"Now, friend, that would be a silly thing to so. We clearly outnumber you, and you have nothing to gain by trying to kill us, especially when being polite doesn't cost you anything."calls out. "I'll even go first. My name is Dawncaller, and I recently won my freedom from the arena by defeating 100 consecutive battles." He pauses. "And you are?"
The one to his side starts to argue with him, something about revealing information.
The figure seems to ponder for a few moments, but still takes no action yet.

There's a sudden burst of light as Zapley, complete in goblin robe and goblin cucumber mask, bursts out of her lab with a large contraption that could only be described as a giant lightbulb duct taped to a searchlight screwed onto disco globe.
Suffice it to say that the entirety of the area is illuminated and Dawncaller and Tes can perfectly see Vitrius trying to slink away as Vitrius can see Tes and Dawncaller advancing on him.

Vitrius Girsen |

"Gah!" Vitrius reflexively covers his eyes as the light appears. As his vision returns, he can barely trust it. "Te... Tes... is that you?"
-Posted with Wayfinder

Tes il-Stone |

"Holy!" she smiles never so happy to have seen a Vampire before. "We were trying to rescue you but we couldn't find you but now we did... so what the hell happened? Phaerlin died I guess you felt that too right?" She frowns as she thinks again about her fallen comrade.

Dawncaller |

Dawncaller blinks at the sudden infusion of light and says "Ah, I see you found your friend. That is good." Turning to Vitrius, Dawncaller will say "Hello. My name is Dawncaller, and it is a pleasure to meet you."

Vitrius Girsen |

Vitrius fights the urge to hug the woman. It had been a while since he had seen her and the rest. He spent all this time trying to find his way back to them, but it resulted in the loss of Phaerlin. He shook his head at this. "Phaerlin didn't make it. Not for lack of trying. He fought bravely, but in the end, it wasn't enough." He then nods at Dawncaller. "I'm sure Tes has already told you my name is Vitrius Girsen," the vampire extends a hand. "I have many questions and I'm sure you do as well, but at this present time, we have to deal with that goblin. She has something important I need to retrieve."

Tes il-Stone |

Tes pauses, "Vitrius, that Goblin has some sort of contraption that can peer into or maybe teleport us to I think other places shall we say. Are we sure we want to give it to whoever it is you are working for?"

DM Default |

Zapley squints at all of you, mutters to herself angrily and tosses it up in the air as she storms inside her home shouting.
"If you want it so bad! Keep it!"
The device rises into the air a falls with crash. However, there is a larger, more soul piercing break and crack, and you all watch in horror as the very reality around you begins to shatter, quickly, too quickly, and you all fall into the abyss below, somehow between worlds.
A whirl of darkness and color and you feel a giant thump sensation across your entire body. The mana is definitely familiar to two of you and you find yourselves back in Zendikar.
The three of you stand in a cavernous area, rock walls on both sides, and in front of you is what looks like a giant pod on a plant stem. You only have seconds to examine the oddity before you feel a sense of dread, a sense of the Eldrazi and the pod whips back and shoots a small capsule hurtling through the air and into the distance.
Roll initiative! You may describe your first actions!

Tes il-Stone |

Initiative 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Tes stares at the object to see the trajectory of the pod to ensure that she can timely dodge it.
Holding for now, if someone is injured I'll want to heal them. Without my mace my combat options are limited :-)

DM ShadowBloodmoon |

"And here I thought we would just play nice for once."
Initiative : 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
Vitrius moves to intercept the flying pod, ready to knock it out of the air.

Eldrazi Spawner: 1d20 ⇒ 10
Dawncaller, Vitrius, Spawner, Tes
Yes, should still apply Vitrius
The pod lands in front of you and cracks open. A creature that can only be described as tall Kor covered in Eldrazi-ish armor claws its way out. It lets out a terrifying scream and spots you three.
Creatures spawned by the spawner move on the same turn (this one was launched before combat). Need actions from Dawncaller and Vitrius.

Dawncaller |

Dawncaller will move to engage the creature, twirling his longsword and saying "Well now, chicken, let's see how tough you are."
Raging, then attacking the creature.
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 231d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
Damage Roll: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

Vitrius Girsen |

Vitrius girds up his willpower and makes his way to the Spawner itself, attempting to take out its spawning ability any way he can.
Flying Side Kick: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 131d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Flurry 1, Spinning Hook Kick: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 141d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Flurry 2, Rabbit Punch: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 191d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
2/3 Ki Remain, If hits, it can take no reactions until the end of my next turn.

DM Default |

Dawncaller slams his longsword in to the wobbling mess of an organism, slicing a considerable chunk of its flesh off. Vitrius is quick to follow, missing with his first attack, but slamming to blows into its side, causing it to quiver and shriek in pain.
The spawner shoots another pod, it landing farther back, approximately halfway between the spawner and the party. This pod hatches, and what appears to be two goblinoid eldrazi minions pry themselves out.
The Kor-eldrazi seems to elongate its long limbs like whips and tries to slam them into Dawncaller.
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
But Dawncaller is able to duck the lashing.
All player's up!

Vitrius Girsen |

Vitrius continues his assault on the spawner.

1/3 Ki Remain, same effect as before

DM Default |

Dawncaller successfully cleaves the Eldrazi Kor in two, and Vitrius delivers a series of powerful blows trying to beat the Spawner down. But it is a large writhing mass, and it seems to only barely take notice of the attacks.
Dawncaller, you feel a coldness creep up your neck, and you blink as your eyes turn black.
Do you desire power?
Vitirus, you feel your mind racing, thoughts speeding across your conscious and unconscious at speeds so fast its dizzying.
Do you desire answers?
Tes, you feel an emptiness inside, almost drowning out the feeling of righteous harmony.
Do you desire their strength?
The Eldrzi minions don't attack, instead, smiling gleefully, they prick each other with their sharp hands and you watch as their bodies to seem to crack revealing a pulsing glowing red energy under their skin.
The spawner doesn't shoot anything this round, but seems to be conserving its power for next round.
Incoming uber abilities because we're going to have an awesome battle.

Vitrius Girsen |

Vitrius takes a deep breath, allowing his thoughts to race, letting them form and observing them. He was in battle sure, but it was here he thrived and his thoughts were as powerful as his hands. Answers? Yes! I want to know all that I seek to find!

Tes il-Stone |

Yes but to destroy them with it, only for that purpose! Tes responds to the odd thoughts in her head...
"Gentlemen, do we retreat and regroup? Dawncaller, these creatures are Eldrazi, ancient alien beings of terrible power who threaten our home!"

DM Default |

As Tes finishes speaking, she can feel a hollowness in her voice, her breath, that begins to stretch down into the very core of her being. Her skin begins to crack and break apart, revealing the nothing underneath it. All the while her eyes glowing brightly.
New ability gained. Roll 1d20 when touching an enemy. On a 6 or higher, the creature is immediately torn apart by the fabric of reality. On for a 5 or lower, the limb you used with the ability is torn apart instead. The larger the target, the more applications of this ability it will take to defeat.
Vitrius opens his mind to all the answers that seek to flow into him. The only sign of his change, a rapidly white and black glowing focus rapidly switching in his eyes independently.
New ability gained. You have two states of being that you can switch at the beginning of your turn. You can see all the paths your opponent takes. One mode guarentees all hits land and deal critical damage. The other allows you avoid all damage and harmful effects, and redirect them at half potentcy.
Dawncaller rejects the voice, but it merely laughs at him. He can feel the unwanted presence forcing itself into him, pressing into his very will, his very fortitude. But still he fights it off.
The Spawner shoots a particularly large pod that lands between you and itself. The pod breaks open and a mass of fangs and claws bursts forth in a moaning screech, a vampire eldrazi behemoth.
The two goblin eldrazi charge forward and immediately explode in your vicinity!
Damage: 2d10 ⇒ (10, 3) = 13
Dex Save 12 for half.
Players up!

Tes il-Stone |

Tes' vice sounds hollow, devoid of the warmth that it once contained as she speaks, "Gentlemen, keep this creature occupied, I will deal wth the pod..."
She dives out of the way of the exploding Eldrazi and attempts to race around the newest horror to get to the true threat. Full movement to get to the creature. Let me know if I can strike it this round.
Dexterity 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
She grimaces as the offal that were the goblin Eldrazi strike her with great force.

Vitrius Girsen |

Calculations race through his head, Tes' voice, though distant, resonating through him. That Spawner was his only target and its continued existence detrimental to all life. By all possibilities and endless formulas, it had to be removed from the equation. Vit's hands were no faster or slower than before, but they moved at a precise measurement of speed and power, intersecting with the creature's form as they hit hard.
Flurry of Blows, all Hit,
All the Damage!: 2d4 + 1 ⇒ (4, 1) + 1 = 62d4 + 1 ⇒ (2, 1) + 1 = 42d4 + 1 ⇒ (2, 1) + 1 = 4

DM Default |

Tes uses every ounce of strength to move up to the spawner. uses full turn
Vitrius goes on the offensive and flurries an attack on the spawner, each hit landing devastating blows that ripple o=up its side.
Dawncaller dodges to the best of his ability but is still hit by the blast.
====================
The behometh turns around and stomps on Vitrius and Tes!
Stomp: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22 Damage: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
As the dust settles the broken bodies of Vitrius and Tes lie on the ground, their only witness the still resisting Dawncaller who can feel a dark power welling up inside him.
But yet, the bodies of Vitrius and Tes begin to glow a bright white and blue respectively. And they rise!
Their bodies are held together by nothign but the pure flow of mana, but its evident that the power is eroding their flesh all the same.
Vitrius and Tes, both of you gain temporary hp equal to 4 times your max hp. Vitrius you may use your ki points freely as if you always had them. Both of you feel your life force being pulled away as well, as if being called home in a torrent of energy...
The spawner launches another glob which lands in front of Dawncaller, some kind of infected beastial creature that looks like a mix of a wolf and a spider. It begins to claw towards you...
players up!

Dawncaller roars in primal frustration and unleashes his anger on the creature before him.

Damage Roll: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13

Tes rises crackling with energy, perhaps if she stopped to think of the source she would be concerned but for now, stopping the Nemesis is her only concern.
She approaches the pod thrower, Touch Attack 1d20 ⇒ 16 rend reality.
Tes finally reaches the threat, she is at risk, risk of losing herself but it is a desperate hour and desperate measures must be taken.

Vitrius feels the call but refuses to go just yet. "Fight isn't over! He yells in defiance, unleashing blow after blow on the Spawner. As he does, his mind enters, no, forces its way to the creature's. You are mine! Give me your mind!
All the hits and damage, plus attempting a read mind and pushing his limits...
Damage: 2d4 + 1 ⇒ (4, 2) + 1 = 72d4 + 1 ⇒ (1, 2) + 1 = 42d4 + 1 ⇒ (4, 1) + 1 = 6

The spawner lets out a horrendous scream as a large portion of its body is rendered....gone. Simply ripped out from reality. Dawncaller does his best to slay the vampiric behemoth, but his blade bounces off its toughened skin and draws the abomination's attention to him. Vitrius pounds away at the weakened spawner, each forceful palm rippling damage up its body.
Images flashes into Vitrius' mind, one of unseeable horrors, terrifying giants, corrupting images, irreparable damages, unthinkable-
The images cut off.
And still it stands.
The behemoth turns to Dawncaller and tries to stomp him into the ground.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21 Damage: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
With one attack Dawncaller is crushed into the ground. He can feel the pain wracking his body.
The spawner itself thrusts its blasting head downward and sprays a thick fog all around, surrounding the two revenant beings attacking it.
Eldrazi Haze: Everyone within fifteen feet is staggered (one action per round) and must pass a Con DC 15 check. On failure, you are stunned for the round and can't take any actions.

Tes il-Stone |

Tes tries to hold her breath CON 1d20 ⇒ 19 and manages to do so!
Tes yet again reaches out in an attempt to destroy the spawner.
Death Touch - 1d20 ⇒ 18

Vitrius Girsen |

Vitrius senses the danger and quickly redirects the noxious gas back towards the Spawner... he still continues to press his mind into it, willing himself to be stronger than the chaos within.
Free Action Switch Dual Nature, redirect Haze to the Spawner.

DM Default |

The spawner has need to breathe, so even though Vitrius is able to warp most of the mist to the spawner, there doesn't seem to be much effect. Tes is able to stomach the mist and continue with her assault on teh spawner, taking out another sizable chunk from it. It seems to sag in pain and lets out another horrendous scream.
Dawncaller, is unfortunately stunned by the mist, but thankfully it disperses rather quickly. and he can already feel his limbs coming back to him.
Die here....and I claim you....Choose me....and I will set you free... the voice in Dawncaller's mind coaxes.
The behomath stomps on Dawncaller's form once more.
Stomp: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26 Damage: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
Yeah....
The crushing weight seems to dissapear as Dawncaller starts to drift to unconsciousness.
What do you chooose.......?

Tes il-Stone |

Tes yet again reaches out in an attempt to finish the spawner off completely.
Death Touch - 1d20 ⇒ 14

DM Default |

Whoops, my bad. Alright, same scene but you're not drifting into unconsciousness, but still beaten up pretty bad.

Vitrius Girsen |

Vitrius focuses and his eyes return to white as he blasts his Ki into the Spawner.

DM Default |

The spawner snaps from its ties to the earth, too many voids that consumed its flesh, too many pierced flesh where powerful blows pelted it, and it crashes to the ground in defeat. Around you all the creations it had mustered begin to wither and die.
You are victorious....yet.....
Vitrius and Tes look at their enhanced aetherial forms, and watch as the power, and themselves, begin to fade. You both can feel it, you both are dying.
Dawncaller, you look up to see these two powerful beings start to flicker and dim. You are almost unconscious yourself, and that voice in the back of your head hasn't completely gone away yet.
Final scene time. You all have the option of using the last bit of your strength for something cool you want to go out of whether preserving life, sending someone home, or striking another blow against the eldrazi, etc. Will write a scene depicting said awesomeness.

Vitrius Girsen |

Blue's are also Masters of Time, hold my tea, watch this...
The Spawner finally defeated, Vitrius looks to his companions. Their minds are open to him, in fact even beyond mere thoughts, he has become as one with them. Even as his own essence slips from him, he can sense theirs in danger as well. Tes' powerful Light envelops him and this new one, Dawncaller, strange to him, but yet somehow familiar. He focused on another face that he hadn't forgotten. Phaerlin. The vampire who had sacrificed his life so that Vitrius may live. His decision made, Vitrius reached out with his hand, the weight of Time against him, and pulls with all his might, snapping a blue thread only visible to him. Then all is covered in blue and he welcomes the rush of waves as the air escapes him.... "Goodbye my friends. You will not remember me, but I will always remember you."
So, Vit, being as altruistic has ever, folds back Time, so far that he never existed and the portal to his Realm never opened to the Eldrazi. Tes, Dawn and Phaerlin awaken, as if from sleep, never knowing the dangers they faced and the sacrifice made for their new future...At least that's the idea... :-)

Tes il-Stone |

Tes looks forlornly at Vitrius, the creature she had grown up to fear who had sacrificed so much as an ally to her and those chosen with her. With the little life left Tes gathers it all into one dark ball, she then releases it at the Eldrazi, she know it will not be enough to slay them all but even if it slays one that is one less roaming around to slay her people, or anyone else in the land that she so loves, Zendikar.
She will direct her Deathtouch powers at any and all nearby Eldrazi, describe it as you see fit DM!
