If I can see the invisible wolfman with my eyes of Randtamra, why do my missiles not hit him?

Randtam is trying. But here he is struggling. Summon a brontosaurus? He is useless.
Magic Missile yes.
Blown out all evocation.
My error Randtam. You did not specify a target and I wrongly assigned the MM damage to a monk.
The first round of magic missiles glance harmlessly off of the shield spell the wolfman has up.
The second round thump solidly into a monk unless you want to try the wolfman again.

Benedict falls into the pit and is crushed to death....
Carrion Crown CAW
The party hears the terrified wail of Benedict followed by the sound of bones snapping and flesh being pulped as the pit hungrily consumes him.
Balator and Randtam combine to finish off two monks, while Uuranx lays a massive cut on the wolfman. The furry beast snarls in surprise and pain before dimension dooring away.
The party easily slays the remaining monk.
A few moment later the pit dissipates and the gelatinous remains of Benedict appear.
***end of combat***
On the bodies of the monks you find: 6 potions of CMW; 6 MW daggers; 6 +1 amulets of mighty fists; 6 +1 rings of protection. There is also a magnificent platinum censer studded with various gems worth 9,000 GP total.
There are exits to the E, SE, and SW.
Balator
Balator stares at Benedict's body trying to determine if Benedict is dead/dead or just mostly dead.
"You have some skill with healing Uuranx, can you revive him? Does he not have a wand for curing that you can use?"
Take his valuables to return to his church if we can't revive him.
Uuranx
"I don't think a CLW wand will work on this. But it is worth a shot anyways", Uuranx pulls out a CLW wand. "Iomadae, grant this valiant warrior a second chance. Pharasma, there is still work to be done. Let us have Benedict on this plane." Use the wand CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
If it looks like it is having any effect, I will continue to use charges.
Balator
Do we think we have time to rest for an hour?
An exhausted character moves at half speed, cannot run or charge, and takes a –6 penalty to Strength and Dexterity. After 1 hour of complete rest, an exhausted character becomes fatigued. A fatigued character becomes exhausted by doing something else that would normally cause fatigue.
Carrion Crown CAW
At most you think you could retreat back somewhere and hole up and hope for the best. It is highly unlikely that you will be left alone for that long. Randtam feels confident that the wolfman is more likely than not to rally the other denizens of the place and hunt you down.
Uuranx uses the few items that survived Benedict's crushing death to heal the party to full HP. He finds a few scrolls of lesser restoration that he uses to eliminate the party's exhaustion.
Balator
"Thanks Uuranx, I'm feeling much better now, let's find this wolfman and be done with him."
