it has strong alcohol and anise and fennel flavors, it somewhat reminds you of moon-radishes and the alcohol (moon-radish) mash that is often drank in the four kingdoms.....

She slowly looks at the bandit. "This one hear too much. He can't stay here now."

Y spits on the ground, snarling at Quuroog, "Fine! Mite tribe can buy wine from Ratfolk tribe and Goblin tribe and Y tribe. Y drive wagon back. Do what want with that one."

Y marches off towards the wagon, casting a look back at Gufi; he knows not if the spell still works, but whispers nonetheless. "You want ride? Help Y steer." Mounting up, Y whistles to Soggy; whether he will follow or not, Y is never sure.

Quuroog follows the kobold. "Blind bear can follow wagon track in tall grass. Yraalik take wagon home, bad men follow. Not good! Better to hide wine and break wagon! Clever Yraalik knows how to break wagon, yes?"

"If must take wagon, take long way around, not straight to tribes. Find road, like walking in river, harder to follow."

"I don;t want that wagon who wants that wagon!?" Colvin retorts his tail twitching nervously.

Colvin begins a prayer to Ferrakus to return this man to the Earth from whence he came, slowly does he raise his pick over his head, at the crescendo of the prayer he will complete the deed and silence the bandit who silenced their friends...

For the sake of continuity I will act as if the bandit doesn't hear your private conversation (due to either the message spell or a language other than common)....and he will only speak if he is negotiating or directly responding to a question....

"Should let horses go. That make longshanks unhappy, too."

Colvin nods at Quuroog, "That's a good plan, we can;t ride the horses and we have our own rides anyhow!"

She starts moving among the horses, trying to coax them to lower their heads so she can remove their halters and bits. "Oh better idea! Lead one, follow me!"

She leads a horse out of the camp and into the woods. When the camp is out of sight, she works on removing the tack and piling it to the side. "All of the leather, together." She lets her horse go, then goes back to get another.

Once all of the unwanted gear is in one pile, she works to burn it. If the horses don't leave the area on their own, she will cast cause fear on the one that seems to lead the others.

The night and the day passes as you hide the wagon, get rid of tracks, hide bodies, burn stuff ect...

DM, once we begin to her the sound of what we think are the Bandits returning, Colvin will begin to summon creatures to throw at the Bandits to soften them up as he waits in the trees. This time HE will have the high ground!

Digging sounds dangerous what if you disturb the one below?

How about we say you have plenty of time to dig, set and prepare for the bandits return?

Including mostly cutting a tree down to fall if you like.

I will roll randomly when the bandits arrive to see if they are caught or in the clear.....

In the morning of the fifth day two groups of riders approach the camp from the direction of Oleg's....

The lead group is outpacing the second group. They draw nearer...

You guys have one round to buff, summon, and make sure you are well hidden take 10 or 20 if you like...before the riders arrive and before I determine whether or not there is a surprise round....

The first group of riders cantor in on horseback....they had expected a greeting from the watch so they come in slow. Somehow incredibly they miss the covered pits the caltrops and are not even under the tree trap.

(Surprise round) Gufi will attempt to get close and hit as many as will fit in a 15' cone with Color Spray. Will save DC 15.

stealth: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (1) + 16 = 17

It is unlikely that he can stay hidden with that crappy roll. He will instead use the first round to move past the tree trap to lure them into it, weapon ready.

He'll still get sneak attack, since they haven't gone yet. He casts Ray of Frost at the nearest rider to him.

ranged touch: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

crit: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23

cold damage: 2d3 + 4 + 1d6 ⇒ (1, 2) + 4 + (2) = 9

Hmm. I'll take it. Not bad for a 0 level spell!
