Seeing that his plan isn't working, Raphael moves to in front of but slightly away from the box and tries to pull the string. So basically, there's 5ft between the lever and his position

Str: 1d20 ⇒ 19

Pit Fiend

1 is a monster, 2 is a trap.
What happens?: 1d2 ⇒ 1

And as you tug on the string, you see the lever pulled outwardly towards you... And bad things happen, and happen fast. As you pull the level, you hear a hideous laugh -the same one as before- echoe in your heads. "Oh, I may not be able to play, but our pets sure can!"

As that is said, Raphael, you notice the jacket headed figures... Start to move. They fashion hideous grins and step out towards you... Outside the plaster. Everyone give me will saves and initiative rolls.

init 1: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
init 2: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9 the north most one is number one.mcheck the map so you can see them ;)

Pit Fiend

I'm sorry... how could I forget? As these two things step out of the wall, you (everyone but Jean) feel the air pressure drop so dramatically and so suddenly... you all feel fatigued. Yeah.

Pit Fiend

Raphael, as you look closely at these ... things coming out of the walls, you notice that the outline of them change into something completely different (Almost as if the outline were... an illusion) This tall, three-legged fiend possesses an avian body and head, save for its gangly arms, which end in thin, clawlike fingers. Its scrawny neck is adorned with three thick iron rings, and a grotesquely long, barbed tongue resembling an octopus’s tentacle winds out of its oversized beak. Burst blood vessels fill the creature’s wide eyes, and reddish speckled blotches cover its cyanotic flesh.

And tha would be knowledge planes.

Round 1 actions

Following Jean's instructions, Suzumaru hurries back out of the tunnel trying to be adjacent to Jean, while keeping him between her and the things. While moving she draws her monrningstar and readies to hit an enemy if moves adjacent to her.

"This looks troubling, why didn't we bring a herd of Riftwardens or Paladins with us?

We are still waiting on Jean and Hamish to get their rolls in so I could set up turn order.

You all see through the illusion.

Thing 1: 19
Maxwell: 14
Raphael: 10
Suzumaru: 10
Thing 2: 9
Hamish: 7

The lot of you watch as one of these daemons twists its fingers in a horrible fashion before pointing at you... and all of a sudden, you feel a think yellow green fog fall over you. It's noxious fumes seem to seep into your nose no matter how much you hold you breath, and you feel yourself going faint...

Everyone give me a Fort Save.

Con Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3 If you make a DC 19 save you only take half of this (with a minimum of 1) Otherwise, you take the full damage.
And don't forget that everyone but Jean is fatigued.

Maxwell, Suzu, Raphael, you are up.

Coughing, Raphael withdraws into the open as per Jean's suggestion. Withdraw action, so I don't provoke any AoO. Gasping between breaths, he manages to get out what he knows about the creatures. "They're suspiridaemons. Use good aligned or silver weapons. If you don't have them, the come to me, and I will fix that. They're immune to acid, disease, death effects, and poison, resistant to cold, electricity, fire, and especially sonic weapons. They also resist spells, but their will is weak compared to their fortitude or reflexes. That one" he points to the one that summoned the noxious gas "Just cast cloudkill. They can only do it once per day, and it means they can't summon any lacridaemons to aid them. They can also cast stinking cloud, vampiric touch, death knell, ghoul touch, and ray of enfeeblement."

After his long, quickly spoken info session, he begins desperately gasping for air, trying to pull himself together enough to align the weapons of anybody who needs it.

Jean breathes the poisonous air like rose perfume.

Oh please. I've been stabbed by a Red Mantis poison master, you'll have to do better than that. Now come out here and show me you're serious.

Poison Immunity. Yeah.

Pit Fiend

I almost forgot Andross' initiative
Init: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15 So yes, he's going to run as soon as he can, and is unaffected by the poison since... well he is unaffected by poison.

Maxwell, unless your arrows are either good aligned or made of silver, you weapon does not seem to do any damage. Also, I'm leaving it up to you all to apply the con damage to your characters, since I trust you and all.

The second Suspiridaemon suddenly inhales with unnatural force, evacuating all the air in the area in a matter of a second, causing a sudden implosion! Not a second afterward, all the toxic air, however spews back out of him, and the noxious cloud is back (No new saves this turn don't worry).

Damage: 5d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 3, 2, 2) = 12
Sickened Rounds: 1d4 ⇒ 4 If you make a DC 18 fort save (remember to take the con damage into account) then half the damage and negate the sickened penalties. Maxwell is the only one out of range. Even HARVEY has to save.

Suspiridaemon Save: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25

Hamish, Jean. You are up/

Male Half-Elf

Father Raphael, I believe I need your assistance. Can you make my weapon good aligned please?

Pit Fiend

Maxwell, that was the calmest response to "My arrow just bounced off this scary looking daemon that's currently in the middle of poisoning and doing sonic damage to my friends" I've EVER seen. XD

So polite too.

Jean decides to abandon his previous caution after he sees Suzumaru staying inside and goes for the jugular on the nearest daemon.

Fortitude: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (11) + 13 = 24

Here's hoping a 21 hits. Total is 99 Damage. The Sword is Good-aligned, the shield is not.

Pit Fiend

Okay, so did everyone apply the Constitution Damage to their character from the previous round? (and Hamish, is the 1d20+8+2 your fort save to avoidu the sickened condition? If so, apply the penalty as you are indeed sickened. Suzu, don't forget the Fort save for Harvey.) Alright then, moving on.

Jean as your sword and shield slams repeatedly into the daemon, you notice it stagger slightly and though it is looking faint enough to drop at any second, it isn't quite dead yet. In its spite, it takes a step between Suzumaru and Jean, and does the same thing that the other daemon did, sucking up all the air in a second and causing an implosion.

Sonic Damage: 5d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 1, 3, 2) = 13
Sickened Rounds: 1d4 ⇒ 3 DC 18 Fort save to negate the sickened condition and halve the damage. Everyone but Hamish has to make this save.

As the noxious air leaves this Suspiridaemon and fills the room again, those who tried to escape outside suddenly remember the horrifying detail about the spell cloudkill.

It moves.

And as all of you realize this in horror, you can only watch as the spell comes over all of you again and once again, you are choking on its fumes. Now, if Harvey hasn't taken enough damage to die yet (he still needsto make saves for the sonic booms) then take this into account: If he has 3 HD or less, he automatically dies. If more than that, he gets to make a Fort Save (and tell me how many HD he has.) Everyone except Suzumaru and Jean have to make this save.

Raphael is delaying until Maxwell moves closer, at which point he'll cast Communal Align Weapon, tag Maxwell's bow, move right behind Jean, and tag Jean's shield. Otherwise he won't be able to tag both.

Also, everybody heal 5 HP.

Pit Fiend

I almost forgot. this is the Con damage you will take this second round in the cloud. A fort save only halves this.

Con Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2 So Raphael, you take 1 more con damage.

Maxwell wasn't surprised by the outcome. He was just testing the waters. Now he is going to fire things up a bit.

Once she gets there, she channels positive to heal.

As the light of shining, positive energy energy surrounds you all, you notice the daemon stagger slightly, before all of a sudden, black blood starts to pool out of its mouth, ears, and eyes, spilling to the ground. That being said, you cannot see anything.

"That one was boring me." You here the voice call out. "Not fun at all. Besides, master knows you can defeat it... he has no need for you to prove it."

Who ARE you?

Jean says to the disembodied voice.

"What do you think master? Should I reveal myself?" the voice seems to call out and echo throughout e entire Tomb. Though you can hear no response, the voice laughs out. "Why thank you master! I promise to entertain you so."

At the very end of the hallway, you see a figure come into view. It is... Quite unlike anything you have ever seen before: A very tall humanoid with what seems like a squid like head, (the avatar isn't all too accurate, so click the link) and pale blue skin. It is wrapped in a black cloak and it's fingers look like sharp claws. The figure bows, and you can see its tentacles move. "I am Lord Acererak's faithful servant, Duchess Fukuopicus. My lord has asked me to entertain you while you are here, and so I shall! I must say, it is quite eerie the similarities between the races in this world and the Realms... But it is for the best I suppose."

I'll say It now. This thing is an illithid, also known as a mind flyer (if you haven't figured out from the link I provided.) You have never heard of one before and you sure as hell havent seen one before. They are native to the forgotten realms, and YOU all are in Golarion. You also have know idea what the Forgotten Realms are so make of that what you will.

Raphael used to know about the forgotten realms. But, well, then he forgot.

Raphael hesitates, uncertain of what to do. On the one hand, this Duchess did just help them. On the other, she's a servant of Acererak, who in all likelihood wants them all dead. So instead of talking, he decides to do what he knows how to do: heal. For now he decides to focus on physical wounds rather than the strange weakness caused by that cloud since asking his companions who happens to have 100g worth of diamond dust seems like it would be a bit rude with this stranger here.

Is everybody's HP up to date after Suzumaru's channel? I also have no idea what Hamish's HP is. :/

Hamish is at 53/76(67) and I think has 2 con damage on him? So if we're resting soon lesser restorations are in order.

Hamish looking haggard still manages a roguish smile. "Fun huh? Well my pet I think me and you have very different ideas on what that means."

Male Half-Elf

What does your master really want?

The creature's tentacles flutter in amusement. "Is it so hard to believe that we want a it of excitement in our lives? Earth, The Realms, Ravenloft... All have fallen to my master's might... And it was so BORING! He promised me a bit of excitement... And so here we are, back in his home of Golarion. I have heard great things about the adventurers here... Hopefully they can sate my curiosity. Speaking of which..."

She seems to look around. "Where is that devilishly handsome vampire whom I saw? The one who scampered off as a swarm of bats?" If you were to look around, you notice a bunch of bats hanging outside, near one of the monoliths. Andross might still be scared of the daemons...
