Okay, I'm back. Sorry it took so long to fix my character to play. I've been very busy with work and family and have had no time to do the updating. I think its finally fixed right. Jim please check it out and let me know. I hope its right, I'd love to start playing. I'm afraid that i have caused a rocky start. Hopefully this gets us back on track.
Its all good. A stop like that would be a serious blow to most games but since its a small group and we all kinda know each other it is easy to jump start again.

Yeah I guessed that. I also think I blew the opportunity to use channel energy when they brought me back to the cell. Now if I use it ide kill our cell mate with the guards.
I have a question too. Spell like abilities: do we need to use components and is it a free action or a standard?
A spell-like ability has no verbal, somatic, or material component, nor does it require a focus. Expensive material components however, if any, are still required. An example of that would be the diamond needed to cast resurrection. Casting them is typically a standard action
You must be so frustrated with us. It took me weeks to figure out that the veil was the thing I needed. So obvious that I completely over looked it.

The veil in your possession has patches on it. If you rip a patch off it turns into an item. One of the patches is of a set of thieves tools. There is a way out, but I'm kind of stumped as to what to do because HunYet is the only one who knows about it.

yur cell mates have spellcraft, and one of them is trained in disable. he's to weak to fight his way out afterward, but he should be able to pick the locks for you.

Sorry I haven't updated yet guys. Working pretty long hours while I'm out of town and I'm super tired. Reading or resolving actions is a difficult task with the major poo brain I got goin on right now. I bet Iv'e barely slept 8 hours in 3 days. Answering his question obviously isn't important, just a bit of roleplay as I prepare a map, which we will be using a program called ditzie to view. It's very simple. Instructions on how to use it are listed under the Campaign Info tab, but I will also explain here as we go
Unfortunately the map program doesn't work well on mobile devices. You can view the map from mobile, but must be on a PC to move your token. If you want to view the map from a mobile device, simply click on the link. Here's how it works in all it's splendor on a PC-
All you have to do is click and hold to move your piece, then drag it wherever you want and drop it. The next part is important. When you are done click enter. If you pay attention to the address bar you will notice clicking enter refreshes the web address. Copy this new web address and include it in a link in your Gameplay post. The next person to go will click your link to view the map, and then will repeat the same process:)

I'm a little confused with our order of tasks. Do we move our pawns on the map to where we want to go after the door is open?
right now theres no initiative, so you can move whenever you want, but id like to make sure you guys understand how to save the map after you move and post a link to the newly saved version before we go any further because you will have to do it every time you move from here on out

I can view the map with my phone but can not move the pawn.
if I down load it the phone converts it into a pdf and also doesn't function.

Okay I just did a read through and noticed that there are three posts missing. Nothing but dialog, but the only action missing is Ramsaq handing me the holy symbol so that I could cast the Infernal Healing.
And the url was the original image and not the new one.

lol, its ok, this is why i wanted to do a quick trial run in discussion. make sure after you move your piece to hit ENTER on the keyboard. it will cause the address bar in your browser to refresh with a new address. this new address is the one you pot into the link
One thing that kinda sucks is that some of the functions on these map programs don't work on mobile devices. I've used a couple and neither one allowed me to move pieces from my phone. I could view the map, just couldn't move pieces. But from a PC they work great. What we usually do is if you need to move but are posting from a mobile device then you just describe where you want to move to and then the GM will move you on his turn
Yeah that totally sucks, but if your willing to move us on your turn then I'm cool with that.
Ill try to use the computer more often. The mobile is clunky. Also, I think I'm missing as much as six posts. I think i may have been just previewing and not submitting on the mobile.

I don't think labeling your post as explicit is necessary since its just us, but if you were to join another pbp game in the future I would definitely reccomend check with that group on how they would like to handle it.

Ransaq's waiting until the GM knows if the group understands how maps work or not, that's why I asked so many times. I believe you have it down, but may need me to move you if you can't get to a PC, correct? Dustin hasn't answered at all yet though, but I will see him in person tomorrow.

Correct, We are going to require you to move us when we are on mobile devices. I think we can manage this.
