Ehrmagherd. My Kellid Slayer character in TRO's Iron Gods game failed her first climb check trying to climb up a small rise into the dungeon...and almost demolished a window frame as her first attack, in fact she missed most everything for the first part of the adventure...

Hey Yall, just wanna say good stuff so far! We've got some pretty good synergy on daily posting, even with the weekend. Sorry that I havent warned ya, I travel on the weekends and only have my phone so I'm typically a bit slower.
Also, please keep the flavor coming! But please also help me understand what it is you're rolling for on your checks =)
I'll have some results for you later in about 6 hrs when I make a map so we can visualize. I'm gonna have you all place yourselves on a grid from here on out. You know, just in case you open one of the stone doors and Tar Buffon steps out ;)

@Hey gang - just trying to wrap my head around light, sight and Perception. I'm playing Kalla as if she can't hardly see shite due to not having any darkvision, but Rose seems to be unhindered. Is there a light i'm missing? If so, how does that affect Auric, Rennai and Eru?

With darkvision, light affects me not at all - I can see a dark area 60 feet away whether or not there's light 40 feet away. As for Rose, perhaps she's casting her light cantrip on something she's carrying?

He did get the bump to 3 Int, which is the cutoff for above-animal intelligence, but yeah, not deriving differential equations or anything. :) But he does understand Common fully, which is handy.

There are different maps for those teleported to individual cells!

@Kalla we really should be deducting your cha mod from your AC due to blindness. Oracle and Sorceror classes have abilities that add Cha instead of Dex to AC, and it has been ruled that if you lose your "Dex bonus" due to being flat-footed etc, you would lose your Cha bonus instead. The way it is now you literally can never be flat footed or lose your dex bonus in any way due to wording, which really isn't how any ability is supposed to work. Do you have any comments?

Huh. Well, I'm happy for you to rule it that way. The ability is supposed to reflect the power of will and inner strength, so blindness shouldn't remove it, but the bit about never losing [tweaked-to-Cha] Dex bonus or being flat fotted is definitely a blooper. Good catch.

Don't forget we each currently have 3 Fate points peeps:
1 Reroll a d20 taking the new result.
1 Keep a d20 roll and add +1d6 to the result.
1 Add +1d6 to a defense such as AC, CMD, Toughness or a Static Save Defense for one round
1 Roll a new save vs. an ongoing effect at the beginning of your turn.
1 Ignore one of the following debilitating conditions for one round; blinded, confused, dazzled, deafened, fascinated, frightened, nauseated, panicked, paralyzed, shaken, sickened or stunned.
1 Gain the benefits of a feat for one round (the character must meet all prerequisites.)
1 Activate a class ability with a limited number of uses per day.
