Eric Erebus |

"Understood. I shall be returning to my room to tend to my weapons and armor,"" says Eric with a low bow before making his way to his room.

Nahia |

Sorry for the wall of text, but it is three days worth of stuff to describe.
Nahia ponders the words of Cardinal Thorn as he leaves the room.
”...different work for the Mighty One…”, well, that sounds ominous. It’s too bad. Grumblejack was useful, and I still owe him his treat. And that girl, the one with the eyes similar to mine… that is not a common trait. She seemed to have powers similar to mine as well. Hmm, maybe I will get to find out more of her, if she hasn’t already been sacrificed yet.
As Tiadora explains the details of their situation, Nahia looks out over the slaves and thinks to herself.
I like the way these people think, though I do wish I could spend some time outside. I’ve been locked up in that prison for days and in dungeons and wagons before that. The swamp wasn’t too bad but I didn’t really get the chance to properly commune with it either. But at least I can finally relax for a while.
Nahia will look at Tiadora at the offer of companion slaves and grins before saying, ”I’ll definitely take you up on that offer.” Looking into the slaves eyes and seeing the same empty stare she will again look at Tiadora and say ”Can you teach me how to do that? I already have something like it but not anything nearly so… long lasting. Also, am I allowed to bring in my own slaves, should I acquire them?”
- - - - - - - - - -
After being prompted by the slave, Nahia turns to him and says, ”Equipment? Well, it would be helpful if I knew what we were preparing for, not that I expect one such as you to have that information. Here, I shall provide a list to make it easy on you.”
Specifics about the list will be left in the other thread.
- - - - - - - - - -
Nahia spends the first day resting. It has been a rough couple of weeks and she is exhausted. She will take full advantage of the slaves, giving her “companion” slave hardly a moment to rest at times, barely getting out of her comfortable bed and spending her time reading and napping. She avails herself to whatever food and drink is offered, indulging readily, satiating an appetite that has grown over weeks of bland porridge.
That first night Nahia will wander about the manor wearing an exquisite gossamer dress, looking for the best window from which to see the moon. There, she will kneel upon the floor, bathed in moonlight, her hands upon her knees, her eyes closed but her head tilted upwards, her face expressionless. She will kneel there for several hours, barely moving, her focus inward, her will completely centered on herself. Then, slowly, her lips will grow into a smile, and after a few minutes her eyes will open. She will bring her arms up and hug herself before rising and walking back to her room.
The second day Nahia is much more active. After having a decadent breakfast of fruit and sweets in bed she will put on a white linen sun dress with red trim, walking barefoot. She will find a spot in the manor in which to set up the alchemist lab that was stolen from what was known as Brandescar Prison. There, Nahia and her little snake will spend some time getting acquainted with the tools, their quality, their weight, setting them up just so. She and the serpent will then spend most of the day grinding, mixing, stewing, diluting, and even chanting.
Afterwards Nahia will find a comfortable spot near a fireplace and resume her reading for a bit, savor a bit of pipe tobacco. Afterwards, she will enjoy a fine meal, with fine wine, before enjoying a nice soak in a hot bath. That night she will repeat her ritual, the same as before, except that her hands will be cupped in front of her, the tiny viper in them, his muzzle pressed to her forehead. And like before, after hours of stillness, she will smile and open her eyes, before kissing the serpent on the muzzle. Afterwards she will return to her room.
On the third day Nahia will have a more conservative breakfast of fruits and breads. Then she will spend the morning in the lab again, though not for as long as she did the day before. Afterwards, she will don a pair of black silken breeches, a similarly constructed, snugly fitting top that shows off her midriff and a pair of tall leather boots. She will spend the afternoon in a large, clear room of the manor performing stretches, agility exercises, and practicing her dancing. Afterwards she will reward herself with another warm bath and a sensible dinner, though with honey baked nuts for dessert. She will then retire to her room for the rest of the night, resting before whatever training is to commence the next day.
Note: This is a general outline of the three days, assuming that our requested gear arrives some time early day two or sooner. Also, Nahia will be perfectly willing to chat with anyone, though she won’t seek anyone out. The only time she will turn someone away is during her bath time and the rituals those two nights. Though if she sees Grumblejack she will definitely take the time to speak with him and to present him with a gift.

Nahia |

Nahia will smile at Tiadora, before answering "Well, of course it may be moot if we do not stay here, but I also don't know how long training will take, and I wouldn't want to violate any rules of the house."
Yes, I like their style indeed. Though I wonder where we might be sent? And how long this reprieve will last?

DM Aku |

On the first day, you see others in the manor. The master is nowhere to be found. Tiadora you see her sometimes. Aside the slaves, there's another group in the manor. They are called White Ravens(a witch, a barbarian, a ranger and a cleric). Grumblejack, Marsella and Lyza are also in the manor. Grublejack is quite happy, he was also given a slave.

NPC - Grumblejack |

The ogre seens healthier. His wounds are gone, but he still do not look at top of his str. He has now a proper armor and a weapon.
"Ah, Coloreye un' this other un' is funny." he says pointing to the slave. "Do everything Grumblejack says. Un, you are a dog now!" growl the ogre and the slave starts to bark as a dog.
The ogre laugh. You see he is enjoying himself, and don't appears that he will 'eat' his slave.

Nahia |

Nahia approaches Grumblejack, smiling and saying "Well aren't you just smiling all nice a big. Found another snack have ya? Naw, he's just skin and bones. Yeah, I've got one of my own. He's definitely handy when I need a step up to the taller shelves." Nahia will giggle lightly at all of this.
She'll turn bring out a jug and hold it towards him "And this is for you, for helping us escape. I told you I owed you a treat. Just a bit of very hard apple cider for you."
How do the White Ravens act around us/me? Standoffish, friendly, indifferent?

NPC - Grumblejack |

"Elfy, Grumblejack did not forget. But the meal Grumblejack wants he right in front of him!" he says with what you think is a wicked smile.
"Dog!" he barks, and then take a huge mouthful of the cider "Take this to Grumblejack room. No drinking it, or Grumblejack will drink your blood instead!" says him, but you know he is really having fun with his slave. No chance there of the poor one turns up in a meal.

Nahia |

Nahia will grin at Grumblejack and say "And I still hold to that to. Should I fall forever, you may still feast on me. Of course, that may go both ways."

DM Aku |

Zerik |

Zerik spends the time mostly keeping to himself. He informs the slave of the list of items that he will need. Tiadora isn't to be found most of the time but on one occasion he inquires whether it would be prudent to purchase a mount for their next mission.
Zerik wakes early each morning before the sun rises he goes out into garden and starts with a sword drill to warm himself up, followed with a rigorous physical regime pushing his strength, endurance and agility. After working up an appetite he returns to the manor for breakfast, spending the afternoons exploring the manor and observing the other group.
He spends the evenings practicing archery and sparing with Erik. "He has much talent with the blade but he must hone his skill. His style is rudimentary but effective. His faith is strong, he fights with zeal and will be a great warrior one day, if he lives long enough."
He returns to the manor, cleaning and checking his equipment before taking a bath and joining the others for dinner. "It is good to eat well once again, I can feel my strength returning to me again."

Nahia |

On the second day, Nahia will approach the witch and introduce herself, "Hello, I am Nahia, and I am surprised to see another of... our kind around here. Are you also here in the service of Cardinal Thorn?"

NPC - Tiadora |

"Dearest. I'm not to say the masters plans. But I can advise against buying a horse. You'll not be able to use it in your training."
Just one thing I want to clarify. When I said other plans, I was thinking only in Marsella and Lyza. Grumbly Grumbly is still avaliable as a allie of your group.

DM Aku |

These npcs may be important later, but I'll not create a alias for then now.
"Hello Nahia. I'm called Elise." after thinking on your question for a bit she continues "Master Thorn saw fit to recruit the White Ravens after he saw how sucessfull we were in raiding that paladin tomb. And who would refuse a chance to bring down the followers of the sun god?"

Nahia |

Nodding at Elise, Nahia will continue, "It is a pleasure Elise. And I am sure you are most highly qualified if Master Thorn saw fit to make you and your band an offer. And do let me saw that that is such an excellent example of a white raven. He looks very noble." Nahia will look with honest wonderment at the bird before continuing "If I may ask, have you been working for Master Thorn very long?"

Nahia |

Reaching up to stroke the serpent with her hand, Nahia will say "Well thank you, Andros is a wonderful companion. And we, too, are about to undergo training. Mayhaps we will end up training together or combining resources to better dominate the Mitrans? We seem to be from two different styles of the sisterhood, so I am sure we have much we can learn from each other."

Seren Little |

Seren marvels at the iron circlet. Good start. She slowly lowers the band onto her head, willing it to disguise the rotting parts of her body. Seren dashes towards a nearby mirror, marveling at her perfect skin again. Maybe this wasn't such a bad choice.
Seren spends the first day mostly in here room, ordering her slave to get her food and drink periodically. She spends the day playing with the circlet, transfixed on her body appearing whole again. The day quickly waste away, most of it spent in front of the mirror.
The second day Seren spends slowly walking through the manor, taking mental notes on the various pictures and decorations littering the place. After the bustle of the escape Seren enjoys a day of doing nothing, of being free of the confines of the church, prisons, and everything else. The contract ways heavily on her mind, but after the first gift she is starting to see the benefits that it may provide.
The final day Seren sets aside to commune with her Dark Lord, re-affirming her desire and commitment to him. With her breastplate and Shield arriving she spends the afternoon getting accustomed to the new gear that the Cardinal was nice enough to procure.

Nahia |

Nahias grin will grow when Elise says sister. She nods and responds "As far as my talents, I lean more towards mental disciplines, placing thoughts and emotions, with a few utility effects. And while our companions share rites perhaps we could share a bit of Wine? I've only got a small selection, but I believe them to be quite good."

DM Aku |

@Seren
As you walk in the manor, you see lots of slaves, Tiadora some times, and you see that there's another grounp staying at the manor. Nahia, also known as Adanna is talking to one of then. A beaultiful white clad woman. With a white raven in her shoulders.

Eric Erebus |

Going to try to catch up before my samples come out this morning. Stil down the same staff members...
With the start of the first new day, Eric hands his list to the servant that follows him. He makes certain that the weapons and armor are of the utmost priorities. Eric watches and tries to imitate some of the training Zerik puts himself through; though Eric has no where near the grace nor endurance to keep up with him. During the heat of the day, Eric takes to trying to learn more about Asmodeus, looking for any books, asking questions from Tiadora when she is available, and praying to the god himself. As the cool of the evening comes, Eric spars with Zerik. Though his movements lack the finer skills, Eric tries to use his strength and anger to his advantage, though the bouts do not go as well as Eric plans. Eric keeps the holy symbol around his neck at all times, even as he sleeps.
The second and third days continue much like the first. Though Eric has much to learn and some things are difficult to grasp, his natural ability of observance allows him to gain insight as to how better accomplish his goals. And whenever mimicry fails, Eric uses anger with a touch of flair to see him through. Whenever Zerik is busy, Eric takes to watching the ranger and the barbarian from the White Ravens; however, he seems to prefer the barbarian's methods of strength and brawn over the more graceful, calculated strikes of the ranger and Zerik.
Otherwise leaving the White Ravens to their own devices, Eric does approach the cleric in order to hopefully gain a better understanding of both his own faith as well as the cleric's.
"Greetings, I am Eric, son of Erebus, and devotee of Asmodeus," he introduces himself to the cleric.

NPC - Cardinal Adrastus Thorn |

Write down your questions to Tiadora. And I'll see if they will be answered.
Or you went to your room, or Elise insisted you go to hers. The more privacy, the better she says.
Spell 1: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29 x DC 19
Spell 2: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26 x DC 19
After some hours of happy chatting, historys, jokes and wine, Elise will at some point caress your face and says "Tell me Nahia, aren't you tired of those slaves? It's not the same thing if they are doing it on orders..."
After the three days, you are once again summoned by Cardinal Thorn:
“Have you enjoyed your gifts? The iron circlets allow you to move amongst your enemies as one of them. The silver amulets will remind you of your true loyalties. And the other items – well, you need them now.
“You have done well to escape from Branderscar and to accept my offer. However, you are still not ready for my service. Tiadora will lead you to the basement of this domicile. There you will find nine chambers each more dangerous than the last. Somewhere hidden within these chambers is a pendant of silver and sapphire. Recover the pendant and bring it to me. Let nothing and no one stand in your way.”
He stands up and looks out of the manor house window across the grey moor. “It’s almost dusk. You have until dusk tomorrow to bring me my prize. Do not fail me.”
Cardinal Thorn takes a seat at his desk.

NPC - Tiadora |

Tiadora arrives right on cue. “This way,” is all she says.
The master will not answer any question. Tiadora maybe.
If you want, you can ask her questions or do something else. Just do it inside a spoiler.
Grumblejack was not with you. I'm assuming his is not here now.
Tiadora leads you to a set of stairs. “Below you will find the Nine Lessons.”

Eric Erebus |

Everything would just be general questions to Tiadora while trying to learn more about Asmodeus. This was more for me to put another rank into Knowledge: religion.
"Please, tell me more about the Prince. I have not had the chance to learn much about our lord. I feel that if I am to serve him properly, I must learn more about him," says Eric to Trik.
"Is there anything else that any of you require?" asks Eric to his friends. "With only a day, I feel that we should try to travel light, so best we take only what might be needed."

Nahia |

Nahia will then lead Elise to her room, "Please, make yourself comfortable and do whatever you may need to make your companion comfortable as well." Nahia herself will gather a small blanket, which she will fold up into a pallet for Andros. She will also take out and light a small amount of incense.
After the animals have gotten themselves prepared, and once the slave has arrived with the accoutrements, Nahia will pull out a few bottle of wine, asking Elise if she prefers white or red. After wine has been poured discussion will commence.
...
Nahia will seem surprised at Elise's touch and will blush deeply at her comment. Affected by the wine and still recovering from her surprise, Nahias speech will stutter and falter a bit before regaining her composure, ”Ah, well, yes, though there is something exciting about about it, I have also always assumed that the mind addling magic takes away from the experience… though, honestly, I don’t really have the experiences to compare.”
And like several times in her past, Nahias naturally flirtatious manner gets her into a precarious situation. : )
Entering the chamber of Cardinal Thorn, Nahia wears a silk, form fitting choli. Red and white threads entwine with the primarily black weave of the garment, forming intricate patterns of flowers and thorned vines on a black background. Her ankle length lehenga is similarly adorned, patterned with flowers and vines, with the hem thickly embroidered, and decorated with beads of colored glass. On occasion, from beneath her skirt peeks her matte black, soft leather knee high boots, the silver buckles running up the length of her leg keeping them reliably snug. She wears black silk arm warmers, tied just above mid bicep with a red ribbon, that fall down her arm to drape like wide sleeves just past her wrists. Her long black hair sways behind her and a circlet of bright silver, perhaps mithril, hangs upon her head, also taking the form of thorned vines. Several multifaceted rubies hang from its thorns, as if they were drawing blood. Thrown over her shoulder is a crimson silk haversack, embroidered with black brocade patterns of plants.
In a good mood from the last couple of days, Nahia barely holds back a smile as she thinks to herself.
The nine lessons... why does everything always sound so ominous. When I have my own palace I'm going to have to give things such names too. The accursed gardens. The dining room of gluttonous delights. The smoking parlor of malfeasance.
- - - - -
In front of the stairs, Nahia turns to her companions and says, ”To help ensure our victory I have taken the time to prepare some things for everyone.” She hands Eric and Zerik each a steel vial and a flask containing a green liquid saying ”Here, the steel vials will heal your wounds and the green tonic will make you more resistant to toxins for a while.” To Eric she hands a flask with two liquids in it, one red and one yellow, saying ”And this is classic alchemical fire.” To Zerik she hands a flask containing a clear liquid, telling him ”And this is a strong acid for dissolving flesh.”
Nahia will also hand Eric and Zerik a jar containing a silver paste, saying ”The paste can be baked onto your weapons, arrows, or bolts to let them harm those weak to silver, but it will only work once.” To Zerik and to Seren she will hand a flask containing a viscous, faintly glowing, neon green liquid, saying ”And this is a very strong dye. When it is placed on something it will create a stain that both glows in the dark and that lasts for a couple of weeks.”
Finally, she will pull out a handful of tindertwigs and give everyone two, commenting with a smile ”And some tindertwigs just in case we need to set something on fire.”
Nahia will then comment, "I am prepared, as far as I can tell."
Just handing out the items mentioned before.
Also, having prepared my combat spell list.

NPC - Tiadora |

As long you are willing to hear, he will talk about his faith, Asmodeus and the purge of the Mitran faith. He is a nice person. A bit funny, easy going, and with a jovial atitude. If you for his obvious zealot devotion to Asmodeus, you would think he was more like a Mitran cleric than a servant of the Fallen One.
"It's time then, I give you something to serve as basis for comparison..." If you will stop her, better do it now, Else I'll just assume that it happend. No need to put on details here. :D
"Why dearest." she says to Nahia "You can do whatever you want, and use whatever you like. Be creative." she stops for some seconds, as if thinking in something and then she says "The others, Marsella and Lyza, are doing a different kind of training. Grumblejack is still playing with his slave, I gather."

Nahia |

Didn't see all of that coming when I started talking to her. Nahia is flirtatious in general, the same way that she is "warm and kind", mostly as a way to help her get what she wants (positive and protective feeling from Grumblejack, for example). Normally, she would just keep stringing them along, but Elise is lucky because she's a witch (which earns her more respect in Nahias eyes), a part of this Asmodeus movement (which still gives Nahia warm fuzzies for some reason), and Nahia has both been imprisoned recently and is somewhat concerned about her future.
After Tiadoras statement, Nahia will look at the others and say with a grin, "Well, do we want to bring the big 'un along?"

Seren Little |

While sitting in quiet contemplation seeking his power, a small mouse runs to her from the open window dissolving into a powder just as it reaches her. A smile splayed across Seren's face. Thank you Dark Lord, this shall be fun.
Feeling the swell of new power Seren travels out into the manor, coming across one of the "White Ravens", a ranger. "Greetings, I had not expected to see other groups in the manor, though I suppose I should not have been surprised. Asmodeus has always been one to have a backup plan..., or eight." Seren contemplates aloud.
"Name's Seren, Pleasure to be with others that recognize Asmodeus' divine power. I trust your journey to the manor was far less taxing then our own?"
Back to reality I suppose
I will need a moment to collect my armor and weaponry from my room but otherwise, I tend to agree with you Eric that we should likely travel light. Speed seems to be of the essence. Seren responds.
She departs quickly towards her room, her silken dress flowing behind her. Once in her room she dons her armor and weapons, gathering what few belongings she has and heads back towards the group. Loads Wand of Cure light Wounds into the Wrist Sheath
It all looks so simple... Seren pauses for a moment before meeting back with the group, willing the magic out of her circlet. Where once their was a simple steel breastplate now resides a form fitting ivory chestpiece, her upper body appearing to be encased in bone, the symbol of Asmodeus etched in a blood red indentation across her bust. The circlet takes on the form of two twisting bones, perfectly circling her unblemished face, her veil seamlessly flowing from them to fall lightly in-front of her face. Her blonde hair flows freely around the bones, falling lightly on her shoulders. Playing with her two nondescript sleeves a black dress materializes under the armor, accentuating the heavenly curves that her birth provided. A large slit forms in the dress, stopping at her waist, her black boots peeking out though the slit. She takes a few quick movements ensuring that her new dress provides her with the necessary freedom of movement, and easy access to the crossbow holstered to her thigh. Satisfied with her appearance, Seren returns to her waiting companions.
Asmodeus has finally provided me with the ability to cover the repercussions that came with his divine gift and I plan to utilize it to its fullest.
"Ready." She states as she come back to them.
"If the big guy wants to come I wouldn't oppose it, Ada..Nahia. Kinda like the big brute." Seren responds to Nahia. She looks over the vial as Nahia hands them to her, a wicked smile on her face as she places them within the open maw of the large skull buckled to her breastplate. Let us see what these "nine lessons" are.

DM Aku |

Nahia |

Smiling at Seren, Nahia will respond, "Sorry about the name change. I was taken in under an alias and, considering everything, I thought it pertinent to keep up the ruse. But yes, my name is Nahia."

Seren Little |

"Well that was odd...Note to self: don't bother with the ranger." Seren thinks aloud. Wonder what he is talking about
Seren walks around pondering the rangers cryptic accusation. Coming across Tiadora she relays what the ranger said, curious if she has any additional insight into what he was talking about.
"Fair enough. Probably should have done similar... Something about assuming we were going to die in there left me not in a particularly secretive mood." Seren replies to Nahia.

DM Aku |

Nahia |

Assuming that her time with Elise before was a... pleasant experience... if Elise approaches her while she is working in her lab or during her exercise, she will tell her, with a warm smile, "I need to make sure that I am prepared for my training tomorrow, but shortly after sundown I'll freshen up from my tasks and then be having dinner, if you'd like to join me."
Also, when they spend time talking, Nahia would be interested in learning more about her, especially how she came to be a witch. Nahia would ask her, "So, how did you come to your calling, to the sisterhood?"
- - - - -
When it comes to the ranger, Nahia would try to approach him about the staring. Since he blows her off Nahia will refrain from approaching him again, but will bring it up the next time she talks with Elise, saying "A question for you: It seems that one of your fellows, the archer, has some issue with me. He has been staring quite a lot and when I went to speak to him about it he refused to speak with me. Is something wrong?"

DM Aku |

Yeah, it was good. Strange, but good. The more you think about it, more you realize how good it was. Remembering makes you feel a little bit strange, but yeah it was good.
"Ah, don't mind him my love." she says huging your tenderly "He has been trying to get inside my pants for some time now. I think he will never forgive you, after all, you stole me from him." she says with a wicked smile, and kissing you one more time.
"You know, I was born to it. In the iced north, there were legends about my birth. Winter, my raven, as I'm told, was already present when I was born. I was raised with him. He always were there for me. I know nothing else aside what he taught me."
"I don't know what the master has in store for us tomorrow, but I don't think the master will let us stay like this." she seens to be reflecting in something then she says "Let's keep in touch. There are magical ways we can use to comunicate."

Seren Little |

4 posts in a row basically all in spoiler tags... you do enjoy being cruel to me DM Aku. Especially now that I finally caught on that damn ranger was talking about Nahia...

DM Aku |

So, do your spoiler to! And talk to Nahia. Just one thing: The spoiler tag do not means that what happens is a secret, It just to separe what is happening now to what happened in the manor. I do not mind if you read it. You guys can fairly guess what is happening with everyone else. It's after all, not a all big manor...

Nahia |

Though Nahia will ponder Elise's comment.
Only here for a couple of days and already my actions are causing strife. I wonder if maybe this is related to my heritage? For my presence to cause discord? Hmm, and she has grown close to me rather quickly, as quickly as I've become "attached" to men in the past. I wonder if she is up to something? Well, I'll keep my eye on her, though it doesn't mean that I can't enjoy myself in the mean time.
Why do I get the feeling that I am being manipulated. :D
- - - - -
Nahia listens intently to Elise's story, before responding "It seems funny that we all seem fated to become what we are. Andros did not enter into my life until a few years ago, but I was obviously being groomed for this power, and I would never have imagined the series of events that lead me down this path."
"Unfortunately, I agree with your concern. And yes, I would very much like to keep in touch. We'll find a way." Nahia will say with a smile.
@Seren, and it would have been 5 if you hadn't broken my combo. : )

Seren Little |

Seren looks sympathetically at Grumblejack.
"Trust me, it is not an ability to be jealous of." She responds, letting the circlets magic fade and her ravashed and rotting body reveal itself again. "This was the price of my devotion and magic, getting to watch my body rot from within."
"If you still want to learn though, I can guide you, and I will do so to the best of my ability. I warn you though, it will not be a pretty nor a fun path to take." Seren warns the Ogre.
Poor Grumblejack, I don't think you are made out to be a caster.
lol, I finally get to break one of your and Aku's combos! not going to get to 20 posts this time *insert evil laugh*. Oh, and I retract my comment, well no I don't but reading the illicit sexy times of Nahia all in one go was pretty scandalous. I'd be lying if I said it didn't feel good to open up those spoiler tags not directed at me.
Learning little from Tiadora, Seren slowly meanders the halls of the Manor. It's not until she passes Nahia's room that the ranger's message finally makes sense. Oh Nahia, just what kind of trouble did you get into.
Seren heads to Nahia's lab hoping to find her at work with whatever she was concocting down there. Assuming your there. Seren approaches Nahia.
"What did you due to that ranger that's been kicking around the manor? Guy was all sorts of pissed off with you. Not that I mind you upsetting him...Was actually kinda entertaining." Seren asks, recalling her conversation from earlier that day.

Nahia |

Glad that you're enjoying it. : )
And yeah, I assume anything that absolutely should not be read about someone will be handled through PMs or something like that.
"That's an interesting story. Well, I was getting to know one of our companions, Elise, the one with the gorgeous white raven, and, well, let's just say that we got a bit... friendly," Nahia will tell Seren, pausing briefly on that last word before continuing, "And, well, it turns out that he has been carrying a torch for the woman for some time, and, having gotten nowhere himself, is quite a bit... jealous?... Resentful?... of me because of it."

Seren Little |

really? Cool. Thinking about it, he would make a serious bad ass scarred witch doctor Witch. I imagine an ogre has a decent Con Score...plus it just seems like a great visual.
"Alright, then let us head to a quiet place and start the process."Seren states, leading Grumblejack back to her room.
Sitting with Grumblejack Seren begins "The first thing to realize is these powers are not just from me, my Lord Asmodeus is the one who provides me with this power; he shares a fraction of his divine power with me. Before we can truly begin your training in the divine arts, you must find a connection your God." Seren teaches, pulling out her holy symbol, allowing dark power to flow through her, the energy coalescing around the symbol in dark waves.
"If you can find that connection we can discuss how to go about turning that divine favor into the power that I have shown you."
Seren bursts out laughing. "Oh that is wicked, well done. That is far better then what I had imagined happened. Here I was thinking you said something to upset him. But stealing his love? oh that is well and truly a far better story. Oh, this shall definitely be something fun to watch in action."

Nahia |

I know this is a very bad idea, but Nahia has not always been known for wise decisions when it comes to her entertainment. I just really hope he doesn't kill me in my sleep. :/

Zerik |

Zerik does his best to be ready at all times even in the manor. When they are called upon to enter the basement he has few preparations to make. He carries all his gear with him, preferring to be ready for anything.

DM Aku |

The first time you provoked him, you see him stiffen as if someone has hitted him with a sword. The second time, the barbarian was with him and talked him out of doing anything stupid. But the third time you were alone with him.
"Your time ends now, b!$*@!" he says.
He prepares his bow and when he is about to shoot, Tiadora appears out of the blue.
"Dearest, this is the way you repay the master hospitality? In this disgraceful manner? Please drop your bow now."
The ranger look lost of what to do for some seconds, before leaving the room without saying anything.
Then Tiadora turns to you.
"Why you little devil. I see you have been practicing. Just be careful to not bite more than you can chew. It would be a shame if next time I would be busy and not able to intervene."
You go into the manor, and call Grumblejack to help you. He is cheerful about helping you again.
I'll need a marching order.
A set of stone stairs leads down, through an archway and into an unfurnished chamber beyond. Inscribed upon the archway in the common tongue is: “Deception is a tool. Self-deception is death. Deceive always thy enemy but never thyself.” The room beyond is lit by a small oil lantern hanging from the center of the chamber.
There is a doorway east.

Nahia will respond to Tiadora, saying "You make a good point. I know little of his skill and should be more careful... But it is just so fun." Nahia will smile at Tiadora and say "But thank you for intervening. I am sure that the Master has plans for him and I would hate for my actions or his ire to cause any distress."
I like how the barbarian had to tell him to calm down. :D
When Grumblejack is brought forth, Nahia will smile at him and say "Big 'Un! I'm glad that you could join us. I have something for you!" Nahia will then hand him a jar with a silver paste and a couple of tindertwigs. "Cover your weapon with the paste and bake it on a fire and the next hit will hurt creatures weak to silver, even if they normally resist such blows."
Upon seeing the carving in the archway, Nahia thinks to herself.
Self-deception is death? What would we be convincing ourselves of... fooling ourselves into thinking it is true?
Nahia will say to her companions, "I know that this is probably obvious, but we should be careful here and take it slow. We have some time and things are not as they same here."
My position looks good.

Zerik |

Zerik steps forward drawing his mighty blade. Reading the words he thinks, "How true, but it is whoever that is down here that shall be meeting death very soon" with a slight smile spreading across his face. He heeds Nahia's warning and proceeds towards the eastern doorway, slowly and stealthily, carefully looking for any traps along the way.
The order as it is looks good to me.

DM Aku |

Eldred after working with his tools, the door opens to a bricked up wall.
Carved upon the wall inside the pit near the bottom is the phrase: “Thou wert deceived. Pain is thy reward.”
After discovering the door was false, you look the rest of the room for hidden doors. But you was not able to find one.
