Round 1
Seeing the pathetic mindless undead thing in front of him, Sorek seeks to end its existence quickly with two rapid punches through its chest seeking its spine
attack#1: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
damage#1: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 5) + 6 = 13
attack#2: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
damage#2: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 5) + 6 = 12
brvheart
As Aggrammar's performance would have gone first, Sorek destroys the zombie which proceeds to explode all over him! Make a Fort save Sorek
Sorek
As the zombie explodes and showers him with undead goo Sorek steels himself against the foul things taint
Spends 1pp to activate
fort: 1d20 + 5 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 5 + 4 = 11
and Sorek continues his streak of less than stellar save rolls
brvheart
It did not have to be stellar, just make the DC 11! Save, but you are covered in zombie guts! XP= 35 each.
Sorek
eewww Thanks to the walking dead I can easily picture what a zombie gut explosion would look like
After Sorek wipes himself off he searches the zombies corpse for treasure. Possibly needing to wipe him self off again afterwards
Detecting Magic
perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (19) + 12 = 31
perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24
and then searches the room where the zombie came from
Detecting Magic
perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16
perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 27

The zombie wears a jeweled holy symbol of the healing god (300 gp).
Lomyldyr Dweo-Mercraeft
Lomyldyr gives the remains of the zombie a wide berth. "There are likely more where that came from. We must be wary."
brvheart
It was one dangerous zombie there.... Room 11 is pretty empty also.
This room contains a shattered wooden bedframe, a chest that has been
broken open, and a small table that is still in good condition. There is
nothing of interest in the room.
Aggrammar Deepdelver
"Just a second lad" - Aggrammar motions for Sorek to wait before any exploration continues.
Rolling Religion to check excatly what kind of zombie was that, and the possible consequences of its explosion onto Sorek ;)
Knowledge (Religion): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27
brvheart, let me know if I should have rolled anything else. Like Heal for example (would be at +12)
Sorek
The zombie wears a jeweled holy symbol of the healing god (300 gp).
knowledge religion untrained: 1d20 ⇒ 6
While Aggrammar looks him over for signs of infection Sorek examines the zombies holy symbol trying to identify what God the poor soul worshiped before becoming a zombie.
If unable to identify the symbol he asks Aggrammar "What God did this poor soul worship before becoming undead?"
brvheart
plague zombie
It is a variant. There are a lot of variants coming!
Aggrammar Deepdelver
Thanks brvheart. Variants heh? Aaaah, gotta love Rappan Athuk ;)
"Ye got lucky lad - these can dish out some nasty, rottin' disease - it seems ye shook it off though" - the dwarf adds, examining the skin on the monk's neck and back unceremoniously.
brvheart, any particulars regarding the holy symbol? But I guess God of healing is a given, since it was shared in the description? :D
Turning the symbol over in his hands, Aggrammar shrugs - "Can't pinpoint it, but it is definitely an healin' symbol - irony fer ye, I guess" - he chuckles.
Mojo Sniffagem
The goblin listens up to the double tap snapping and thudding on the zombie from the next door as he stops working. The sloppy splash afterwards and the matter of fact conversation by the others puts him at ease so he carries on.
They did it. So fast. Dat is god, verree god.
brvheart
Bread crumbs! Things will hopefully make more sense, eventually:) I can think of several variants that would be rather nasty to this party!
Sorek
boooo! How hard can it be to identify a Gods holy symbol? Fine keep us in suspense with bread crumbs(TBH I'm full on xmas cookies). LOL
BTW I'm resisting the temptation to look at FGG patheon of gods to see who has healing as a domain.......must.....resist
On to the next room (clockwise). Looks like Mojo has all the doors open for us
brvheart
When it is an unnamed old deity that is no longer worshipped that the author's chose not to identify! This area has been subject to repeated invasions since this place was build. It was most likely a hybornean deity that is on Greg Vaughan's list that is still unpublished. The names of the deity and the demon are not really that important to the plot.
I already posted the contents of the next room, Room 11. Hope the cookies are good!
Sorek
It looks like there is a door in the south wall of room 12.
perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (11) + 12 = 23
perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24
if no traps or magic(DETECT MAGIC) are found on the first door we come across we'll open the door and go inside after DETECTING EVIL. If no evil detected Mojo and Sorek lead through the door. If evil detected Myrick and Sorek are first in
If traps are detected on the door we'll wait for Mojo to disable it before going in.
perception inside the room: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30
perception inside the room: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 22

Posting could be a bit of an issue now that family have arrived and we are in work or festive mode. Me on a device is definitely frowned upon.. No cookies here just mince pies and a massive Christmas cake covered in marzipan (made by the devil as far as my taste buds are concerned) and snowy icing.
The goblin eventually walks round the room to ensure there are no hidden doors and continues with unlocking doors for the party. He pulls out a pigs legbone eventually to gnaw on while the searching continues. Something that sharpens his teeth and acts like an old toothbrush with no bristles.
Nom nom nom.
Sorek
I think we've explored all there is to find in this cluster of rooms (11,12,13). If there is nothing else to find lets return to the corridor and go north
brvheart
The passage goes north and there is a side passage to the left that goes into what appears to be a room.
Sorek
going to the left room
perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (6) + 12 = 18
perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 22
brvheart
2 zombies, 12 dire rats and one even bigger rat in here. Roll init please
Sorek

If you can't logon during the holidays Mojo...I'm sure we'll all understand. You can't be staring at the Wayfinder app when the mother in law is trying to talk with you.
Lomyldyr Dweo-Mercraeft
Round 1
Lomyldyr will use his wand to cast a grease spell in the 10' square in front of Sorek and Mojo such that the rats are forced to cross the greased area to enter the hall, "Gentlemen, let them come to us."
He then takes a 5' step backward.
Sorek
looking at the map...if we back up all the way into the main corridor it looks like we'll be able to get a minimum 3(2 meleers and Aggy polearm) of us attacking the enemy as they get funneled down the side hallway 2 at a time(meatgrinder).

The blue rat is medium sized, the rest are small. You know Elathras Sorek? lol.

The blue rat is medium sized, the rest are small. You know Elathras Sorek? lol.
I think it's safe to say Elathras and Sorek are quite different when it comes to their manner of dungeon exploration ;)
brvheart
You might think so, but you have both been pretty consistent to each other's styles in that regard except he has no detect magic or evil. He, on the other hand was not hesitant to go it alone when he needed to.
brvheart
init Aggrammar: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

Can't see the map right now. . If Sorek can retreat to the hallway to set up the killzone (as described in my previous post) without leaving Mojo exposed... That's what he'll do.
If this isn't possible let me know and I'll check the map when I get home tonight and come up with a different action for this round

Myrick of Muir
Myrick shakes his head.
"It is like a fog washed over me, something in that room, like a . . . Great loss . . . "
The paladin draws his sword.
"Let's them come. I will be your shield as you have shielded me. I have been shown I am nothing by myself without you here. The fog has lifted. I stand with you my friends."
Lomyldyr Dweo-Mercraeft
Sorek, we should be able to fall back to the passage "T" as you described. Lomyldyr will update his action to move back to the main corridor after casting the grease spell.
