Marco Vail wrote:
Inside the crypt, he follows Selter to the first alcove. (This is the nw alcove with the slaves in it, yes?) He ducks next to cage and whispers, "Shh. We can help you. Are you okay? Can you tell us if there's anything or anybody in here?"

My bad, I changed the orientation of the map and not the text... That should be the NE corner... adjusted positions accordingly.

Selter detects no magical auras. As you approach one of the slaves in the cage catches sight of you and quickly waves his hands before him shaking his head no. He jerks his head directly in front of him, and before you can really understand his meaning, you hear a gruff female voice grumble.

"What are you looking at slave? Still looking for that skelly that took a swipe at you?" You hear the shuffle of approaching boots and prepare to meet their owner. A half-orc armed with a club steps out and sees you, hollering to his companions, "We've got company!" He draws his club and readies an attack for any who come toward him. The voices of his companions rise to try and demoralize the intruders."You want to turn back if you value your lives!" a male voice shouts, "Or face your internment in the Crypt of Fools!" But their blustering fails to move the stalwart Pathfinders.

COMBAT OVER! Yay!
I will get your last map up shortly.

You release the captives and the woman of the pair clutches at Marco as she describes the monster, her eyes unfocused as she recounts the horror of her memory.
"You must beware the thing below! T'is a terrible thing, like one of these mummified bodies, except it's up and walking around and shouting orders. It's got terrible teeth and... and... I think it's been eating the people they bring down to it. We never see them again, but a fresh, bloody skeleton is added to their ranks soon after!"

Her companion pats her back as he describes the layout. "It's a long narrow hall of burial niches that doubles back on itself before leading to a chamber 15 feet wide. That's where they stay."

Selter looks over the bodies in the sarcophagi and discovers a gleaming scimitar lay next to the occupant of one. He also notes one that looks like a good subject for taking a specimen for studying the embalming process, should anyone be interested in such a thing.

The weary Cassomirites look with trepidation in the direction you describe, but harden their features as they steel themselves with the journey. "We can find it. They keep us in darkness much of the time, but we have a sense of the layout all the same. Be careful Pathfinders, and thank you!"

You descend the steps into the Undercrypt below and find yourselves in a narrow passageway surrounded by countless ornate burial niches which adorn the passage walls. The quiet hangs over this place like a death shroud. In the passage’s southwest corner, shattered niches reveal a massive set of iron double doors. An image carved on the doors depicts a dispassionate figure holding a gibbous moon.

I completely forgot your new map last night, but it is updated now. You can still take actions before proceeding like *hint* healing.

Selter opens the door revealing the room beyond. A purple glow washes over this cold chamber, creating an otherworldly sheen. A large desk adorns the south wall; behind it's oaken bulk hangs a large map of Cassomir. Straw-lined cages line the chamber’s east and west walls. In the center of the room, resting on a small pedestal, a black rock absorbs the chamber’s bright torch light.

Behind the great desk waits a terribly familiar figure, Dalirio Teppish, his features twisted in undeath into a predatory snarl. He locks eyes on the intruders. Eyes filled with a malevolent intelligence and hateful recognition.
"You! I hoped it would be you. Look upon my transformation and tremble, dogs of Cassomir! Behold, my love! Our vengeance is at hand."
Dalirio extends a twisted claw and the skeletons respond by turning in that direction. One of them wears a tattered bridal veil, tacked directly to it's bare skull like a morbid mockery of matrimony.

Jorag nodded, though he did not seem happy about the fact. "Kurgess' glory does indeed burn the foul undead, but I do not think it will avail us much." He leaned out to look how the combat was developing. "I may be old, but I am yet but an initiate. Most of my years were spent performing simple cantrips in the arena." He leaned back into cover. "It would likely do very little. I should much rather use it to heal."

He suddenly snapped a finger, looking decidedly more optimistic. "My spells are however unable to affect the undead, but suppose I turned it into healing energies. That should surely have an effect."

The pedestal holding the stone does not impede movement, though it is firmly secured to the floor and can’t be casually knocked over. For BoL to be usable on Selter's initiative, it would have to have been a pre-round 1 action or Selter would have to delay til after Jorag's turn. I've opted for the second option, let me know if I misinterpreted.

The ranged attacks all miss their marks, but fortunately the skeletons prove no more accurate at the claw wildly at Sithiss, one getting caught up behind the other and unable to reach. "Not much to tell." Jorag replied from his hiding spot. "Undead are wounded by positive energy like that of a healing wand, healed by negative energy instead. Skeletons succumb to blunt implements."

He scowled at the former Teppish man. "As for our deceased friend here, dont let him bite you. Diseases you see."

Taking my turn, shouldnt be affected by what the others do.

Squeezing past Unapp to stand besides Mujenbai, Jorag raised his hands as best he could in the tight quarters, calling upon Kurgess.

"Mighty Kurgess, these creatures had their chance and lost. Do not let this perverse attempt at cheating go unpunished!"

As he finished, a shower of motes filled the air, much like they had during Jorags previous channels. However seconds later, they all converged on the undead, striking them like a swarm of diminutive meteors.

Sithiss could potentially move [i]through[/] the bars of the cages, but she's the only one that could pass those squares.

Mujenbai draws his Shoanti Bola and spins it over his head making an eerie whistling sound. He throws it at one of the skeletons and sends it crashing into a pile of bones. He then steps back to make room for Jorag

The lead skeleton seems somewhat harmed by Jorag's channel, but Dalirio himself seems completely unaffected.

Jorag:
You recognize that this is definitely the late Dalirio Teppish, raised by unholy power into an undead monster, specifically a ghoul. Disturbingly, he seems to have retained his focused zeal and fervor rather than succumb to the blinding hunger that affects most of these undead. However, Jorag is certain he still carries and can infect others with the dreaded ghoul fever.

With little else to do, Marco picks up his crossbow and loads another bolt.

Sithiss' powerful strike sends the last skeleton crumbling to the stone floor, confirming her master's words. With the way now clear, Mujenbai gives Unapp the attack command. The nimble little dinosaur zips down the hall and even though he nearly seems to trip, makes an effortless leap onto Dalirio's desk and proceeds to bite and slash at the ghoulish cleric. With no room to step back from the fierce raptor's claws, Dalirio clutches his holy symbol and sends out a wave of negative energy. (Everyone saved for 1 damage except Selter, who takes the full 2... oh noes!)

It looks like Marco was more than 30' from Dalirio. Was he still caught in the channel?

Marco fires another bolt at Teppish and drops his crossbow again. He reaches into his pack and pulls out a scroll.
