Jane asks the barkeep if it's okay to set up their makeshift dart board on the wall and pulls out 2 daggers.
"I only have two on me, so I'll have retrieve one before throwing it again."
She lines up her shot and throws the darts.
She goes to examine the board.. somewhat saddened of her bulls eye getting so little points.

The inn's door swings open, and for a moment, it looks like a statue of a hairless dwarf might have opened it. The impression passes, though, as the stocky man enters the bar and you realize it's not a statue after all. Hairless yes, and with pale, grayish skin that almost looks like stone in the right light, it's an easy mistake to make. Oreads are rare enough among humans, they're almost unknown among dwarves. Most confuse him for a dwarf with a skin condition; he generally doesn't correct people.
He looks around the room and finds what he's looking for. Approaching your table, he walks up to Dorgan. "Did you find us passage?

Pointing at Yab, "By Torag, what the hell is that? You know him, Dorgan?"
Yab looks at Dorgan with a raised eyebrow, rolls his eyes a tiny bit, and mutters (slightly under his breath), "It's not that big a deal." He has the air of someone who's spent a lifetime playing this scene. He otherwise ignores the shocked reactions of Sir Constantine and Varkas.
Varkas feels a bit of shame about his reaction, having seen creatures who look similar to this grey hairless dwarf back in Highhelm, but he was still taken aback. "Uhhh, pardon me, monk...the thrill of our competition and the ale loosened me up a little more than I expected, and you gave me quite a shock. I am Varkas, and if you are a friend of Dorgan, you are a friend of mine. Well met! Now, about passage...to Arcadia, I presume? Any news, Dorgan? Pavo and I are interested as well!"
"Don't worry about it. From the heart of your mountain to the heart of my mountain, I too was born to dwarves; I just look a little different than most." He lifts his hand to his face and caresses his hairless chin. "When all the wives grew whiskers and I still had none, I knew I had this to look forward to. I've overcome my shame, I'm sure you will too."
He pauses before he catches that there was a question at the end. "Oh, yes, Arcadia. For my part, I'm hoping to discover a new world under the surface in a new land. Who knows what wonders might grow underneath that world?"

Varkas breathes a small sigh of relief - tact is not his strong suit. "We too search those wonders - a lost Dwarven city, so the rumors go. Let us join together, if it pleases you and Dorgan. Sir Constantine here, while not babysitting us, har har!, would like to accompany us as well. That would make five, though I would feel better with an accomplished healer in our party."
Varkas pushes a tankard of ale to Yab.
"Healer! Accomplished! Ha! I been round dwarves my whole life. Throw some moss on it or rub dirt on it and suck it up, it's just a scratch!"
Pavo looks serious. "We will be travelling far from any settlements, with only the resources we carry ourselves. I feel a Cleric will be a necessity!"
"I have had many such under takings an when we had not a cleric we took a wand though in tough times you wisely save the resource and rely upon natural rest. I know how to use a wand and I am sure several others do as well. In case a cleric can not be found."
Constantine shrugs, it was true enough a cleric was not always around, and many enemies tried to kill the cleric first.
Varkas nods at Pavo - "Surely we can reach agreement - tomorrow, let us canvas this town in search of this wand you speak of, Sir Constantine, but also approach the temples to see if a blessed one can come with us. Many a cleric in Highhelm was in search of fortune!"

And when the total post count for the DM is 19....I am going to try and remain hopeful that the DM is coming......
We could post up in the recruitment area that we are seeking a DM after being abandoned. How long do we want to give the original DM?

DBH here, I'm playing Pavo. If our DM doesn't show by Friday I'm willing to try running a game.

I've never run a Pbp before, I can do it fast though, posting constantly through a day.
We have Jane, Dorgan, Varkas, Yab and Constantine. Five players, pretty much a party ready to go, maybe one more at the most.
