Tiki notices that anchor to the ceiling is a collar and muzzle on cables. It looks to be a trap to entangle the reaver and probably slow. It down for a short while if you could manage to engage it in the area. The trap does not appear to be set yet. Tiki also notices the pressure plate on the floor that would trigger the trap once it is set.

Feel free to explore the Bastion. The reaver is obviously outside searching for a way to get in, but you think you have a while. Remember the reaver is stronger than it should be pssibly because of ties to the bastion.

Tiki and Kiti move into the center of the room, stopping at the ruined pews to see what happened. He keeps his lance in hand in case he need to charge some crimson beast if it batters down the barricade.

Other than the reaver trap, nothing of particular note in this main portion of the bastion.
Looks like the pews were smashed by crushing damage as though something huge landed on them.

Arie can arm the trap since you know where the pressure plate manual trigger is. Also it does not look like anyone moved to another area yet. Just move you to the room you want to check out first.

To speed things along the room that Arie has moved in front of has nothing of particular interest in it.
You do however hear the sounds of the reaver circling around the builing trying to find a way in. Also sound from a basement area that sounds like claws from the reaver.

I've moved Maka in front of the next door to explore so we can speed things along.
Can someone tank-like take the lead? (Tiki? Silver Bullet?) The bard and witch should not be front-line.

This large chamber is dark and reeks of decay, barely alleviated
by a gaping hole in the ceiling above. Stacked along the walls are
the dismembered remains and torn armor of dozens of former
soldiers and Lastwall crusaders. In stark contrast, the western wall
holds an enormous font of clear water. A stone figure of a rose set
into the wall spills water in a trickle into the basin. The low wall
of the font is carved with a brilliant sunburst and is untouched
by the vines and moss that cover the muddy floor of the room.
A steel and gold helmet lays at the bottom of the font, its image
shimmering beneath the subtle ripple of the font’s water.

Can Arie tell what killed the soldiers? Does it look decidedly Reaver like?

Yes deffinately looks reaver like death. Looks like a reaver nesting place. Font detects as magic

It radiates conjuration magic, but unsure what it may do.
This does seem to be the helmet you were sent to retrieve.
There do not appear to be any traps, but when Silver bullet reaches in, you see a tangle of ethereal vines materialize briefly around the
helmet, clutching it in place.

"Since the font is magical I will risk my life and try to drink water from it." Malark approached the font and drank the water.
Can Knowledge religion be helpfull here? If so...

Maka stares at the helmet for a few moments.
"This place is holy site; we must preserve temple, so we should not forcibly remove helmet. Perhaps there are clues to removing helmet elsewhere in the temple?"
She notices "Kyra" drinking from the font. "Interesting idea. Conjuration magic, so it may be beneficial."

"Clues elsewhere may be a good idea. I remember we were told that our knowledge of the God will be tested. What do you think, Malark? What test might this be?"

Malark feels invigorated after drinking from the font.
temporary hit points: 2d8 ⇒ (2, 5) = 7 and +2 to skill checks made in the bastion for 24 hours.
Malark also realizes that the helmet is bound to the font through some sort of ritual.
The ritual has a few steps:
1. Knowledge religion or disable device to start unravelling the vines.
2. then a disable device of Knowledge history or knowledge religion which will gets you past a fail safe which takes about 10 minutes.

Pleas feel free to move me with the group on the map, the last few days the map has been overzised and when I move it around the characters stay in the same spot, thus ending in different spots. Does it at work and home. Not sure what's up with that. :)
