To K's OOC comment in the main thread:
Thanks! I put a lot of thought into the story of the Horde about a year ago. If you haven't figured it out by the context clues, they're a merger of enclave with legion, with a few twists. I even wrote a backstory of how it happened. :-)

Since the idea of new characters was mentioned, I should let you know that any of you who die/wish to retire at this point will not be limited with your new characters to humans. Ghouls and Super Mutants are going to be available. Further, I've been sort of tinkering with some robot rules as well, though those are experimental and subject to change. The other group has a ghoul in it, for example.
I'm not saying anyone should change as this team has a good chemistry flowing, but I'm just letting you know that's the case.
I'm actually interested in playing as a ghoul, as that is the ONE feature they've never implemented in any of the Fallout games that I've wanted. Ah well, maybe in a future update for Fallout 4.
That said, I'm really loving this character, as well as this game, and I don't plan on retiring her any time soon.
On purpose, of course. Her life is left to the dice, after all.
I'm always struggling with the D&D mindset of having to kill everything. We can run this like a smash and grab, just get in there and get out. And since they don't seem to have a back exit (that we know of) our friends with the rocket launcher upstairs should be able to deter pursuit.
We got this guys! Until I get one-shot by a mutant. Then we're in trouble.

I added the preliminary robot rules under races in the shared document; it's...still buggy. SW is a system of minimalism, but it seemed impossible to be minimalist with robots. Construct alone is a huge bonus and needed some serious balance. I think I did okay.

I don't know if that will fit. 1. Robots in Fallout clearly have no "don't harm humans" circuits unless programmed purposefully like the one in Fallout 3 in the ghoul town. 2. They run pretty much indefinitely off an internal fusion core. Look at the butler in Fallout 4!
Meh, you can ignore the Aasimov circuit thing. I planned on doing that. However if you don't ignore it then you can assume that after 200 years some of their Aasimov circuits are fried. As for power...that seems to be a thing in Fallout that is...fluid.
In some instances power sources are limitless (Robots) but in others they were limitless (Power Armor) but are now not limitless.

Family emergency handled. Job hunt continues. Weekend sucked, but my wife is amazing, so this week has started well. I'm giving you folks an update and will try to continue to do so when I can.
If you can, look for a Costco near where you live. Minimum wage for them is $13. Hope you get things settled down soon, as I'm quite familiar with being jobless.

Darn it sorry guys I forgot to tell you also I got a new job that's better pay potential than the last, but more time consuming. I'll keep posting but not as often. That's just how it's gonna be, sorry if that's a problem.
Now is a good time to mention that April will be particularly brutal for me at work, so posting may be spotty sometimes. If I hold things up, feel free to NPC me or have another player step in.

Hey guys, I'm sorry but life has gotten to the point where I cannot consistently post, and I don't have time for my online games anymore. This includes both as a player and as a GM. I've enjoyed playing with most of you for almost a year now, but I just can't go on. I'm sorry. I hope you understand. I have no qualms with someone else taking over.

Hey guys - I...
Well, I haven't had a job for a while. I have free time. It's a long story I can tell later, but it doesn't look like it's going to change for a while.
I feel like I want to play again, but I think you all deserve me as a GM more than I deserve to find a spot as a player. I want to get back to the game, if you all still want to. If you don't, I understand. It's been over a month. But if you're up for it, I can get right back on the rails...er...in the sandbox...with you where we were.
I know what it's like to not have a job for an extended period of time, so you have my sympathies. As for jumping back into the game, I'd love to play again, as I love the game and the characters, but only if you really feel up to it.
I'm sure Niles will fill you in, Big Guy. Why don't you run with that crew for a bit, and get in the right head space. We'll be ready when you come back. =)

Niles, I'm going to take a look over your game's info, but I really don't like that I left things hanging here mid-combat especially.
If some people can't continue, I'll find a way to write them out without death so they can come back if they want. In the meantime the other group has had about half say they'd want to continue, and if worse comes to worse I can thread-merge. They found their first suit of power armor, and they might hear Mac's radio signal back to the brotherhood and come looking for you guys. They were at a natural break when I stopped so it's a fine plot hook for them, and those that replied like the idea.
I'm gonna give it a bit to wait on other replies before deciding.

It may take me a bit to get all my ducks in a row. I doubt we still have the map we had, and while I still have the bookmarks for the game info, I have to reread a bit. It would be a bit of dramatic loosy-goosey rules to resolve the scenario you guys are in. I want to wrap my head around it again. I disconnected cognitively from it for so long I haven't been in the zone - but I think I can put something to get us back on track.
I think for my own peace of mind I do want to end up merging the games if the plot allows...even though it's potentially just as many players to cover (although two in the other group haven't responded, so it likely wouldn't be), a single plot will be easier for me to focus on. Fortunately I've dropped enough scraps about the two groups to one another to be able to make that happen without a pointless major plot overhaul.

No problem. If you can't remember the exact stats, etc, just kinda...fudge him based on the experience the others have.
Won't be weird to you to have two guys named Kristophe with potentially different personalities? That would be weird to me if I were a player, and I'd keep mixing them up.
