Yep, -2 to attack for an extra die of damage.

Spotting something Friday sets the club down. "I think the bird woman was trying to flee through here." he says as he moves to the corner of the room.
Kasha Mvashti |
"I can make use of the bone wand, it's not a pleasant weapon but then again neither are our enemies" Kasha says glancing down at the corpses.

"Pleasantries are for friends," Friday calls back, recalling just moments ago how the small Shamaness had been crudely smashed into the floor by the Oni.
Valeria Skendar |
"Well it's that or we sell it for cash. I'd look into re-purposing the materials to make something else, but the last time I tried that it ended up costing about as much as just making something from scratch." Valeria handed the wand over to Kasha as she spoke. "Up to you what we do with it."
"Incidentally; anyone got any healing left? I think the only reason I'm not bleeding out is from the blood freezing in the wounds."
Kasha Mvashti |
"Here, let me take care of that." Kasha says, accepting the bone wand and stowing it in the holster on her belt, that she draws out one made of rose quartz. She quickly uses it's healing power, first on Valeria, then herself.

Kasha turns to the warrior poet, once again activating her healing wand to close the multitude of wounds.

"Better now. That demon woman hit harder than anything I've ever encountered." Kasha says shuddering at the memory of the blow. "Hopefully there isn't much worse to deal with before we're done here."
Friday Daud |
Friday nods. "I've been getting carried away, I will try to do better to keep you and the others safe." He then looks back at the corpse of the oni.
"I suppose I should also focus more on how to better slay these monsters, than humans," he then tilts his head. "Also, may I ask something grisly of you?"
Kasha Mvashti |
"Uhm...sure." the shamaness replies, arching her eyebrow in curiosity.

"Would you remove the Oni's jaw so I could have it turned into a neckpiece? The operatives of these Five Storms are vexing me more and more and I wish to make my displeasure known." Friday asks in his normal low tone.

"Thanks Kasha," Valeria said as she felt her wounds knit closed.
It was hard to tell, thanks to her natural pale skin, but one could almost swear that Friday's suggestion left the tiefling a shade or two paler. "I'm just gonna say right now; I am not enchanting that thing for you down the road."

”I wouldn’t ask you to. The visual alone serves its purpose. Incite and demoralize, and hopefully incline their weapons toward me.” Friday tells the Arcanist.
”And that we are not easy prey.”

The battle spirit currently residing within Kasha brings a hint of a smile to her lips at the thought of a trophy of a fallen enemy. Drawing her magical, cold iron sickle she quickly sets about the grisly task, glancing over her shoulder at Kavell, to see if he reacts.

He paled slightly at Friday's request...in fact he chewed on his lip for a moment clearly running the man's request through his mind. There had to be better ways to incite the foes attention than that, though at the moment he couldnt think of any. He caught Kasha's glanced and merely let his shoulders slump.
He remembered one of his teachers in the abbey answering a fellow young paladin about how to make those whom refuse to listen follow a better path and it rang true here too.
"sometimes the answer is simple you can only walk your path the right way. They will either see the light and appreciate it, or dwell in darkness." or as the common saying went. "You can lead a horse to water but you cannot force it to drink."
So instead of saying anything, he frowned, then merely turned away and walked the perimeter of the room keeping watch for any other attacks or anything they may have missed.
Friday Daud |
”My thanks,” Friday tells Kasha as she begins retrieving the jaw. ”I owe you a painting after this.” he adds, some warmth in his voice.
Kasha Mvashti |
Uttering a brief invocation, Kasha conjures water from the air, washing her hands and her blade as she gets up. "Okay, where to next?"
Friday Daud |
"There's a door over there." Friday says while pointing to the southeastern corner of the room he had been heading to.
Kasha Mvashti |
"Everyone ready?"
Kavell Speranta |
"I would like to think that with that thing and her cleric down there shouldnt be much left that we would need your magic for, but we shall see."
He said sliding behind the dangerous spearman Friday.
Kasha Mvashti |
Nodding, Kasha follows, letting the warriors take the lead.
Kasha Mvashti |
"We came here looking for you,"Kasha says, approaching the heavy doors. "Did we find any keys on any of the bodies?" she asks over her shoulder.
Friday Daud |
Friday hesitates at the man's utterance in regards to the lady who had been searching for him nonstop. "Kavell?'
Kasha Mvashti |
Should work unless the door is over 3ft thick. "The spell can penetrate barriers, but 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt blocks it."

I HAVE RETURNED!
The interior of the cell is filled with inky darkness, along with a stale, fishy smell mixed with the stench of unwashed bodies. The sound of dripping water and a low moan echo through the still air.
Sitting in the corner is a haggard-looking Ulfen man, his dirty blond hair almost hanging off his scalp and getting matted against his filthy grey tunic. His blue eyes are wild with both hunger and disbelief.
"...Shelyn's sweet t&$~. You're real. You're actually real." He mumbles.

He had been about to welcome the man back to freedom. Instead he stepped forward and glared. Hard.
"There are innumerable deities to curse too, I don't expect to hear that curse again."
He began probably too harshly. The pendant to his patron goddess was clear on his chest. He might as well had slapped the Aasimar to make sure he was real... by the gods above Kavell was pretty sure he would have preferred that to the man impugning his goddess.
Kavell Speranta |
He merely cocked an eyebrow at the man when he was trying to suggest that exclaiming about his goddess' assets being a crude compliment at best was actually going to sway his words but he was glad when he changed the subject.
"we found a key on the Oni's corpse. Perhaps that can free you."
He began turning his pupiless gaze from the man to the rest of the room. Seeing nothing of note he moved to the further door testing its handle while the others freed the man.
Friday Daud |
Friday kept an eye on the two as they argued, he couldn’t really fault Kavell in this situation. But he also hoped they wouldn’t have to kill this man after going through so much to find him.
When he brings up the manacles Friday steps forward and goes through the keys they have.
GM_Jadecat |
One of the keys the party found fits the manacle perfectly. With a twist and a click, it pops free.
"Great. Wonderful." Ulf gets to his feet, his legs shaking violently and forcing him to lean against the wall.
Valeria Skendar |
"Agreed; if we missed anything then I doubt it's important enough to be done right now when we're tapped out. We can give the place another sweep tomorrow just to be sure we didn't miss anything."
Kavell Speranta |
"Its very cold in here and you've been locked up for some time, do you need help walking?"
He asked the man after checking the area. He reached forward and touche d his forehead, transferring some healing into the poor wretch.
