November 1, the day after Halloween. Many of the students have a sugar hang over. The teachers are dreading the Monday back from the Sunday holiday this year. Everything seems like a normal day. Even in this prestigious school there are many normal simple days.

The bell rings to remind everyone to get back to their home rooms.

The snobby Student Body President comes on the intercom to greet everyone and the normal announcements commence.

Everyone in their homeroom, or are some being late?:

If all are in their homerooms:
Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16 Quinn Crowe
Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12 Devin Cerrone
Perception: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (8) - 1 = 7 Kimura Maki
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14 Electra Felictas von Tannhausen
Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 Lizzette 'Lizzy' Dwerambore
Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18

GM note:
This announcement is for all students, an emergency situation is happening in the school right now. All students are to follow their teacher's instructions and remain in your classroom. I repeat an emergency situation is happening in the school right now... Euughhha!... Aaaaah.... .... Aaaaahhh... Help, Help!.... ....

She enjoys the limo today riding up to the front gate. Once there her minions greet her with smiles and adoration. She walks in like she owns the school with two minions on either side and some lackeys following behind with their bags. They stop in the cafeteria to mock some students then go up to her private lounge next door to her homeroom until the bell rings. Then her minions and lackeys disperse, leaving Lizzy with only Mino. In her homeroom she sits down on the sofa she had brought in at the beginning of the school year. She looked at the slightly sun bleached leather on the arm closest to the windows and sneered. "Mino make a reminder that we need to reapolster this dingy sofa. Perhaps a cat print and fur this time." She pulls out her I pad and begins looking at the listing of who is "hot or not" at school.

Before Homeroom:
Before the morning bell, a platinum blonde sits under a tree in the school yard. Her lips are painted dark red and thick black eyeliner frames her eyes. She's sitting cross-legged and appears to be reading Country Gardens while sipping something out of a thermos. Beside her, there's a longbow (perhaps for Archery Club) leaning against the tree. She's wearing the school uniform, but she appears to be new at school. You don't recognize her but she may look familiar from a local convenience store or perhaps the train.

If you approach her within 5 feet, she looks up and frowns. The smell of coffee wafts out of the thermos, mixing with the morning air. "Vhat?" she lifts an eyebrow, expecting a question. If you stay at least 10 feet away, she doesn't look up and ignores you.

----------

When the school bell rings, Quinn tightly screws on the lid of her thermos and neatly packs it and her Country Gardens magazine into her backpack. Quinn has to remove the bundle of arrows from her backpack momentarily to rearrange items.

She slings her backpack over her shoulder before picking up her bow and heading inside the school building. Quinn switches her shoes at her locker (like the rest of her peers) before heading up to 3-C, her homeroom.

Quinn sits at her desk near the back by a window. Her bow is leaning on the back wall of the classroom behind her. Quinn isn’t the first person in the classroom but she isn’t the last either. She cups her chin in her palm and sighs, looking out the window. She wished school was over already so she could go to her favorite extracurricular activity: Archery club.

----------

The bell rang again signaling the start of homeroom. Quinn draws her gaze from the window to observe Sensei. Sensei Madoka finishes writing on the board while the two class leaders of 3-C take attendance and make announcements. Quinn zones out through most of it. The student taking attendance calls Quinn’s name. ”Ves,” Quinn’s response is curt and uninterested.

Usually the most popular and smart students got elected as class representatives and Quinn didn’t fit the mold. Quinn doodles in her notebook. Her left hand holds her pen while her right hand is threaded through her hair, right elbow propped on her desk. From this position, Quinn could avoid any eye contact with the other students.

Suddenly, Quinn hears an announcement through the ceiling speakers:

GM Wolf wrote:
"This announcement is for all students, an emergency situation is happening in the school right now. All students are to follow their teacher's instructions and remain in your classroom. I repeat an emergency situation is happening in the school right now... Euughhha!... Aaaaah.... .... Aaaaahhh... Help, Help!.... ...."

Quinn looks out the window into the courtyard for anything unusual.

Perception (looking out window): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16

If she sees unusual behavior outside:

Quinn stands up, her sudden movement knocking over her chair. Instinctively she swings her backpack over her shoulder and reaches for her bow. Quinn assesses the situation. The classroom has 3 exits: the sliding front doors, the sliding rear doors, and the windows. The windows were the least preferable of the three because the classroom was on the second level. In addition, the windows were closed because of the cool Fall air.

While Quinn was identifying possible threats out the window, her Sensei and some of her classmates had begun barricading the doors with desks and chairs. The front sliding doors already had Sensei's desk and 2 student desks on it. The sliding doors at the back of the classroom looked less protected.

Sensei Madoka gives out instructions while some students carry over desks. Other students seem frozen in a mixture of fear and panic.

"Get up or you'll be late for school," Devin heard his mother say from down the hall, "I'll be working late tonight so you are on your own for dinner, breakfast is on the table, be safe on that death trap you ride around on, and I love you."

"Love you too," he replied just before he heard the door shut. Devin quickly ate his breakfast and was out the door. For some reason traffic was awful today but being on a motorcycle made things easier. Arriving at the school just before the gates closed, the parking lot was empty of people. Devin parked his bike and walked through the doors just to hear student body president Dorky McDingus finish his announcements.

About 15 minutes into Homeroom another Announcement comes on, the man seems likely one of the teachers but his breath is ragged and stressed, "This announcement is for all students, an emergency situation is happening in the school right now. All students are to follow their teacher's instructions and remain in your classroom. I repeat an emergency situation is happening in the school right now... Euughhha!... Aaaaah.... .... Aaaaahhh... Help, Help!.... ...."

A few of the teachers have sense enough to take control of their classrooms like Sensei Madoka and keep the students calm and begin to barricade their room as if a shooter were to come onto the school property.

Quinn:
Looking out you can see some students running from... is that teachers! Teachers covered in blood and... Oh dear, grabbed, bitten, and all the blood! You have time to slip out the back exit before the next action happens down below, where do you head?

Though most were not so sensible after hearing what they thought was a teacher being killed, and not with a gun but something much worse. Then the groans didn't help either. Sheer panic takes over most of the school and students begin mobbing to get out. Many students are trampled to death and many more are hurt. The halls are full of moving bodies. Some with more malevolent intent.

Better late than Dead
He woke up to his alarm and looked at the time in surprise. Yelling to himself, "I'M LATE!!! I'M LATE!!!"

He had stayed up late last night playing a new release role playing game on his computer but now he was paying for it in more ways than he ever could imagine. A quick shower, microwave a quick breakfast, as the water got warm, throw on his uniform and gulp, chew, chew, gulp, the breakfast sandwich was gone and he was out the door and on his bike. Pedaling as fast as he could he was surprised to find the streets nearly deserted. He know that the gates would be closed so he would have to cut through the woods behind the school. He had done it several times and it had cut minutes off his travel time.

The woods seemed even more eerie than normal but he didn't know why. He got to the run down temple that acted as a go between the woods and the school and he dismounted his bike. Locking it to the bike rack and running into school.

Sliding to a stop he shook his head thinking, 'Am I dreaming? Did I play that zombie game too much?' He pinches himself and it hurts and sees the walking bloody wounded bodies. There was holes in these people's bodies that should have them dead and bled out on the ground. He started to take a few steps back away from the scene but then realized that the temple was filled with the walking corpses too. He ran, and ran, and ran. Avoiding the grasping hands until he was inside.

Then he began to assess holding his briefcase in front of him. Blood smeared the floor and walls but no bodies were around, dead or walking. He stopped to open a cracked door and quickly slammed it shut for a mob of them were within. He ran to the end found a locked door and simply knocked. If no reply he continues heading towards the morgue...

Maki is 20 minutes early to class and is one of the first students to be seated. Her spot, about midway in the homeroom near the window, is kept immaculately clean.

When the announcement comes through the speakers, Maki's hand comes to her chest as she looks up at the speaker, almost as if by staring through it, she could see the scene as it played out on the microphone. When Sensei Madoka starts giving orders, she leaps to follow them, being one of the first to get desks propped up into the barricade. When the barricade fails and falls to the panicking crowd, Maki tries to shout a few of the students into sticking together and moving in a coordinated fashion.

She hasn't seen the bloody tableau below, but is trying to apply her self-learned military know-how to getting her classmates to stick together and move in a coordinated fashion.

"No! We need to stick together! Just running around now will create more chaos!" She clenches her fists in frustration, and dashes over to the classroom's cleaning closet to grab any brooms and mops. She'll shove them into the hands of any students that look composed and at least partially competent. "Here. We may need these to hold back students."

Between Sensei Madoka, brother of the other Sensei Madoka in 3-C, and Maki, let alone other cool headed students in the room, the barricade actually does hold up initially. Taking the supplies from the closet to arm students helps the classroom's morale and they seem ready to keep others out that much more.

Quinn curses aloud in German, ”Scheisse!” Teachers are covered in blood and students are running scared outside. Quinn can’t assess whether it’s safer inside or outside. The sheer noise inside the school makes her head hurt and Quinn finds it difficult to think with all the commotion.

Kimura Maki wrote:

Quinn predicts that the desks won’t be enough to permanently stop a determined intruder so she slips out the back sliding door of 3-C with her bow and backpack. “I am not zaying here to die,” Quinn grits to her classmates. Quinn’s German accent is more pronounced as she calls over her shoulder. ”If you are smart get ze vuck out too.” Some of her words are clearly pronounced while others are hard to understand.

Escape Artist: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20

Quinn slips out of the classroom and into the panicked crowd.

Quinn’s destination is the gym locker room for her tennis shoes. Her school shoes wouldn’t get her far if she had to run. Being 8-something in the morning during what normally was Homeroom, Quinn deduced that the girls' locker room should be fairly untouched. If it's a gunman he'll have no reason to go into the locker rooms.

Acrobatics (Movement through crowd) : 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 18 (If needed.)

-----------

If Quinn makes it to the girls' locker room:

Quinn attempts to act stealthily inside the locker room. Her goal is to get her shoes and get out of the hectic school. Maybe go hide somewhere quiet. With snacks. Oh yes, lots of snack and peace and quiet.

Stealth: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21

Hopefully with all the uproar, Quinn will go largely unnoticed while her louder peers distract whatever assailant(s) are inside the building. After retrieving her tennis shoes and gym outfit, Quinn ties on her gym shoes and stuffs her ugly school shoes and gym outfit into her backpack. Quinn thinks standing up to access her locker again might attract unwanted attention.

Crouching and with her bow in hand, Quinn takes a look around the girl’s locker room for anything she may not have spotted upon first entering.

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11

It’s probably too risky to go out the front so I’ll have to leave out the back way.

At this point does Quinn understand who (or what) the assailants on the school are or will there need to be an encounter first?

My next post probably won't be for 14 - 18 hours so I wanted to include a larger chunk.

Devin was nearing his classroom as the second announcement came overhead.

Briefly frozen while he listened to the screams for help. Students began to pour out of their rooms and turn into a stampede once panic set in. A girl was pushed to the ground with a sickening thud. This all snapped Devin back to reality, he shoved a few students out of his way and grab the girl and pushed his way into the closest classroom 2-A.

Quinn was lucky that she was quietly moving around the locker room and even more that she stayed crouched. Looking over the locker she can see a blood smeared girl walking around. You likely feel the impulse to go help her out but a second later she turns and you can see half of her face is missing. No living creature would be walking with such severe wounds... it likely dawns on Quinn that this is something really bad.

Getting to the outside door will require you to leave the locker room, either into the gym or out into the hallways. But there only seems to be one threat at the moment.

_____

Devin the girl likely has several broken bones in one of her arms and a head wound that just won't stop bleeding. The teacher in 2-A is in shock and no use to help anyone, she just sobs at her desk. To Devin's shock he sees Lizzy in control of the room. The door slams shut behind you as two students that were behind the door put their shoulders into it. Other students are moving desks to secure the doorways under Lizzy's direction from her sofa. Mino standing attentively beside the sofa.

In room 2-A, the teacher is worthless and she steps up to the plate to command.

Devin and the girl with him are the last to enter her domain without her consent and continues with her shouting tirade to whip these fools into proper vessels, "Who here has some medical training, Seisko. Yes, you help Devin bring that girl over to the corner and do what you can. Good job boys, keep piling those desks, the more we have as an obstacle the better for whatever may be out there or what may want to get in. Yes, good think you had your multitool Sven. Keep taking the legs off the desks, those do seem to be great clubs. We have two brooms, best to keep those as deflectors of intruders, who here is the strongest? It would be best that they have the brooms. Yes okay you two and stay near the door to aggravate anything else that comes through that door." She continues to praise those doing jobs and instructing the rest that likely have no clue what to do right now. She is now standing and directing with her cane. Her sofa next to the window but she is in the middle of the room watching every movement. Mino standing next to her like a servant waiting for an order.

GM Wolf, I’ll be your combat guinea pig. Is a map needed?

Quinn nearly gasps out loud when she sees a girl who should be dead from her head injury, walking around alive. Is she… a zombie? This can’t be happening. Oh god… is she a fast of a slow zombie? Quinn has seen a handful of zombie films but the zombies differ from film to film.

She looks around but only detects one threat: the creepy girl.

Stealth (maneuver arrows silently): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16

Quinn removes two arrows from her backpack. She holds one arrow in her mouth and nocks the other in her bow. She aims for the girl's eyesocket. At the right angle, the arrow could pierce her brain. At minimum, hinder her sight, Quinn reasons.

To Hit: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15 (Link: Surprise Round)

Compound bow (Archaic): 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 (Piercing damage)

Initiative: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (5) + 0 = 5 Oh geez. Zombie girl probably goes first!

It was a regular morning. Alarmclock, shower, breakfast, mail to daddy, check if all was fine for school, it was always and go to school. Saying hallo to Matsu-san. Arriving at class 2-A, sitting at her table, reading a small yellow book, it was a classical play from camus, la pest, she was waiting for the class to begin.
Then the loudspeaker began to give his announcement and hell brought loose.
Within seconds, the drill came back. Every kid at the embassy had taken it by heart. Quite. Pack your stuff. Check that you ready. Leave uneccessary items behind that could slow you down.
Call the detail. Be ready to run. No heroics.
Silent she took care all important items were in her backpack and books and other items out. That her backpack was perfectly aligned on her back. Then she started to text hee father, than Ludwig, the 40 something head of the detail. Gruff sometimes, with a ridiculous beard, but her father had once remarked that he used to be in the Sondereinsatztruppen, before going to the police.
Removing her spit shined shoes for her sports shoes, Electra looked around what the other kids were doing.
Suddenly Lizzy and Devin jumped into the room. At least one person she knew a tad better.

zombie girl init: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
zombie girl perception: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (1) - 2 = -1

Quinn acts in surprise round and puts an arrow in the zombies brain, auto crit doing 18 damage. The arrow punctures and sticks out the other side of the zombie's head. It takes a few breathes from Quinn before it drops to the ground.

If it is just one zombie, there should never be a need of a map. But I can quickly and easily create one if needed. Now the decision is to stay in the locker room, loot the locker room, try the hallway, or try the gym.

_____
Lizzy was already in the room. Devin came in with a younger girl you don't remember seeing before.
Right after Electra hit send to message her father and error code popped up, "Error the number you are trying to reach cannot be reached at this time. 13650 Suncrest Ave. 8:00 p.m." You remember daddy telling you about error messages telling you where to go and when to be there.

He just could not shake this feeling, like this had to be a dream or something. He got to the morgue and began preparing himself. But first he needed to secure the morgue. He went around to make sure all the bolts were in place, the shutters to any of the few windows in the underground room were down and locked, lastly he collected chairs and secured them under the door handles to help with leverage from someone charging into the door.

Then he began to search for items starting with what kind of protection he could find. The thick blood resistant apron would be a start, then duct tape to secure it to his clothing. He then found the plastic helmet that had the plastic face guard which would protect him from some things but a few hits and it would be gone as well. Ditching his briefcase he found a simple backpack in one of the lockers emptying it and filling it with essential items. Duct tape, super glue, first aid kit, a scalpel set, rubbing alcohol, more duct tape, belts, and the list continued... He made a hoop out of duct tape to attach the biggest knife's holder to his belt. Taking the second biggest knife and attaching it to the end of a broom handle.

Lastly he turned on the computers and see if he could get into the security system to see what the webcams were capturing. With little luck he resorts to finding login information first, taking a 20, for a perception check of 31 to find such information.

Quinn looks around the locker room. Is the locker room just a rectangular room with lockers and a few benches?

Quinn figures the hallways are still hectic. Quinn checks the time using her wristwatch and mentally notes the time. She deadbolts the door leading to the hallway before moving to the gym door.

Stealth (cracking open the door: 1 inch): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13 (Necessary?)

Quinn carefully cracks open the door connected to the gym and peaks out.

Perception (looking into the gym): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

After assessing people and objects in the gym, Quinn closes the door as quietly as she had opened it before twisting the deadbolt.

Quinn takes 15 minutes to loot the room, favoring silence over speed. She looks for a blade of some sort to sever the girl zombie’s head. If she finds a blade, Quinn will sever the head. If there is no blade, Quinn with improvise.

Quinn also looks for protein bars (any food) and an empty duffel bag. If Quinn finds a duffel bag, she gently empties the contents onto the floor. If it’s anything like the movies, I’ll be looting convenience stores and homes.

"This is not a defensible position. The army would secure a chokepoint, but also secure a means of retreat..." She leans on the window, looking down and muttering. "They'd also know what they're fighting!"

If there's little option, we can try to make it to the field trip bus. That's in the parking lot though... Ugh! This is far harder than the tv makes it seem! Calm down! She takes a steadying breath. You're just a student. Not the military. You need to worry about saving your life, and the students around you if you can.

She turns to the room. "Did anyone see what's going on out there? Who's attacking?"

Devin sets the girl down as gently as he can along the wall. Peering out the window and witnessed the carnage happening outside. Placing his hands on the window and notices they are covered in that poor girl's blood. We're F'ed in the A. Turning to the room he senses panick is starting to set in, and the teacher whimpering behind her desk isn't helping.

Pulling his baseball bat from his bag he empties the remaining contents on to the ground, books, papers and pencils spill out, not much use at the moment.

Lizzy looks to be in full blown megalomaniacal euphoria. Mino stands by waiting to be ordered about. Electra seems to be setting calmly using her phone. Approaching Electra first, getting her attention he puts his finger to his lips as a sign to be quite the gestures to the window. He then does the same with Mino and Lizzy.

Second Phase, The Cry For Help!
________

Quinn, yes things in the gym were just getting heated.

About 10 minutes into your looting you find a pocket knife and use it for the grisly deed, you also find four water bottles, about 6 meals worth of food, many backpacks, three duffel bags, lots of school supplies and notebooks, lots of extra clothes, hair brushes, makeup, tampons, and such items.

At that time you hear beating on the door to the gym and a girl crying hysterically, "Let me in, let me in, HELP!!!"

_________

At Maki's question one of the students who was rocking themselves snaps out of it and says in a monotone voice, "Zombies, or something like it. The students below were eating each other." At this utterance most of the class stops what they are doing and look out the windows to see the grisly scene below. Several of them gag at the sight and a few throw up. There is about a dozen students still in the class with Maki and the Sensei. They look to you for direction. Several of the students point out other students they know down in the 'fight' and even a few teachers.

The Sensei shrugs and says, "This can't be happening there must be a chemical attack of some kind making them go crazy like that. We stay here where we know it is safe. The police will be here soon. Going out there in the chaos would just get us hurt or worse."

Maki:
Knowing your rooms and the school rather well, the places that would be most defensible would be the roof, the morgue, or one of the bathrooms. The best places to have many exits would be the gym or cafeteria. The roof or bathrooms would be the closest and easiest to get to.

________

No students try to get into your room but there is still quite a few of students out running around. I am going to say it takes the room to get fully prepared in about 10 minutes. All furniture securing the two entrances. A desk leg for everyone. etc. After about 8 minutes the girl in the corner comes to her senses and is wrapped up with half of one of the boy's shirt. The first aid kit bandages were expended quickly and they tore extra strips to secure them.

Once there seems to be no more jobs and the hallway begins to be rather empty you hear some strange moaning noises. Then a guy running and screaming, "Help! Help! Anyone help me!" The group of 20 students look to Lizzy.

________

Lizzy nods and Mino goes to stand next to Devin, waiting to understand what they are talking about. Lizzy continues to control the room, making sure students are busy and no one is panicking.

2 students on the wounded girl, 4 students with the teacher, 2 at the door, 1 making clubs, 1 unscrewing desk legs, 11 moving furniture.

At the call of the boy in the hallway, Lizzy takes one look at the frozen sheep and throws up one finger. She then turns and asks in German, "I would let him get killed, but that would be bad for morale. Devin you up for saving another person today? Once the threat is dealt with we can send out scouts." She waits for a response before addressing the class.

Every student now has a desk leg as a club. Two of the burliest, besides Devin, boys in class hold the brooms at the pile of desks ready to push back any interlopers. The teacher was moved under her desk to minimize her hysteria's effect on the students.

Maki sighs. "We need to secure a more defensible position. The gym and locker rooms would be easily secured, and there we could find baseball bats and other things to defend ourselves with. Spare uniforms for bandages, and beyond it should be the back parking lot. The bus is there."

She looks over the group. "Now we will need to move together, and work as a unit, to survive. Sensei, can you drive a bus?."

She will open her desk and take a roll of cloth tape out. She points to the students armed with brooms and mops. "I will take point... That means be up front. You three, watch our rear and you two, stay on either side of me."
With practiced motions she begins wrapping her hands and delicate fingers with the tape.
"Our job is to keep sensei and the rest of the students safe. Everyone else? Stick with us."

She will mentally plot the shortest route to the gym that has the least open ground. She hopes that there weren't a lot of students there, so there would be less infected to deal with.

Before the doors are opened, she takes her Hello Kitty hair scrunchy from her bag and ties her hair back. "Ready." she declares, her face taking on the concentration it does during sports matches.

After Quinn severs the head with the pocket knife, she wipes the blood and guts onto a nearby pink shirt. That’s an improvement. Quinn smiles to herself, pocketing the knife (school jacket.)

Finding 3 duffel bags, Quinn folds 2 (empty) neatly into her backpack, removing her arrows momentarily to ensure that the arrows are still easily accessible. (I assume the duffel bags are made of nylon so they’re lightweight and easy to store.) Quinn takes the darkest colored duffel bag and fills it with the items she determines worth taking: the four water bottles, 6 meals worth of food, 2 hairbrushes, and ALL the tampons and feminine hygiene pads. I don't care if this is a zombie apocalypse. I refuse to wear blood-stained panties. In a last minute decision, Quinn stuffs a black sweatshirt in the duffel. She fills the bag as she searches. The water bottles are probably the heaviest objects in the duffel bag but water was precious at a time like this. Quinn zips up the bag.

Quinn looks up, realizing she was still holding an arrow in her mouth. She runs over to the gym door, listening as she runs:

Scenario 1: If the person yelling for help sounds like they are currently being attacked by something, Quinn does not open the door. End of post. Scenario 2: If Quinn is unsure if there is something currently attacking or if Quinn determines the girl is not currently being assaulted, Quinn will unlock and open the door.

Perception (Observe hysterical girl): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11

Quinn wants to make sure the person she is letting inside isn’t a zombie. Scenario 1: If the girl looks undead or seriously injured, Quinn will attempt to shut the door in the girl’s face. (Sorry not sorry.) Scenario 2: If the girl looks normal, Quinn will wait for her to enter before closing and locking the door.

Strength (quickly close and lock the door): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19

Scenario 1: If the girl is currently being attacked or if she’s a zombie, Quinn will attempt to shut the door in her face.

Scenario 2: If the girl looks okay (no visible bite marks and no zombie on her back) Quinn will beckon her inside with a head tilt. After the girl enters, Quinn deftly locks the door again before turning to the girl. Quinn removes the arrow from her mouth and asks “Who are you?” About 5 seconds have passed since Quinn locked the door. I'm taking a big risk by saving her ass. She probably drew attention to herself screaming like that... but I need to find a way out of this school.

Morgue:
He gets up frustrated that nothing has really worked, he got into the teacher's account but they had no privileges to the cameras. Grabbing his bladed broom he quietly walks over to the door and flips open the cover for the window. Seeing three healthy individuals he unbolts the door and opens it allowing them into his sanctum.

The two boys and girl come in the room glistening with sweat and smeared in blood. "Thank you, thank you, thank you." The girl says before the three of them take a few steps backwards taken aback from Matthew's appearance. He stepped into the light and they all visibly relaxed. Sincerely Matthew says, "Sorry for the scare, I have been preparing, do I look menacing?" The three nod their heads before just lying flat on the ground.

Matthew goes and gets some cups and fills them with water and brings them to the three. As he hands them each a cup he visually inspects them for cuts, bites, or any wounds. One of the boys has a nasty cut on his shin, likely from hitting a corner of a wall. The other one has a bite mark on his arm. Matthew shakes his head but does not jump to conclusions yet, asking a few questions, "what do you know? Is it really zombies? Are they slow or fast? What happens to those who get bitten?"

They don't have a chance to answer when the door starts getting slammed on by something big. Dents were forming on the door!

Matthew quickly and urgently asks, "What is that?!?"

The three just shook their heads and the bitten boy finally says, "One of the boys was bitten and he just kept growing, he has been after us for a while now."

Matthew gives his bladed broom to one of them, grabs a few more knives from the tray and gives them to the others before grabbing the bone saw and turning it on, bravely saying, "Get back here and when it comes through let it get to me, then stab it as much as you can."

The banging just got worse. Then the Thing came through as the door slammed to the ground. The fool with the broom charged it since it was down, he got several good jabs in before the Thing got up and punched him, slamming the boy into the cabinets and down to the floor he went. It got up fully and charged the other two moving back a little behind Matthew.

Reason had left this poor souls mind and it charged blindly into the 200 mile per hour bone saw and lost a hand within seconds. The three of them were covered in blood and the others attack with their knives. Matthew was able to cut off another arm but the other two were slammed away as well. He checked each of them out but with broken bones there was little he could do.

Back at the door he shook his head at the door that could not be fixed, the mangled bodies around him and the shambling corpses coming towards him. He gave the boy closest to the bone saw the instrument and a quick lesson on how to use it. Another cup of water and a wish of luck for him. His backpack on his back now and the bloodied bladed broom in hand he thought he was ready. Grabbing one of the portable trays he took it out of the morgue and secured it outside the door. He didn't know if it would help or not.

He walked on avoiding the shambling corpses knowing full well he likely could not bring even one of these without a mechanical device.

"Air gun, nail gun, carpentry room?" He thought to himself avoiding another corpse walking as quietly as he could.
