Brian snaps his fingers in recognition. "OH! You're one of those...um, they've got three heads...no, that's different. But they've got that immortal things and you can choose 2 skills as your class skils. Kinda lame as a racial trait, but I guess it can come in handy. Can't think of their name.
Anyway, we wanna overthrow these Golden Hand people and replace them. Probably with some righteous deity like Propoket, who is totally just as real as any other deity. Even Banjo.
Failing that, we'll just wipe them out.
Same thing with the town over there.
Now, how do we do that? You wanna give us a sidequest, that's fine, I need my sandbox to have some structure. But otherwise I think we can front-door 'em pretty soon.
Then we'll move on to that...that mine town. With the kids? No, I haven't forgotten about that. That's the main objective, we're just taking the scenic rout to get there.
How's that sound?"
Sharazeh Finaak
"Haha, yes, you and your side quest notions. Well, as I said, you may find a druid or two to the east, south of the forked tree between here and the Temple of Magdh...yes I know about that place. Beyond that, I think you should visit the temple and gain a few skills to aid your quest. There is a troubling bear to the south of here, but I don't think you want go off killing random animals just because. Especially with one that seeks the druids being in your party. None the less, a job to north also is to be had. They need help building a fence...against an undead foe...be careful. As well, a little further west you may find another enchanted den of wolves...but they may have already left by now. These are options I can easily see from the minds of these refugees."
Sharazeh Finaak
Recalling that he was asked about his race, he responds, "I am of the Samsaran people. There are many Oracle's and other magic users amidst my people. Regardless, if you have other questions that I might answer I will surely do what I can for you. There was a question or two that I was to commune with my deity regarding, if you wish to add to the list, you may wish to do so soon, for I can only attempt this, at its best, once per day."
Justin "TD" Ray
"Brian," Justin finds himself saying in a tone akin to Big Boss addressing Quiet. "You know I love flexing my muscles as much as any other man, but let's not take the prison yard rush tactic just yet.. We haven't learned of the enemies defenses nor of their offensive capabilities just yet. Even the entire sect are mere elf-loving imposters, they may prove to be martial masters."
Thinking himself briefly 'Martial Masters?' ...Sounds like a famous rapper's name..
With his hand raised towards the East, he smiles and says, "Let's not risk our heads until we know and understand our enemy. Hell, it may turn out that the truest enemy is actually the one posed as our ally! If we jump the gun, history may label us as the fiends. I propose our original idea: we came here for druids - let us seek out these druids. One or two are better than none, right? And it's far better than you risking that pretty, chiseled jaw you got. What say you to this, my friend?"

Brian nods. "East then! West! No East! East to the druids!"
While I'm built as a zookeeper, I refuse to accept Jaarn into my fold. I was all set to have a sultry leather wearing hawt chixorz in my cohort but noooo. So it's up to you guys to claim him. =)
Justin "TD" Ray
:( I guess that means TD can't be Brian's cohort anymore then because he's not a NPC nor a hawt chiXorz.[ooc]
[ooc]lel Can't wait to get one for TD as well!
Giving Brian a thumbs up, the rogue smiles and chimes, [b]"That's the spirit!" With his head turned to face the horizon, he await the rest of the group before heading out.
Jerimiah Spilane
With an amount of frustration, Jermimiah seems more intent on writing a set of notes in rapid succession within his book. He does not even bother to look up and investigate the area they're moving through, much more focused on whatever it is he's writing.

Justin scans the woods like a less keen-eyed pet bird in a store.
"Talk about eye candy," he says as he takes in the sight he sees.
Michael Johnson DM85
With your attentive sight after a few hours of walking through the lightly wooded area, you find the area you fought the wolves a day or so ago. With your knowledge of nature you can tell that right at the scene is a forked tree just as the man said. Your joint efforts in finding this reveal that wolves footprints head south.
Jerimiah Spilane
"Wood wood wood... and more tracks. We should just keep going, locate the encampment... Was that boy here the entire time? I only blinked for a moment..." He trails off, before be taking off his glasses to clean any spots, just in case those were blocking the sight of a bandit.
Justin "TD" Ray
Placing his hand against Brian and Jerimiah's chest, indicting to halt their movement, Justin taps an index finger against his mouth with a grin before making more hand gestures to communicate. He points to the others before placing his index and middle finger under his eyes and then makes an air-circle in a general sweep of the surrounding area before placing a thumb to his chest, and flicks his hand to point at the sleeping bandit-man with his index and middle fingers.
Feeling that he should have clearly been understood, he nods his head and gives a thumbs-up and awaits their reaction before moving forward with his plan.
Bluff to pass secret message: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Oh my God, it would've been grand if he nat1'd and no one understood what he was getting at xD
EDIT: Ahhhh haaa! Jerimiah corrected me on the rules! No one understands him!! Mwhahahahahahaahahahah! SHENANIGANS ENSUE!! XD
MESSAGE REMOVED SINCE FAILED CHECK!
Jerimiah Spilane
"What, you want us to kill him right now he before he wakes up? Hm... You could be right, if he wakes up then he might call for help. Right, Herr White, you ready to stab him with the spear and I'll burn him with a spell, Herr Ray, you ready to poke him in the ribs, and hopefully all this is done quickly enough he won't have time to scream." Flickers of light gather at his finger tips, it seems he's serious!
Dmitri McLanski
I'm actually oppposed to this plan, Dmitri whispers to the group, reaching a hand to Jerimiah but thinking better of it before continuing, we don't know if this boy is going to be hostile or not. He is dressed as a bandit, but we don't know why. I think two of us, perhaps Toby and Justin, should search the surrounding area while the rest of us stand by the boy in case he wakes up and make our intentions clear if he awakens.
Jerimiah Spilane
He sighs, the magic vanishing away from his hands. Ach, fine. A point has been made, but one must wonder... Why is 'bandit' even a look? One would think, that banditry would take on multiple faces, yet they all seem to wear the same easy to identify raggity clothing and armour. Could very much do with some variety, or subtly. Hmm, if you give me a moment, I may prepare a spell of charming."
Dmitri McLanski
I believe that would be prudent, and we should have some time while scouting is happening. As for the uniform... Dmitri thinks on this for a while, crossing his arms across his chest and tapping his shoulder plates while he thinks. It doesn't seem too different from the gangs back home, with them wearing certain colors or dressing in certain ways to show their allegiance to those in the know. The Yakuza, for example, very much enjoy their slacks and fancy shirts without ties. So it's possible this boy is part of a syndicate of some sort, which could be a problem for us... He pauses again, weighing the options before him before saying, I still want to be sure we're not killing some kid that got messed up in something bigger than him though. I couldn't live with the guilt if we did.

"...You thought I wanted you to kill him, Jerimiah? What part of," he pauses to repeat the hand gestures before continuing, "...could have possibly implied that? We're going to have to work on our silent message-sending, but Dmitri's got the right idea. Posting look-outs while investigating the lad was what I was aiming for. You never know - it could be a trap."
Turning to face the horizons as he quickly glances around, Justin finishes with, "I'm flattered that you think I can handle scouting, Wonder Sword~ I won't let you down!" Flashing a thumbs up, he crouches down and waddles off to watch down the roads, keenly keeping an eye open for danger.
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14
...but those damn butterflies are just too majestic! Man, would you just look at those things? How could anyone focus on being a look-out when these things are around? Talk about eye candy!
Man, I can't wait to tell the others about these things! These are just simply amazing! It's like they just keep bouncing all on their own!
Jerimiah Spilane
He waves his hands in a dismissing manner to the American. "Bah! Perhaps you should consider placing the blame upon yourself, how is one expected to undesrtand this–" He wiggles his fingers condesendingly, "When it's done by and received by people with no formalized training in hand signals? Hmph."
He holds out a hand as TD walks off, likely far before his rant concluded, and Speckle responds to his mental tug. She crawls down his arm, and perches upon his hand facing him. "Now, this is my first attempt performing this, but if I recall it shouldn't take more then a few– Brennende Hände Anfreunden Mensch!" In the middle of his musing, whispered words, visible words erupt from both man and rat as they seemingly speak, symbolizing the exchanging of spells once they transfer to one another. He stumbles backward after this happened, stunned by the sheer magic he initiated.
"That was... different..." The man mutters, as he straightens himself.
He has replaced Burning Hands with Charm Person, essentially.
Michael Johnson DM85
The boy wakes up at the German words being shouted...staggers awake and begins to stand. Blinking a little as he focuses his rested eyes, he sees Jeremiah and quickly stands at attention, "Hair Jer my ya! (Badly pronouncing Herr Jerimiah) I heard the old man saying you were headed this way...I went ahead hoping to meet you! Did you and your friends really take down that mean old captain guy?" Eyes filled with wonder and amazement as he looks at the spell caster.
Jerimiah Spilane
"..." He stares blankly at the child for a moment, uncertain how the whisper magic managed to awake him. Perhaps it was the arcane flash? it then starts to register exactly what he said, and he groans. "Ach, I had been hoping that we would be free of that old man's nuisance upon leaving that camp. Child, this is not a place for you, I insist that you leave back towards the village instead of resting like a baffoon in a location where wolves have been known to roam."

Justin is currently blissfully unaware of the boy's sudden state of awake and continues monitoring the butterflies, fairly certain that he was assigned no other duty than to make sure these insects continue being awesome!
Dmitri McLanski
Dmitri's looks over the boy, confused at to the sudden turn of events. After a brief moment, he stands straight and seems surprised again, not realizing that he had dropped into a ready stance and had his hand on the hilt of his sword. 私は多分、この時良くなっています。。。
The Wizard is right, napping here was an mistake. I'm glad you survived your nap, though. He looks over the boy again, and with a quizzical look asks, what is the story of your attire? We thought you a bandit, one of our group is in the woods searching for any compatriots you may have had. At this, he scrunches his face and looks around, taking a deep breath to whistle before he realizes, 我々は信号がありません。くそー。
Perhaps I AM getting better at this...
We don't have a signal. Dammit. (or f#@&, or s%&!, depending on the pronunciation. It's a very versatile word :-P)
(on another note, I had not known until now that Paizo's boards aromatically censored swear words. Interesting)
Justin "TD" Ray
Lmfao We are quickly becoming well-known for our lack of signalling and rendezvousing capabilities xD Our one weakness! In the meantime...
Having sat down and retrieving the blank book from the start of their adventure, Justin proceeds to begin to sketch the insects and their grace as best he can.
Just wait until the others see this! They'll be so impressed!
Labeling the top of the page 'The Wonderflies,' the rogue smiles in awe at how even his horrible, crude sketch of the butterflies seems to be infinitely profound and gorgeous by sheer association with their majesty.

The DC is not high at all to see the boy or our the scene...but if you both wish to examine "Wonderflies" go right ahead.
The boy simply says, "oh...this armor? It's what the village could piece together for me before I set out to join you. I wanna be an adventuring adventurer that goes on adventures like you, Jer ma ya!"(Again, mispronouncing your name)
Jerimiah Spilane
"No– No, no, absolutely not. You are far too young to be wandering out facing horrors the likes of which we have had to face. You should return home to where you're safe." He crosses his arms, and looks down sternly at the child as he attempts to persuade him to not get himself killed. "And cease use of that name! Not as if you were pronouncing it right anyway."
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22

"He's attacking!" Jerimiah shouts, hoping to get everyone's attention. Having no spells on hand, he attempts to rush towards Dmitri.

Lunging forward, his hand glows as reaches out, attempting to place his palm on the Arcanist.
Touch Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
Placing his palm on the man's chest, Jerimiah is immediately shocked by the young man's touch.

(Pool strike is don't as a free action, now his regular attack)
Coming in with his dagger.
Spell Strike Dagger: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24 as the blade burns red hot
Crit confirm: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20

Jerimiah dies. As his neck is torn clean and his head tilts backwards, his entire body burns beyond recognition.
Michael Johnson DM85
Realizing he hurt the man he admirers...hurt him a lot... He stops in his tracks "I'm sorry...sorry, I didn't mean to go that far... I have a potion...I'll give you a potion...I'm so sorry." Realizing the damage was far greater than he expected, he looks in his bag and pulls out a scroll and a few mundane looking items, laying them beside Jerimiah. Using the scroll, life warms back into the librarian as if he never died.
Jerimiah Spilane
He's dead, Michael. You dealth thiety damage to a 14 HP character with ten con. He's just dead. I'll... I'll start thinking about what to reroll.
Jerimiah Spilane
Just... no. Just, I don't know. Pretend he's dead for now. I need to calm down, And I don't need you pulling deus ex machina like this. You killed him. That happened. We move on.
Justin "TD" Ray
Hearing Dmitri's call, Justin rises to his feet and returns the journal to his pack before walking the short distance back to the others.
"What's going," he begins to ask, but as his eyes survey the scene before them he can feel the colour being drained from his face. "What?? Jerimiah!!!" Justin calls out as he notices the body and the child beside it. With heat burning in his cheeks and his blooding boiling, the rogue drops his backpack before rushing towards the kid - aiming to subdue him.
"I knew it was a trap!!"
Initiative: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Grapple: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
Well... Managed to nat1 and nat20 right next to each other.. Not even going to question it. His grapple will provoke an AoO as well for lacking the Improved version, but hey - at least he auto-succeeds it though xD
"Get the rope from my backpack and help me restrain this one!!" He calls out to the others, frantic and hysterical from seeing his fallen comrade in such a state.
Jerimiah Spilane
Smoke wafts upwards from his body, laying there unmoving, the head a foot away with a look of terror barely recognizable on it's charred features. His rat, Speckle, is furiously chewing on the young boy's pant leg. She can already sense her intellect waning, and wishes to make use of her remaining hours as a magical creature avenging her master, as pitiful an attempt it is.
Justin "TD" Ray
Feeling the young man being without resistance, he pulls him to the ground and lays him on his stomach, holding the young one's arms behind his back before glancing back over to Jerimiah. Quickly looking away, Justin clenches his teeth and holding back tears. He cannot even discribe how he's feeling right now other than an emotional monk is hitting him with flurry of feels and critting every hit.
Hopelessly desperate, the rogue asks the arcanist in a shaky, clearly distraught voice, "H... Hey, buddy... Y-you alright?"
Though he doesn't expect a response, he's maintaining denial at what he has assumed just happened.
Happy 1000th post everyone!! I feel honoured to accept this reward! I couldn't have done it without me! Thanks me! xD
