Finder's Keeper |
Sincerest apologies, Finder's Keeper. Got hit by a RL s+*~storm and it doesn't look like it's going to clear anytime soon, so it would be best for me to bow out. Sorry for the runaround. I was looking forward to playing.
Thanks
Mang
I'm sorry to see you go, but I do appreciate the head's up. Maybe our paths will cross again in the future. Best wishes!

Quote:** spoiler omitted **My approach to this situation depends on whether drinking in public is illegal; even if it's only "technically" illegal...
What are the laws on that sort of thing?
Totally improvising here...
Drinking in public is legal, although clearly intoxicated individuals can be hauled in to sober up in a cell. On a day of public celebration such as this, there are likely many people drinking, and so the constabulary is probably forced to show some leniency on public intoxication, so long as people aren't causing trouble.

I am trying Bard - FK would a detective archetype fit better than a magician archetype? A detective seems a better fit for RHC.
Agreed, detective would be a great fit, but there's nothing wrong with your original idea either. A bard in general should do very well here, regardless of archetype.

I've two concepts and either would be fine with me:
A salty Sorcerer with the Tattooed Sorcerer archetype from Inner Sea Magic (if allowed). Would be Maestro bloodline and likely enchantment focused.
Or a Cleric which is a bit world weary and used to be more of a firebrand speaker. Probably Evangelist archetype.
Which would the party prefer?

Oh, man, both of those sound awesome. I'll defer on expressing a preference, and see what the other players say for now.

Regarding Character: The cleric could be a neat addition, but honestly I prefer not suggest things for people to play as I've been on the other end of that and had it not work out well.
Also, just as a heads-up, my finals are coming up, so if I am quiet for the next week and change, that's why.
No problem, AlanM, thanks for the notice!
Lorth Blood-Seer |
Ok, Lorth should be ready for a once-over.
I've used 20pt buy, no traits, and average wealth. Still need to fill in the theme feat details and some local colour, but my copy of the Zeitgeist Player's Guide is at home so will do so tonight.
Still need to do all the derived numbers (like AC, etc) - but again will get to those later.
As far as introduction, I'd just assume that I was another constable who was assigned to keep the peace? - perhaps I make an entrance on the side of the other PCs when the first skirmish or kerfuffle starts?

I think that should work, Mark. You can go ahead and jump in the game thread whenever you're ready.

GM Finder - are you ok with me using the following spell (From Faiths of Purity)?
School divination; Level bard 1, cleric 1
Casting Time 1 standard action
Components V, M (a tiny mirror)
Range personal
Target you
Duration 1 minute/level
This spell allows you to tap into the natural beauty of your soul
and let it shine from your eyes and your speech. While the spell is
active, you gain a +2 insight bonus on all Charisma ability checks
and Charisma-based skill checks.

GM Finder and fellow Zeitgeisters - just a forward notice, from 14th December to 10th January I will be going on vacation back downunder to visit relatives and whatnot.
While I will retain net access throughout the trip, it's likely that my available online time and therefore post rate will drop down. If needed at any time, please feel free to DMPC Lorth (once introduced) to keep things rolling onwards.

Vacation notice!
Pasting this to the discussion threads of all my games...
I'll be traveling halfway around the world starting tomorrow. I should have regular internet access the whole time, but I may miss a day while I'm in transit, and for the next month or so I'll be in the GMT-10 timezone instead of my usual late-evening GMT posts.
