As for armament, they have spiked gauntlets and they are wearing chain shirts.

Yeah, these guys mean business. Hopefully Fi will be able to scrape us up off the floor. If I'm conscious at the end of this, I have a couple healing extracts for myself.
Byron, while the others are interrogating, etc, I think this is a cool thing you could do:
--Take a round to create, then another round to apply, a very weak acid or alchemist's fire (does 1 damage, can only be applied to an ally) that could make the "Stone in the Blood" and "Fire in the Blood" healing of Fi and Odebie a little more useful. You could also make cold solutions or "electrolyte" solutions for undines and sylphs (although I don't think you or Osric took "Storm in the Blood")

Ahh, okay. For what its worth, the characters wouldn't be able to tell how far into the fog she ran either without hearing her. The way she reacted made me think she saw him either bloodied up and limping toward the door or crucified on the next door over or something.
Sure, I can see both you and Fi shouting after her, but she is not answering.

If needed, Odebie can make the sylph a crutch. It'll only last for about 10 minutes though.
Excellent idea! So no one needs to help the sylph, but one elen still needs to support the old ifrit.
When you guys decide what to do (sprint past, sneak past, fight, distract, etc), I think this is actually a good opportunity for another Skill Challenge. I'll post the rules again when you've decided roughly on your course of action. It will cover not only taking care of this elemental, but getting out of the HQ as well.
Rejoice! The Games and Sports page has been updated! I've got one sport and one game for every race, so I doubt this will be updated again, unless we run into something new in the story.
So far I've got one vote from Fi ---> All run past while Fi distracts.

I need surprise round actions from Odebie and Byron.
I updated the map to account for Byron's action.
Byron - the Mister body that is gray is dying, not dead, so you could potentially administer first aid on Round 1. The other bodies are all dead.
Also, this is still in play:
"Byron - you can take a standard action to use a fire bomb to "blow out" the current fire. Bomb attack roll vs AC 12 to hit, and DC 15 Alchemy check to modify it on the fly."
This will work on fires the elemental generates, but not the elemental itself.

Skill Challenge!
--DC for a success is 12.
--A given character can only succeed with a given skill once. Gotta find another skill to succeed with after that.
--Each PC will roll with one chosen skill, and, depending on the result, post a short description of what their action looked like. After all four have been posted, I'll put together a "results" post and we'll do it again.
--The following skills are definitely applicable:
Acrobatics, to take tight corners and move around debris
Diplomacy, to inspire your fellows to greater efforts
Perception, to avoid any other elementals
Stealth, to avoid detection in general
Odebie, do a strength check with a +2 from Fi's song lingering in your system as your first round of the challenge.
--Other skills CAN be applicable, but only with a reasonable in-game explanation. A shaky explanation may add +2 or +4 to the DC.
--Successes will get you closer to getting out of HQ.
--Failures will NOT lead to inevitable death; instead, you may have damage coming your way (fires, collapsing roof).

I've got a grand total of -1 on a heal check. Could a combination of a Cure Light Wounds and a use of Grim Optimism at least trigger a save to give us another chance.
Otherwise may just have to rage up and try shift the stone myself.
I like that. Let's say the cure light wound gives you one rank as a class skill (so +4) and grim optimism is just so perfect we'll go with another +4, so net you have a +7 to your roll (DC 12)
I expect a grim joke however!

I'm actually down to just one. I've used two CLWs and disguise self. I've just got a (probably) useless 'long arm' left.
In the future, I like what Byron does with his extracts for his header, crossing off what he uses.

I figure at that point you can go back to "5/5 1st level" for your lowest level spells, but still keep the individual "top level spells" listed. We'll see what works when we get there.
