Cord Vogel
Cord fumbles trying to stow his axe and un-holster his gun when he sees the slumped figure.
"Watch your self Dave, she might be turning." he warns, his voice muffled behind his face mask, "who has got the flash light?"
I have a shotgun retrieved from the dead Asian in the penthouse corridor, did some one hand me a sub-machine-gun at some point, or did Mike get that?

Patrick pulls himself together with a shudder
"Focus man focus, the ragheads'll getcha when you ain't focused" He mutters under his breath
As the group enters the top level Patrick twitchily scans the area, looking for any danger.
Despite his feeling focused, Ol' Sarge is obviously not doing so well.

"Perhaps, she needs an exam... just to be on the safe side."
Yeah, an exam... any excuse right Rad! Maybe that can be your excuse too Moth. ;)-
Sam looks up at Dave as he turns and walks away, her sobs slowly subsiding into sniffles. She looks around for something to wipe her nose on and obviously finding nothing, she quickly pulls her t-shirt up under her mask and wipes her eyes, then her nose.
She stands and walks back down to survey her handiwork, hearing the door fall off it's hinges and then voices from up the stairs. Curious, she slings the Beiwulf over her shoulder and pulls out her Tonfa, giving them both a practice twirl to make sure she's OK. Taking one last look around, she heads over to the stairs and onto the roof, where she sees Dave talking to a beautiful Asian Woman. She walks over to stand protectively by him, aware that he might be in danger in his emotional state.
His emotional state... hello pot and kettle, meet black! :)

"Perhaps, she needs an exam... just to be on the safe side."
Dave gives Johnnie a dubious sideways look (probably lost between the mask and the impending darkness), then figures out what the doctor means and nods. "Yeah."
He looks back up at Anna. "Sorry, I just didn't expect any of that," he gestures vaguely downstairs with the crowbar, speaking more gently. "But you're the only person I know in Vancouver - well, apart from this lot now. I figured I should see if you were ok." He takes a deep, hissing breath through the face-mask filters.
"There'll ... all dead downstairs ... but I guess you knew that. We'll get you out of here ... but we need to make sure you're not sick. This is Johnnie, he's a doctor. Climb down here, he'll make sure you're ok."
Taking a chance (after all, she recognised him, and spoke), Dave re-holsters his gun (though he keeps a grip on the crowbar with his other hand), takes a step towards the shed and reaches out his hand.
EDIT: Unless Sam stops him (crosspost)

Sam tightens her grip on her Tonfa and makes as if to take a step forward, but restrains herself and lets Dave go ahead. She does however make sure she is ready to spring into action at the slightest hint of an attack on either Dave or Johnnie (or herself for that matter).
Ready an Action if either Anna or the slumped body make any threatening movements towards us at all.

From behind you and above, on the peak of the utility shack.
"Dave?"
Mike elbows Judd.
"Wow, bro."
While Sarge's madness is more overt, Mike has been becoming more detached and laconic. In his reasoning, the only way to escape the carnage is to take a few steps back. This is just in case you were wondering about his recent affectation of a more "f!#! it" attitude.
Anna Cho
"Hi guys."
Anna puts the revolver she was holding into the waistband of some hip low khakis and climbs off the peak.
"Yah I figured everyone's dead from the noise. That pool looked like a huge fncking toilet from up here, I hope nobody was standing in front of the window when that happened."
"And you'd better check Leilei over there in the hut first, I got up here when the fever hit her and she just went like... rigid or something a few hours ago. The girl in the pool was Bigfat's girl, he went first, and she changed yesterday."
Kruelaid
Johnny runs the thermograph over Anna and she's a little cool, maybe from sitting outside.
As for Leilei -
Johnny:
Anna Cho
"No, she just came down with it, like Candy."
<She waves her hand toward the pool.>
"Two of the guys got fevers and they locked us up here on the roof, but then Candy got it, then Leilei. Candy woke up first, I shot her. Deedee, my brother, he taught me to shoot, so... I've been on the utility shack since they got fevers, I slept up there."
Cord Vogel
Cord speaks from behind his mask, "Johnnie you should do a check on all of us as well while you are at it, been a few hours since you last checked me and I am not feeling any better."
He stands in the stair doorway keeping guard in case the sudden influx of water brings any attention.
Over his shoulder he calls, "Can any of you see if the bus is still OK from up here?"
Cord Vogel
Cord notices the uber-hot Anna for the first time, "Anna, have you been drinking the tap water or only bottled?" His tone is flat as he works on his theories, "What about the other girls?"
"I only drink bottled water or soda and I am wondering if the water system is contaminated now," he answers to the others before they can query his strange train of thought.

"Already doing that."

Clusters of Chinese topiary, large potted plants and small trees tastefully edge the roof, but several openings offer superb views of the ground below.
Johnny looks over the edge as the street lights begin flicking on, and it doesn't look so much like hunting, but more like the Boston marathon for cannibals.
Hundreds, possibly thousands of them must be pouring out of Stanley park onto the streets of downtown: shuffling, running hunched over, some of them carrying weapons, moving in groups almost like flocks of birds.
Some of the larger groups seem to have leaders who are calling out in snarls and howls - what's worse, spasmodic gestures seem to be getting through to the followers.
A group of forty or fifty enter a building across the street directed by a tiny woman in blood soaked hospital whites.

Juan 'Johnnie' Rico wrote:Let me get this straight. So you go into the hut with Leilei?"Alright we can use these things for a lot of things."
"Anyone ever made a molotov cocktail?"
Remembering that Leilei can be a raging Z any moment Johnnie reconsiders going near her. "Leilei is sick in a very bad way." Johnnie points the shotgun in Leilei's direction. "She hasn't attacked you?" Johnnie asks of Anna.
Dave Judd
“Fnck. We’ve been here too long,” Judd points to the waves of cannibals down in the street. “Isn’t anyone else a little bit worried by that?” His voice sounds like he’s making a remarkable effort to sound calm … so much so that he ends up not really sounding calm at all.
“A gunshot now is just going to attract attention. We need to be really careful, do all the right things now, or we’re going to die,” he says flatly.
Is the door to the hut open? Can we see Leilei?
He takes a deep breath, and hefts the crowbar. “I’m sorry,” he says again, face mask turned towards Anna. “I’ll take care of Leilei,” he tells the others. “You guys figure out what we’re going to do about those things. Fast. Nothing noisy unless it involves us getting the hell away from here.”
He steps towards the hut.

Mike prepares to back him up if things turn ugly. Uglier. You know damn well what I mean.

And under normal circumstances that would probably worry the people around you....Juan 'Johnnie' Rico wrote:"Yeah, why?""Anyone ever made a molotov cocktail?"
He steps towards the hut.
It's a grass roofed shelter for a big round table and very comfortable chairs. The whole circumference is windowed, with sliding sashes so the breeze can move right through.
You can see the whole inside clearly and the door is open.
Leilei is sitting in one of the plush chairs and lays slumped over the table.
The table itself is heaped with a stockpile of canned and dried foods, inlcuding three bottles of vodka, a case of soda and 7-up, and a one liter bottle of bartender's lime mix.
Leiei has an unfinished Slime in front of her.
A cabinet with a hotplate and a stereo are on one wall.

Dave takes a deep breath. Closes his eyes, opens them. Enters the hut.
Inside:
He walks over to the girl in the chair, looks at her for a moment, then swings the crowbar hard, two handed with all the strength he can muster, at her head.
17+4-4 (head shot) = 17. Damage: 6+2 = 8
