The Canadian accents I have heard are very distinct but maybe that is not always the case.

Megaspiders as big as your head or bigger. Yeah sticking to the city if I ever go there. I like the flavor of the place if that makes any sense. A down to earth life loving people, at least the few I have met. Seeing them get mad is a show on to itself, here I thought only Spanish had such colorful cursing. :)

Which one? There are a billion different accents here. No one wants to sound Geordie. My accent is probably more American than UK, since my wife is American and I grew up on a steady diet of American sci-fi shows. Although I apparently only sound American to British people, American people think I sound British.

I grew up near Newcastle, so I'm quite pleased with how I sound - the accent in my home town was half Geordie, half Scottish.
Haha! A magical mix then. Though I will admit I love the hell out of the Scottish accent.
