Yves
If someone wake up Yves, he immediately enter into rage and attack nearby enemies, continuing one by one, satisfying yourself only when all *toys* become destroyed!
On Rage for 8 rounds = Warhammer +5 (1d8+4/x3) {+1 vs foes who are threatened by only Yves} and AC 13 and + 2 hp.
Denenor
Switching the prioritization of sword and shield, Denenor took in his surroundings and tactics of his enemies. If they are dim enough to continue bashing me, perhaps the others can force them to yield...
"Very well, come! You'll prevail no more with me than against the walls of this very forge!"
Full Defense, +4 Dodge AC, so 24 AC now.

@Kibur I've only had your aoo, not your turn for this round, please just post both together if it comes up as it'll help things move faster. For next round please simply post your actions for last and this round.
@Elhona, your position has been slightly off as your posted location in the first round was not within reach of a homonculus. At the moment I have you at J14, which is the result of two 5fts. Please note you should be able to move your own character on the map now by simple click and drag.
Chandra sees that her mind effecting hex is having no effect on the constructs. But the others seem to be having similar luck with nerry a blow landing.
Once again the little clay monsters attack their respective targets, only Elhona who stepped back earning the opportunity to strike as her foe closes. But only one manages to get throughtheir defenses, nipping Gabriel on the arm, for a moment he feels a wooziness take him, but he is able to shake it off.

I believe I am in the wrong place I tried to move to I12.
Seeing that her spells are not working Chandra reverts to what works.

I am not going to be able to post today, so on my next turn
Chandra moves next to Yves
"Now is not the time to sleep" she yells while kicking him awake.
The Random DM
@Delenor, I'm going to assume Delenor keeps up full defensive to move things along, feel free to change that up if you wish Delenor I'm happy to retcon as needed.
While the rest of the party have no luck against their infuriatingly agile foes, Kibur manages to bring his axe to bear and smashes free one of the clay badgers legs. Despite this damage it attacks again with its fellows.
But everyone is able to evade the miniature monsters fangs, Denenor thanks only to his careful defensive manoeuvring.
Elhona gets an aoo as it enters her square again.
Everyone is up! - I have posted actions for Chandra and Yves, but will leave them until my post at the end of the round.

Effect stone wall whose area is one 5-ft. square

The stone shield provides you with cover from that enemy until the beginning of your next turn, granting you a +4 bonus to Armor Class and a +2 bonus on Reflex saving throws. If the opponent's attack misses you by 4 or less, the attack strikes the shield instead. The stone shield has hardness 8 and 15 hit points. If the shield is destroyed, the spell ends and the shield crumbles away into nothingness. Spells and effects that damage an area deal damage to the shield.

[oc]@Gabriel, please try and put some descriptive effort into posts, a bare minimum is fien, but I want to be able to read things as a narrative and rolls alone won't cut it.[/ooc]
Denenor cannot quite connect, his blade whistling by a hairsbreadth from his tiny foe.
Elhona's falcata sweeps through the air and strikes her clay foe with a crack that sends sparks flying and shhers the creatures head from its shoulders. Its wings flutter madly for a second and then it falls to the floor like the stone it is and shatters upon the cobbles!
Kibur just catches his opponent with his axe and clay dust rains down a framework of cracks appearing all over his already reduced foe. And Gabriel to catches his target a sharp blow sending fragments of clay flying in all directions and leaving the dwarven figure looking in bad shape.
Chandra shakes Yves and the barbarian's eyes pop open, realization swiftly dawning and transforming into rage. Stepping forward he bellows and swings his warhammer at the homonculus buzzing about Deneor. He catches the clay thing sending chips flying, but its clear the impact was not as solid as could be hoped.
The battered homonculi's response is as furious as ever, but only one manages to land a bite upon the furious Yves who shrugs off its sleep inducing poison - this time.
Everyone is up!

sling: 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (15) + 2 - 4 = 13

and hits the wall with style.
Denenor
Seemingly ignored by their foes, Denenor takes advantage of the opportunity to bound around the workbench and help his ally.
Move to J10.
It seems we have no choice but to put down this resistance. Kibur's slice missing its target, the elf used his positioning to ensure his blade would not meet the same fate.
Longsword: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22 Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Yves shatters his irksome foe with his hammer and Deneror moves to flank the last of the creatures with Kibur dealing it the final blow. Silence falls, the victorious party left alone with shattered remains, their wounds, and the dwarven corpse.
Victory! Gain 200 XP each. We'll be running on the fast track BTW.
Chandra Sylor
"Kibur, do you know why he died?"
Chandra asks as she begins to look around the forge mumbling as she goes.
"There must be some clues around here. If there are I am sure I will find them."
perception is +3 just let me know if you want me to roll instead.I will cast detect magic as I go.
1st Round: Presence or absence of magical auras.
2nd Round: Number of different magical auras and the power of the most potent aura.
3rd Round: The strength and location of each aura. If the items or creatures bearing the auras are in line of sight, you can make Knowledge (arcana) skill checks to determine the school of magic involved in each. (Make one check per aura: DC 15 + spell level, or 15 + 1/2 caster level for a nonspell effect.) If the aura eminates from a magic item, you can attempt to identify its properties (see Spellcraft).
Magical areas, multiple types of magic, or strong local magical emanations may distort or conceal weaker auras.
Aura Strength: An aura's power depends on a spell's functioning spell level or an item's caster level; see the accompanying table. If an aura falls into more than one category, detect magic indicates the stronger of the two.
Lingering Aura: A magical aura lingers after its original source dissipates (in the case of a spell) or is destroyed (in the case of a magic item). If detect magic is cast and directed at such a location, the spell indicates an aura strength of dim (even weaker than a faint aura). How long the aura lingers at this dim level depends on its original power:

1d100 ⇒ 51 Unknown
Spell: 1d65 ⇒ 23 Unknown
Chandra Spellcraft: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Chandra detects magic and is able to pick out a wand that appears to have rolled from the dwarf's hand onto the floor, where it now rests against the base of the forge. Unfortunately she is unable identify its magic with her spell.
Close to you can all see that the dwarf's skull has been caved in by a blow, blood has trickled from his eyes nose and mouth and largely filled a small depression on the workbench that looks shaped to hold a hammer.
Denenor
Denenor looks to the slain creatures and then to the victim. Something's not right. "I don't think these things were behind the smith's death; we must find who was and bring them to justice!" Doing so would be easier said than done though - and the paladin didn't have an eye for clues.
He turned to those with him. "Agreed," he affirms to Gabriel. "Is there anything about telling us who did?"
Kibur
Kibur looks over the slain dwarf to determine any details concerning his death.
heal skill: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
He also looks over area for signs or clues as to why he was in this state.
perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Yves
In the meantime in which his mates have been looking around, Yves takes a break on one of the workbenches while expects his breath come back to normal.
Anyway, he still looking to help, so, observing the aspects of the body of the slain dwarf and comparing with corpses that had been seeing in his life, Yves tries to give a clew in Kibur deductions.
Aid Another Heal: 1d20 ⇒ 6
...
"A hammer, the dwarf __ fell dead due to a hammer."
Chandra Sylor
Chandra begins looking for papers or other items that may contain a reason for this foul act.
perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
"There may be some papers or other information which will give us a clue"
The Random DM
Kibur matches the injury to something approximately the size and shape of the missing hammer from the workbench, making it a prime suspect as the murder weapon.
Elhona finds a partially completed and now ruined axe blade fallen into the coals, and can just make out a symbol upon it, a diamond shape with two crossed picks behind it.
No obvious paperwork can be found, but there is a blackboard at the far end covered in dwarven runes and tallies.
Axes [strikethrough]IIIIIIIIIII[/strikethrough]IIIIIII
Helms IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
Shields IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
Ozzit - Wealday, sundown. It is Wealday today, so this should be in a few hours.
Elhona Felar
Elhona grabs a set of tongs to retrieve the axe-blade from the forge and set where it can cool and the others apcan see it.
"I'm not familiar with the local insignia. Anyone recognize this pattern: a diamond with crossed picks? Seems like it' debt for a miners guild, or maybe the merchant'a guild that hires us."
Chandra Sylor
"Interesting markings" Chandra comments as she tries to remember anything about this pattern.
Knowledge Local: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
Knowledge History: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
Knowledge Nobility: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
"Can any of you fine dwarfs read this board?"
The Random DM
The best Gabriel can discern from the wound and the vacant space is that the hammer was some form of fairly hefty mallet, it looks like it could pass for a decent weapon, though it does not appear to have been designed as such.
Chandra racks her brains, but can recall nothing that seems to match the symbol.
Just noting that nobody has deigned to pick up the wand mentioned a few posts ago, that's loot folks!
Gabriel Ashtar
Loot for the magic types, not the monk :-)
So the impression in the bench, was that a design feature to hold the hammer or does it look like an impact mark? Like someone took a swing and missed? It seems odd either way. I don't know why someone would want a hole in their bench just to hold their hammer, and I don't understand why if someone took a swing at him and missed the dwarf didn't at least turn around. We did find him slumped face down on the bench with a dent in the back of his head right? Maybe I'm just visualizing the scene badly.
Chandra Sylor
Sorry I thought I did when I try to determine what it was.
Chandra smiles "I will hold onto the wand for now. Once we determine what it does we can decided who should get it. If that is ok with everyone that is."
if no one object she will place it in her backpack
The Random DM
I'll note that you could probably plunder a large number of masterwork tools, etc. Its up to your characters whether you think this is appropriate or not. From my end treasure will be randomish and I'll adjust the number of times I roll depending upon how wealthy I feel you are relative to your level.
Elhona Felar
Elhona coughs as Chandra pockets the wand. "Only until we identify it. It is this poor dwarf's property, and should be returned to his family, if any reside here." She does not move to pick up anything from the shop, only to make a mental inventory of what is there.
Yves
Refreshed, Yves raises and speaks to everyone
"Leave Chandra keep the wand, if it belongs to someone we´ll refund for the owner.
So, for now...
Let's return to Jacq Hire House and take the clues we´ve collected. Maybe Jacqueline Bright can help us, or else someone can get relevant information about what happened in taverns by Absalom.
What do you think?"
