Jeger
Watching the scene, Jeger is glad that he isn't the one who gets to explain the situation, yet again, to yet another individual after such a long day. Silently wishing Lindynt luck, he returns to his room to get fully cleaned up. A formal audience may or may not be forthcoming, but either way, it was best to be prepared.
Lindynt Auroral
"By all means, make yourself at home my Lady. However I'll warn you that the Keep is likely not in the same condition is was the last you visited," Lindynt calls ahead as Ionia leads her honor guard into the castle.
After listening to Ser Rouren the former Knight replies earnestly, "I have no cause to raise steel against you, brother, so let us hope that it does not come to that end."
After watching Lady Olistad's cavalcade disappear behind the walls, Lindynt hastily makes towards Vance and the others. "I wish it had been you to have left and not your brother. You always seem to know how to make a bad situation worst." He turns back a few paces, heaves a sigh and runs his cold mailed hands over the base of his neck. "I'm I the only one to find it odd that all of these people would show up NOW of all times? As if we know enough to explain to them what is happening here!"

Ser Gillem walks up to you "There are greater things in motion and they are but pawns, I can see that... I just wonder for whom and if they know" as he walks by continuing to mumble to himself other incoherent things like gravity and randomly saying... well true things just nothing that makes sense now.

"If 'dont pester them' means 'spend less time around arrogant idiots' I don't think you need to worry about me disobeying orders. I'll be up in the library trying to do something useful. Send for me if you need someone called out on their b$~*##$~."

The library might not be extensive but you can probably find some spells you might not know if you really put your time into it.
Roll 1d100 please
Later on in the afternoon one of the guards comes to seek Lindynt and Jeger out as Lady Ionia wants an audience with both present.
The kobold leader approaches Akela with the same pleads of speaking with Lindynt to be presented to Lady Ionia.
Tybalt and Vance are in the library unless Tybalt wishes to interact during the Audience or be present in that scene.
Akela the Wolf
Lindynt, in this audience accusations and rancor will be level at you concerning the Kobold tribe. I would ask that the chief be there with you to help meet them as they come.
Pulling him away from prying eyes, Akela continues more softly.
And one more thing, I will be there as well if I can, but watch.
Akelas form blurs and melts into that of a Dog, who stares up knowingly at the Knight.

While searching the library your hands take grasp over a small book called "Libram Zerstörung I"
Zerstörung was an ancient wizard known for his powerful lightning magicks, this being one of his diaries and stories that he left behind so those who wish to follow his path may learn from his travels, as he was never fond of having students in the normal way.
Things you may learn from the book:
Level 1.- Shocking Grasp
Level 2.- Lightning Ray (Scorching Ray, but Electric damage instead)
Metamagic Feat:
Prismatic Spells.
Prerequisites: Knowledge Arcana 5 ranks, Spellcraft 5 ranks.
Benefit When you learn this feat, select one energy type (acid, cold, electricity, or fire). Any spell causing damage of this type can be changed into doing damage of any of the other types instead. Spell effects other than elemental damage will not change. A prismatic energy spell uses a spell slot of the spell’s normal level, modified by any other metamagic feats.

"Send for me if you need someone called out on their b##%%!*!."
"I'll be sure to keep that in mind..."
"Lindynt, in this audience accusations and rancor will be level at you concerning the Kobold tribe. I would ask that the chief be there with you to help meet them as they come."
"When the time comes, I'll summon the Kobolds to the War Room where all these upcoming issues can be laid out and discussed publicly. At the moment, however, I must sit down with our latest arrival and explain to her what has happened to the best of my ability." Lindynt explains, visibly unenthused at the thought.
After 'The Wolf' morphs into a dog and scampers off after the Lady and her knights, Lindynt takes a moment to himself to prepare for the encounter then heads into the War Room to greet Lady Olistad.
Ionia Olistan
Moments later there is a knock on the door to enter the War Room as one of the Knights open the door "Lady Ionia Olistan" as she looks rather pretty now that you actually get to look at her, but sadness and anger can still be seen in her eyes, despite her blue dress.
"Lord Auroral, if I can call you that... I wish to see proof of this claim and what has happened in this lands?" as she cordially signals if she can seat herself on the other end of the table waiting for your approval while one of the knights is ready to move the chair for her to seat once given.
Vance & Tybalt
You have a very wary feeling, but you just can't figure out why, it's just one of those times you know there is something wrong but you can't figure it out.
Lindynt Auroral
"Please," Lindynt tells her graciously, lifting an open gesture to the seat. "Had I any sort of formal proof that my claims are true I would present them to you immediately. Unfortunately all I can offer is what ghastly remains you'll find scattered about each and every hall in this keep."
Lindynt walks uneasily to the throne, "It was here that Lord Reinholdt... ascended to the beyond with a women a priest identified as an 'aspect' of Faia. He achieved grievous injuries while engaged in battle with some sort of zodiac demon-spawn. In return for his bravery, his Goddess saw fit to title him as a champion to her name and recruited him to what cause she holds on her plane. Wreathed in fire, he bequeathed me the honor of his lands and titles just seconds before disappearing. I do not know what faith you and your company keep. I myself tend to forget the matters of the Gods when dealing with the matters of men and beasts but I know for a fact that before witnessing the scene I described, I had neither the mark of a burning crow on my chest," he taps his breastplate just above his heart. "Nor the ability to do this."
Removing his hand from his chest he breaths in deeply, as he exhales his gauntlet bursts into the holy flames Faia bestowed upon him. (Using my Blessed by Faia "Flaming Attacks" trait.)
"I swear to you on the honor of my name and my position in the Fenrisian Knights that this is the truth. I served your order for the better part of my life. Ask any of your men if they know my name, Lindynt Auroral, and they will tell you it is true. Give me a lance and a Chocobo and I will prove it absolute."
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28
As he stands on table opposite of Lady Ionia and his brothers in arms, he searches her radiant eyes for a sign of belief.
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
Jeger
Jeger listens to Lindynt's speech impassively, having heard most of it. The gauntlet part was new, but he doubted that by itself, it would do much. After all, many different kinds of magic allowed for flames. Still, he tries to help the new lord of the keep out a bit, even if he can't do a whole lot. "Lady Olistan, I cannot fully confirm everything he has said, as I have only arrived in the last few hours myself, after the battle was over, but I have seen nothing to make me believe that Lord Auroral is lying or trying to hide anything about his ascent to his current position. Despite the wildness in some of the bits of the story, it has borne up under the weight of my own examination of the keep and the more concerning portions of the tale."
Diplomacy (aid another) 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17
Ionia Olistan
Lady Ionia listens to both Lindynt and Jeger, believing some more Jeger, but Lindynt has at least calmed her and is no longer hostile just wary and doubtful. "Well while the evidence of battle is true and your ability is uncommon, I would need something more solid than words, but I do understand your position" as he looks down for a moment and then at Lindynt again "But you do must understand mine as well, I AM BETROTHED to the lord of the Red Keep... which is no longer the same man and for all I know this is just a ploy or maybe not"
"Well she said the Vault will tell me, that dreadful thing can't lie and won't deny me the truth! Unless someone has another suggestion to clear all my doubts."
Rickard Forcae
A clearing of the throat can be heard as a young man comes in dressed in a red tunic with golden trimming. Ser Jorus announces him as Rickard Forcae the new Steward.
Vowing deeply to both lords "My Lord Lindynt does posses such evidence if I may be so bold my Lord and approach Lady Olistan with the writ in paper Lord Reinholdt, now Patron and holy overseer of this lands in the name of the Scarlet Princess" as he brings out from his tunic a parchment and looks for Lindynt to approve of his actions.
You forget Reinholdt did put it on paper for you, knowing such thing would happen.
Lindynt Auroral
"...I AM BETROTHED to the lord of the Red Keep... which is no longer the same man and for all I know this is just a ploy or maybe not"
"If such an arrangement displeases you, I will do my best to see it dissolved, my Lady."
"My Lord Lindynt does posses such evidence if I may be so bold my Lord and approach Lady Olistan with the writ in paper Lord Reinholdt, now Patron and holy overseer of this lands in the name of the Scarlet Princess" as he brings out from his tunic a parchment and looks for Lindynt to approve of his actions.
Lindynt struggles to keep a smile contained as Rickard produces physical evidence to his claims. "Thank you Rickard. I had thought that document burned in Reinhold's departure. You may proceed."
I guess I should have checked those earlier posts more carefully :p
Jeger
Jeger just raises an eyebrow a bit at the fact that Lindynt allowed that critical detail to slip by him, but chalks it up to the confusion of the more immediate concerns he had to deal with in getting the keep back in order. The bit about the betrothal makes Jeger really glad that he is but an messenger from elsewhere and not in Lindynt's position. While he can certainly understand the woman's reaction, she did not strike him as being one that he would want to have to deal with on a daily basis.
Ionia Olistan
Lady Ionia takes the parchment and begins to read as a tear begins to fall and soon after a few more...
With a broken voice "So it was his last wishes, that you be the new master of the Red Keep... Well I must take my leave and present this news to my father, your Liege Lord and will conduct proper ceremonies" as she stands up from the table "With your permission I will take my leave my Lord Auroral, and I do recommend you have a sigil ready for your house or my fighter may assign you one if you don't. I recommend the former." as she gracefully leaves and holds herself as best she can to not drop on the floor crying.
Rickard Forcae
"M'Lord I'm glad I could be of service, I do understand your current predicament, but I am here to help on these matters" as he vows in respect.
"I have taken some liberties for you and added some needed people in Important positions that we were lacking so you can focus more in your duties m'lord"
Lindynt Auroral
"I will use my great-grandfather's sigil. One forgotten but at long last destined to decorate halls and shields," he replies proudly, breathing in to puff up his chest and the lion embossed atop it. "I look forward to setting this in motion. Thank you for taking it upon yourself to see it through. You may take your leave as you please but before you do, I would like to express my condolences for your loss. Reinhold will truly be missed."

"I appreciate your concern. I look forward to meeting Reinholdt's counselors and colleagues. Provided they serve me loyally, I should have no need to replace them." For now at least... "My most pressing demands are for scribes. I have treaties and declarations that must be penned and set in motion immediately. Bring me those that are equipped for such tasks."
Turning to the dog-formed Akela, "I would like to make our negotiations with the Kobolds solidified through both law and ink. The sooner you can bring him here to have it drafted and signed, the better."
Now bringing his focus to Jeger, "Do you have any documentations you'd like to bring to my attention or we're your dealings in too early a stage for such devices?"

You are basically to stay and serve as some sort of liaison between the shiranai people that inhabit Lindynts terrain. You are basically confirming the pact of your people and staying for a while to see that your tribes interest are taken care of, which it's basically that they don't pay taxes but they do trade with House Auroral and fight for House Auroral when asked to do so."
Lindynt Auroral
While waiting for the others to assemble, Lindynt continues speaking with Jeger though the tone drifts to one of admiration rather than command. "I am familiar with this tactic. You must be a very competent warrior if they have sent you to intimidate us," he smiles. "I actually mean that as a compliment. It is recognized as a passive technique to display the skills of a single part of the overall military force of your people. I look forward to seeing your skills put to test during the tournament seasons."

moments later the group assembles.
Vance is somewhat busy looking at his new gun and thinking what kind of ridiculous procedures he has to endure sometimes...
Tybalt is just there for mere formalities as he has also seen the document and puts him at ease.
Alaire is there to celebrate his last night and a last peek at all his new friends.
Lindynt and Jeger were already there discussing something as finally the new Steward walks in.
Rickard Forcae
"M'lord!" as he vows and then just nods at the rest "Gentlemen" I have brought you a list of those new to their station and bring them before you if you wish to see them one by one and interview them.
Rickard hands the list of names to Lindynt
Andreas Copoulus - Retainer
Caelin O'hern - Master-at-Arms
Belneiros Beloren - Master of the Hunt (Horses & Kennel)
Belros Bellephor - Mage
Belros Verzar - Faia Religious Leader
Burnsten Woller - Diplomat
Decius Norfire - Castellan
Deverau - Retainer[/pspoiler]
When you are done reading and giving it to others or not
"M'lord just one member of the list is... unavailable at this time but he will arrive shortly, he is already working"
Rickard Forcae
"Yes the Belros Brothers, former small retainers for the former Rammsteiner House. Their family just fell off to history and the change of times m'lord." giving out a small smile "The are entertaining to say the least, just don't start them on a debate over knowledge because you will hear both the religious and the literate sides, but... it might end up in a heated debate as it always does and more since they are sibling. On the bright side Belneiros is someone you will rarely see unless you hunt or travel much, he is a quiet man and very dutiful."
Moment's after Rickard speaks a serf comes in a whispers something in his ears.
"The missing person form the list has returned, but sends his apologies for he is... am.. hurt and will try his best to attend if summoned."

"That assumes there will be tournament seasons anytime soon. Things are not looking promising that such things will be an option for the near future."
"Too true," he admits. "But compared to the alternative, the tournaments are where I'd like to become familiar with your techniques."
With such an unorthodox weapon must come equally unorthodox stance and attack forms. If something should happen to pit me against the Shiranai, such knowledge will prove invaluable.
Lindynt takes the list of advisers and station masters and reads through it carefully looking for familiar names.
Saves some space.

He then passes the list to Vance and asks Rickard, "What is the name of this missing member? What position does he hold?"
What is the most common way to communicate long distance? Would it be ravens (I've been reading Game of Thrones trying to finish books 2&3 before next season starts) or are there magic links between castles?

Andreas is part of your court as the son of the most important merchant in your region. He is not of noble birth, but has the gil to look like one and in some cases more than some.
Calein is half Shiranai, even tho he takes more to his Shiranai heritage, he served under the former master-at-arms of this household.
Belneiros doesn't ring a single bell, you suppose he does keep to himself.
B. Bellephor is a theologist and astrologer, best in the region and makes you wonder how much he is costing. He specialties in divination and abjuration mostly and creation of minor magical trinkets and defensive items.
B. Verzar is a very devout follower and was recently assigned to House Rammsteiner, which is no more, but he was assigned here because of the region belief in Faia. He is more of the preaching and researching kind. He does have some healing spells he is known for his burning determination to scour undead if he ever hears of one and is known to bestow the purifying flames of faia to weapons.
Burnsten Woller is faintly known as a charismatic and somewhat problematic with women...
Didn't notice I double posted, sorry
Decius Norfire is born to a small banner house of Olistan. They are renown for their Black Magics and Dark Knights above most things. Decius Norfire has a grim reputation about him and natural air of authority. You haven't heard much of his prowess but you remember him being recommended by important people anyway, makes you wonder why to a certain point.
Deverau... it's like he doesn't exists, you never heard of him.
Most castle would use some sort of courier riding a chocobo for short distances (which is relative to the gil someone owns) other people have rookery (which you don't) for sending some kind of trained bird (Doves or Ravens), while others more wealthy castles have magical means. Red Keep manages with couriers riding chocobos.
"Well his job is a complicated one m'lord because you will usually never see him working on it even when he does... that is his kind of job... you might have even already met him and don't even know. Do you wish for his presence m'lord despite his wounds?"

"When he is treated for his injuries, yes. Until then I would like to acquaint myself with the others on this list. You may send them here in the order that is written on your parchment. Also, it has been a very long day. Have someone bring us some fruits and cheeses to supp upon. I'd prefer not to eat anything coming from the kitchen until after it has been sterilized a few more times," he tells his steward, grimacing at the thought of room the last time he had passed through it.

Steward vows and sends the serf for the first man of the list while he goes to the kitchen to see about fresh diary and fruits.
A thin man in his early 20's walks in through the door, he is dressed in a simple yet very elaborate outfit of purple and white, accompanied by some jewelry that gives him a proper regal but simple appearance.
My lord Auroral as he vows "I am Andreas Copoulus, pleased to be at your service and in your presence" he is very courtly and graceful in his movements, and you can start to understand why he has problems with women... "Is there something I can do for you my lord?"

With a slight smile, Lindynt returns Andreas' bow with a nod and gestures him to take a seat at his table. At the moment, nothing in particular comes to mind. I would simply like to extend formal greetings with the noteworthy people of my city and you are among such men and woman. Tell me, why do you think that is?"

Rickard Forcae
Moments after Andreas presentation Rickard comes back out "I only went to the kitchen to cancel the dishes that they were going to start making my Lord Auroral" as he claps his hands and a couple of serfs bring in some fruits and dried meat from the storage, accompanied by some red wine. "Shall I call in the rest of them? as Rickard looks at Akela and the Kobold but only smiles and says nothing.
