Worst case scenario? Me and Silar guard the party while Rosslyn and Dieredon sneak off into the wilds and attempt to steal a potion or two back from Lucien and his crew...
This option is highly dangerous tho... you'd have to be savvy with either hit and run, or judicious use of that curveblade and Rosslyn's backstab...
We need to invest in better armour for Wesh lol...

Don't think anyones dying now, just not getting worse... a search of the house could reveal some tasties, but there could be traps as well...
Again we could move all the fallen inside, then conduct a search... Am worried these feckers might come back at us, even the Task or Scoutmaster, an archer and a brawn could be more than we could handle.
What's everyone else's thoughts?
Skäne “Countless” Ingvârssonn
If they are coming back we need to get everyone up, healed and prepared quickly. He may be rustling up some of those lesser bandit gangs that we ran into early in this adventure...
Am thinking that perhaps Bjorn would be best left dead? Seems a more fitting end for him that to have him just wander off later[given his shield brother and "wife" are part of the company]
Not sure your thoughts?

I agree that is why you should get me back up.

@Wesh: I am working on it - I think I just did. Got you 3HP back - can you stand and start healing? If not, I will give you another dose from one of the clay pots. Give us your status in the game thread.

Posting from work currently, on-call and in-between cases. Just want to have a small poll here, which character levels do you all like the most? Low, medium or high?
Dieredon D'atarisian
I really prefer medium level characters the most. Oce you get too high, overpowered characters are too unrealistic, if that makes sense. Also, low level characters are ok, but lack interesting skills to survive the simplest of encounters. Levels 4-7 are optimal.

I prefer medium as well. Though I have rarely played a high level game, but fear that the excess amount of power might be difficult on a PbP. It seems to me that every time I get about 3rd or 4th level, the characters and encounters start to get interesting, but the campaigns die. Basically I agree with Dieredon.
DM randall793
If the medium levels are preferred then we are in agreement. I was thinking to switch to a different xp track once we hit the interesting levels ie level 3 and above.
Then things would get a little grittier which is not too hard to do on pbp due to lots of time and less on the spot decisions.

Gang - I'm torn regards the best course of action. My concern is yeah we follow Lucien, but his men seem much more suited to outdoor combat than many of our group... Half orc brawn, taskmaster, scoutmaster, archers and Lucien himself.
We have to presume they'll regroup and heal up as we are...
However he's got no spellcasters now... ;)
Dieredon D'atarisian
It all depends on how long it has actually been since he got away. If it has been less than 30 minutes, I say we get them now while the numbers are not so uneven.
Wesh Velker
are you sure we can track them fast enough to catch up to them. If they are hustling out of here we may have problems catching up to them. Also Betony Rianna and I will level up after a night of rest.
What were the half orc brawn wearing? Also we will be traveling through wilderness and a random encounter and then Lucien would really stress the party.

What EXP should I start at?
Sorry I haven't posted much lately folks. Been super busy remodeling the house and running PFS for a convention. I should be better now that the remodeling is in clean up mode and the convention is done.

As its getting darker gang we need to decide if we're staying put for the night or making for somewhere else?
The mansion is probably defendable on one floor or a few rooms, but not the whole thing. Likewise if there are any hidden entry to the place we could be overrun pretty quick...
Thoughts? If Lucien Redhair comes back [or sends cronies] its likely they'll be many of them...
DM randall793
After a full night's rest you receive 1 hit point per level on awakening, double if a healer tended to your wounds before resting. If you leveled up, add in the new hit points in and make the new total you new hit points.
eg. 4/10 hp on resting, leveled up getting 6 hp out of a 1d8 hd. Waking up to a new hp of 12/16.
