Devin carefully walks into the water to try and save his fellow student.

Whispering back, "Yes, I was training to be a doctor." He puts down his broom and looking over the girls he sees a small wound on Elly's leg. He pulls off his backpack as he says, "Elly that knick needs to be cleaned and bandaged, hold on so I can take care of it." He then goes and washes his gloves and takes them off. After washing his hands he pulls out the first aid kit and grabs one of the discarded pieces of clothing to wet to clean her wound dabbing it with the wet clothes, then he says, "Bite down on something so you dont scream." Using some hydrogen peroxide to fully clean it out before putting gauze then medical tape to secure it.

Round 3
The boy gets support from Devin and stands with his aid. Holding each other they begin to progress back 10 feet just out of reach from the crawlers. The other five stay just out of the water ready to help. The other four come out and go down the opposite way to support the other bruiser. He knocks another one down and begins to back peddle.

Round 4
Devin and the boy get out of the water, unless Devin wants to do something else., with the help of the other five retreat back to the entrance of your room.

At the other end of the hallway the zombies and students are engaging in combat. The students are not doing so well.

She will exit out after the bruisers. She then inspire each of them.

Round 4
She inspired another of the students fighting, "Come on Sven, you can do it! Aim for the head."

Looking the other direction she begins to lead again, "Yes good, now get to the edge of the water and bash in any zombies that crawl to you!"


Quinn's story

Elly nods her head and whispers, "Yeah that is a pretty big gash, got it sliding past one of the walls. Please do take care of it." Uh, ya, that was Edwardo, the a$$hole, I hit him because he kept shoving me and saying 'protect me, protect me.' We could see if it is safe and pull him, but I advise against it he is a coward and full of sh!t. He thought he knew everything and that we would be fine in the parking lot with all those zombies. I am the only one who survived." She stops as she puts a piece of clothing in her mouth, then doing her best not to make too much noise as the hydrogen peroxide hit her wound. A few strangled groans later she takes the clothing out of her mouth grabs Matthew by the top of his apron and pulls him in for a quick kiss before pushing him back. With a shrug she says, "I always promised myself I wouldnt get hurt by a guy, I would either punch him or kiss him. Since the world has gone to h€ll, and you meant well, you got the second option."

Settling down from the pain she asks, "What now?"

After the kiss and the shove he falls to the ground and waits a few moments to recognize what had just happened. He slowly got up and replied, "Kill 'em, one by one. Find resources and weapons. Then find a place we can hole up within. We have security here, water, toilets, and some food."


Maki's Story - Round 4

Seeing Sensei and Maki fail the rest of the students scatter but one. The other white goth kid in school, he comes running down the stairs and slams into Akira, switchblade now sticking out of her skull. 2 zombies left. Haruto swings again smacking it but apparently having no effect, the zombies fight with you but don't get any good holds yet. Sensei takes a step back, bends down and picks up the broom. After a deep breath he swings and hits but only hits its shoulder.

Screams start coming from the stairwell and beyond.

Maki you see that Dominique, the white goth, has been bitten several times, he was not in with your class this morning but he is here now.

Quinn nods, intently listening to Elly’s story. Quinn whispers, “I completely understand Elly. Edwardo sounds like a dick. If you two are comfortable with it, I vote we try to secure the gym from additional zombies wandering into the school… and I know you two may be opposed to it – for moral or ethical b%!%@%@! – but I vote we kill Edwardo with an arrow to the eye socket and use him as bait to distract the zombies. There’s no room for cowards in this world.”

If Matthew is opposed, Quinn will whisper annoyed: “You want to protect someone who hurt Elly? Fine! But he’s your responsibility, got it?”

If the two agree to killing Edwardo, Quinn gives them instructions, whispering:

”Matthew, if you’ll kindly unlock and open the door as quietly as possible, I’ll have my bow nocked and ready to point-blank shoot Edwardo in the eye. From less than a foot away it should be an easy kill. Elly, if you would move his body so it’s face up lying on the floor I’ll take my shot.” Does Quinn need to roll to hit and for damage to kill someone unconscious with a bow?

Still whispering: ”How many zombies were in the gym when we last checked? 12? It would be best to shoot as many as possible with ranged weapons before going in with melee – unless you two are comfortable with melee? If we each kill about 4 we should be free to secure the room... by the way - I only have eight arrows left.” Quinn pauses for a moment, "Maybe nine arrows if the one I shot in the hallway didn't break when I missed."

I think I may require a map if there are 12+ zombies in the gym. Especially if there are obstacles like bleachers or a basket of sports equipment.

Quinn waits for Matthew to slowly and quietly unlock and open the door leading to the gym. Her bow is nocked and a spare arrow is in her mouth. She looks for immediate dangers while Elly lays Edwardo down (or drags him inside the girl's locker room if Matthew is opposed to killing Edwardo.)

"No! Dont run! S%*%!" Maki shouts,. She nods her head in thanks at the goth kid who moved to help her, lining up an uppercut that would knock another man's head off and delivering it to the nearest zombie.

Maki's Story
Round 4
Maki slams the zombie and she stumbles back but the zombie comes back not hurt enough to go down.

Round 5
Dominique whispers with anger in his voice, "Only hit the head, that seems to be their weak spot. And keep it down, sound attracts them more than anything else." With that said the zombie girl going after Make goes after him and the other zombie goes after her missing Maki entirely with its flail. Dom sidesteps to let the zombie get close then shoves his blade up under the chin, dropping another. Sensei and Haruto both aim for the head now but miss, gaining Maki's luck. Reo continues to spasm and writhe on the floor. 1 zombie left.

"Bait sounds like a great idea, but why kill him? This is survival time, and bait sounds like a plus to me. Lets see if he is alive, if so we duct tape his hands together and his mouth. I don't want to hear what this dick wants to say and he doesn't get a chance to play mind tricks. If there are more than a dozen in the gym we will probably not do so well." He whispers back with his own idea. "But if you really want to kill him, don't let me stop you. I trust what Elly said."

He opens the door and bolt as silently as he can. Then holds the door so the others can move as needed.

Quinn's Story

Elly leaves the badmitton racket behind and with the bat in her other hand she pokes her head out, prods Edwardo, no movement, she steps out and grabs his leg to bring him into the locker room with one hand.

The scene out in the gym is not that promising. Blood marks on the floor and the bleachers on the other side of the gym. 3 zombies within 30 feet which all begin to shamble towards you. Another 8 within 50 feet. Another 2 within 60 feet. Another 3 within 70 feet. Another 2 within 90 feet. On the far side of the gym there is a pile of bodies and at least another 6 zombies feasting. Next to them there are open doors, on the West side of the gym. On the South side of the gym one of the doors is busted down. You are on the East side of the gym.

Now we are getting serious here comes the gym.

Quinn nods, whispering ”I like your idea better. Duck tape him up once Elly gets him inside.” Quinn directs her attention back to the door, ready to shoot.

Quinn's stomach does a little flip when she sees three zombies approaching the door. S%%!. We can't lose this positioning!

When Elly is out of the way, Quinn shoots at one of the three zombies 30 feet away shambling towards them, she aims for an eye. She doesn't want the zombies who had noticed them to break down and destroy the door. Their current positioning wasn't great.

After firing the arrow, Quinn takes a 5 foot step back, removing the second arrow from her mouth and nocking it. Quinn whispers in a hiss: ”Elly! Can you bash one?!”

Quinn aims at another one of the other slowly approaching zombie's and shoots, aiming for the eye.

Quinn's Story

Zombies normally move at normal speed, 6 squares but only one move or standard action per turn.

Round 1
Elly stealthily moves out and along the wall to bash in the head of the one not in Quinn's direct sight. She is able to bring it down but with a loud cracking sound as she smashes its head against the wall. Quinn deftly aims her bow and the first arrow hitting the zombie in the throat but it seems to have dropped it the same. The second arrow whizzes through the air and hits the mark dropping the other zombie. Matt slips past you Quinn and gets on the other side of the door ready with his bladed broomstick. One comes close enough for him to stab it and aims for the head, a good hit but not enough damage.
6 zombies hear and move in to claim brains.

Round 2
Elly swings for the crowd and smashes the closest zombie and it skids back a few feet. Matt swings again for the same zombie and this time it crumples to the floor. The zombies that heard move in and the others begin to move in as well.

Round 3
Elly takes her swing but just not enough umph in it to drop the bugger. Matt takes on a defensive stance aiming to knock away grabbing hands. Full Defense Elly then turns and goes for the door but as she gets there the one to her left slams into her and grabs her.

Quinn's heart clenches as she sees a zombie try to grab Elly. No! Quinn removes an arrow, nocks it, and aims for the brain-area of the zombie slamming into Elly.

Quinn takes a 5 foot step back and shoots.

Round 3
Quinn lets the arrow fly and with great luck it strikes the forehead of the thing, dropping it to the floor before it even takes a strong hold on her. The zombies surge forward. Matt takes a slam but deflects most of it. You hear a Uph!

Round 4

Elly gets into the locker room and gets ready to slam the door shut once Matt is through. Matt dodges the last adjacent zombies attack and quickly gets into the locker room. Then they both put their weight into the door, Matt latching the lock, back into the door just in case. There are alot of thuds on the other side of the door.

End of Combat

Elly keeps her back on the door as well until the thumping stops. Then she goes over to Ed and makes sure the duct tape is secure taking some more and securing his feet to each other before securing them to the bottom of one of the benches. A large lump can be seen on the side of his face.

He shakes his head and holds the door. Once the thumping stops and goes away for at least a few minutes he then walks away from the door. Sitting down with Quinn and Elly he whispers tiredly, "At least the door did not dimple or break down. I saw that earlier today. A beast of a zombie, luckily I had the bonesaw ready."

Dann it! We put our lives in danger for a coward. Quinn scowls angrily at the door. She whispers: ”We're probably not safe in this room anymore. There were only two zombies in the hall. Maybe we can regroup in the boy's locker room?”

If Elly and Matthew are amiable to moving:

Quinn picks up the duffel bag and hands it to Elly, whispering: “Can you sling this over your shoulder? It has food.” Quinn draws an arrow and nocks it. She nods at Matthew to open the door.

Elly grabs the duffel, hands her badmitton racket to Matt and leads the way. Out the door she quietly moves. Matt slings on his backpack, grabs his broom and the racket. Flipping off the bound unconcious Ed he follows quietly.

Quinn takes down the only zombie in sight. There might be a few arrows to recover. The boys locker room is locked. Matt takes his broom and raps on it two times then three more. No response even after a few minutes.

Looking out the window you can see a good 50 zombies in the courtyard.

Maki listens to the new guy, though she doesn't understand how he knows about all this. She performs a snap kick to the last zombies head. She tries to keep it quiet, but is starting to panic with how Reo's thrashing around is freaking her out.

So are we supposed to go by the 1st floor map now? If so, are 12 and 13 the gym map you drew?

Quinn looks at the floor for the arrow that missed earlier. She sees it and picks it up.

Quinn smiles, feeling like she just won a small victory. Yes! It’s not broken! Although... there were 2 zombies in this hallway... I wonder where the other one meandered off to? Did someone kill it?

Quinn looks up after picking up the undamaged arrow and whispers to Matthew and Elly, “You think we should try the security room or return to the girl’s locker room? The security room might have monitors over the whole school. We can see who’s still alive. Thoughts?”

Quinn looks back, seeing if there are any zombies meandering behind them near the girl’s locker room. Swapping places with the boy on the far end of the line swings at the zombie.

Maki's Story

Round 5
Dominique smashes his blade down into Reo's eye socket and the thrashing stops. The other two swing with their brooms as the zombie flails at Maki. At least the luck is spread out.

Round 6
The two with brooms sweep to the side and both connect at the same time. Doing damage and stunning the zombie, Dominique takes a jab but misses giving flanking to Maki. The zombie swings but over throws the attack and spins to the ground provoking AoOs. More misses from the boys but perhaps Maki can finish it off. Only 3 hp left.


Trio story

Round 6
The two students to Devin's right get grappled by the zombies. Devin swings in and slams into the zombies chest staggering it back doing some damage but it comes right back at him. The zombie in front of him, a bloody corpse of a young girl, dead eyes, and many bite marks on her body rakes Devins arms and hands before he can pull back.

Round 7
The boys are able to throw off the zombies as the others continue the fight.


Quinn's Story
Yes 12 and 13 would be where the gym from the fight was. The two STs above are the boys and girls locker rooms respectively. There is a hallway all around the complex where you are located now.

Elly and Matthew agree, to the security room. We can always retreat back if needed.

Quinn nods, lifting one side of her mouth in a smile. She is pleased at how brave and resilient Matthew and Elly are. Quinn felts like she can depend on the two of them for support and Quinn plans on protecting them as best she can.

After surveying the area with a Nat. 20 +7 Perception roll, Quinn whispers and points at spots to watch out for as they make it to the security room. Quinn makes sure the girl's locker room door is closed - but not locked - before following Matthew and Elly. Quinn's bow nocked with one of her 6 remaining arrows.

Elly puts down the bag as Matthew hands her the badminton racket, then Matthew tries the door. But it is locked. The two of them look to you Quinn.

Maki takes down the last zombie with a decisive blow. The four of you take a moment to catch your breaths. Dominique makes sure the last zombie is dead by plunging his knife into its head, afterwards wiping it on its bloodied clothing and sits down opposite of the three of you in the hallway. Haruto sighs and looks bothered even more by the situation. Sensei tears off some clothing from Reo to make a makeshift bandage, he looks at the three of you and shakes his head before saying, "I am sorry I could not keep you safe. I am alright, it is just a bite.

At the mention of that Haruto snaps awake, "Wait, you have been bitten, so has him, you will turn, Maki we need to leave them!"

5 students with Devin vs 7 zombies.

The students throw off the zombies taking more defensive stances and doing their best to help each other. The zombie girl slams into Devin knocking into him and leaving a few gashing wounds. She has a hold on him grabbing his chest more than anything else and trying to bite.

Electra you do aid Devin, but how exactly, giving him a bonus on Defense? +2 then.

5 students with Devin vs 6 zombies.

Unless something can happen Devin fights with the zombie and she is able to bite him. The boys around are fighting the best they can the one that Devin took his place luckily comes over and swings his club taking out the zombie from behind.

Some of the fellow students land good blows and take down another of the zombies. Devin you have no immediate threat to you. There are still 5 zombies in the hall.

From the other end of the hall you hear murmuring and clapping. If you look back you see them giving each other high fives.

Still examining the lock, Quinn whispers "Matthew, did you try knocking on the door?"

Quinn gets on her hands and knees, placing her head on the floor, trying to see if there are feet inside. If there is blood on the floor that could get on Quinn's hands, legs, or head Quinn doesn't get on the floor to look.

Devin moves to the next zombie and swings for the fence.

The lock appears to be just a door lock. Though tapping one of the tiles on the side reveals an electronic paddlock.

Matthew shakes his head to indicate 'no'. He waits until after you check under the door to see what you can see. A rubber seal makes it sure no one can see into the security room.
