka to contine?
The floor in the next room appears to be in better shape then the present room you are in. A quick search (not a great one) has been done without and creaky floor.

Honestly, I wasn't sure exactly what was checked and what wasn't, with the lag in checks and moving tokens, I sort of lost track of where we were. So, let me ask the following questions to help clear up my confusion (and maybe anybody else's):
1) The room Arie and Malark are in (the 4x4 before the hallway with the stairs): is this room safe? Do we know this information or do we need to make checks?
2) Has anybody perceived on the hallway room with the stairs to see if that area is safe?
3) Does the group want to go around to access the rooms on the slanted wall (meaning would we rather go out to the north of the room the rest of the party is in, and access those rooms from the large central chamber)?

Beat It Flat |

The room Arie and Malark are appears safe. Malark searched the room with a perception roll of 8.
No one has check out the hallway room and stairs.

Malark Kreel |

Malark exits the room and enters the central chamber. From there he continues to other side and opens nearest door.
perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

The door Malark opens reveals a small chamber that was probably used by the clerics in preparation for services. The room is empty and shows no immediate dangers.

The room contains several small benches, some still upright and intact, arranged around a large reliquary at the far end of the room. The reliquary is an oak and brass stand containing a two foot tall marble statue of a soldier in armor, kneeling over a shallow bowl. The soldier's face wears a pained expression, and appears to weep over the bowl. The bowl, made from a black lacquered wood, contains a clear liquid.
A severly wounded orc rests in the room.

Kiti and Tiki move forward, the latter pulling out a wand that he offers to Malark.
"Feel free to use this, or if you'd prefer, step aside and let me do it."

“I came here with several others from my tribe. Mahja Firehair sent twelve of us here to cleanse the temple and capture the red reaver. The Twisted Nail was here before us, and it seems they too want the reaver for their own purposes. We had thought we could remove the beast and let it loose on our enemies in Belkzen, but it is larger and more aggressive than we anticipated. It cannot be contained or reasoned with.”

The visions of the Red Reaver flash in Maka's mind, instilling a bit of fear into her voice.
"You seeked to... control Red Reaver? That seems foolish. Red Reaver is strong and powerful. We came here to cleanse temple as well, but to destroy Reaver, not contain and use as a tool.
"Please, anything you can tell about this temple or destroying the Reaver would be helpful to our cause."

“The creature is very good at sniffing out intruders. We had set up camp north of here, just beyond the edge of its territory. The creature is not
very smart, so it can be tricked, but do not try to reason with it. I think its time here has made it more aggressive. It is connected to the healing font, and perhaps some of the other relics here as well. If you can break those links, you might weaken it.”
We laid a trap for the creature in the main hall but it isn’t set. If you activate the pressure plate and cables though, the harness should hold the reaver for a time. I hope that helps.” Uirch marks on the map the location of the trap and pressure plate.
