Next level he will be oficially undead.. Atm is in-between, still has a con score etc, so i dont think you would be able too..
When he becomes undead though bolstering him will be most welcome.. Commanding him would be harder since he gets a save and would probably warn you not to ever do that again if you tried..
We're deffinitely gonna have to set up some perma desecrates in the horn once we get there..
Vladamir Orlovsky
There's nothing wrong with trying it once.. Not being wise and not listening when a fledgling vampire ask you not comman him again is two different things..
One day soon he'll have a fairly high dc dominate so watch out!
Seth la Kor
To be fair Seth is still a decent babysitter. He might point out that Vlad is already a friend, and that trying to -make- him one would mean she'd be able to make one less friend elsewhere.
No idea if it'll actually work but there are possibilities... One of them just happens to be Vlad failing his save constantly. XD

I know you have certain urges, but you can't just go around dominating little girls, Vlad.
Lilpinny Marfedelom
Ooh, in response to Seth, maybe Lil could help Vlad to become a vampire? I realize that by RAW he doesn't need help, but I think it would be cool if Lil "helped" the process to turn him into a vampire instead of just slowly killing him.
Vladamir Orlovsky
I was talking about you lol.. But now that mentioned it sure i can.. They'd need a nat 20 to resist and he can get reports etc..
Argan Midnight
Yes I agree Vlad, but Lil is not that wise :p
I got you covered, don't worry... He can't use Smite Good on me MUA HA HA HA HA!!
In my other games, the players trained Grumblejack as they saw fit, since he was 'almost' a member of the knot.
How is your relationship with him? Does he like you? Or you just bullied him into serving?
He helped us escape the prison, and we healed and supported during that fight, so we came up being allies. Argan thinks he is too dumb to be a threat to the group, and could be used in the right way on fights, but we discarded him when we left Thorn's mansion, since he was too big for the boat trip, and would call too much attention close to Balentyne tower. Anyway, someone brought him back and we really could use a meat shield like him, so we had sent him into the jungle south of Farholde, and ordered him to have fun in the woods and do NOT draw attention until we meet him at a designed spot. Your call if you want to keep this or not.

I thought there was some secret hiddy hole entrance that we could take to our quarters?
Yeah, such passage exists. I assumed you would not be using it while openly staying as guests in the Baron house. It’s a small town, and everyone knows you are ‘friends’ of Vandermir.
I’ll ask for those things next time.| Argan Midnight |
Roll high guys!

@All
For moving things, I would like to fast forward you guys to meeting with the Seventh. It's the only 'key-timed' event in this part of the game, after it, you'll be able to explore, talk, buy, bully, kill as you please with no worry about missing any appointment.
What you guys think?
Argan Midnight
Let's go!
Kharn the Binder *Cleaned-Up*
I'm fine with moving ahead.
Seth la Kor
Lil. Did we make the scroll of Desecrate the night before? And do you want to eat the costs or would you like to split it? (I'd personally like to save as much as I can for more situational scrolls like remove disease and such, to keep the slots I have focused more on aiding the group in battle. That said, making scrolls of desecrate free's up slots for me to so either way works.)
Vladamir Orlovsky
It wasn't until Farholde that Vlad made any serious attempts at her and that was one of the other games that went to oblivion.. He didn't talk much with them at the manor.

Not a choice. Trying to disguise yourself as another race doesn't work with the crown. Technically, Seth is a Outsider (Native). Unlike Humanoid (Elf/Human/Orc), he doesn't have another subrace that would work... Although I suppose he might be able to try for Aasimar mechanically. I might even think of how that would work too... Hrm...
Argan Midnight
He's a tiefling (outsider), so he cannot disguise as another type of creature (humanoid), according to the Disguise Self spell says, but in my opinion that was made to avoid someone making ridiculous stuff, like transforming a kobold into a halfling, or something like that. I don't see why it wouldn't work in this case, but that's just me.
Seth la Kor
@Lil: The item that the Iron Circlet emulates is...
Hat of Diguise
This apparently normal hat allows its wearer to alter her appearance as with a disguise self spell. As part of the disguise, the hat can be changed to appear as a comb, ribbon, headband, cap, coif, hood, helmet, or other headwear.
The disguise self spell has a limitation.
You make yourself - including clothing, armor, weapons, and equipment - look different. You can seem 1 foot shorter or taller, thin, fat, or in between. You cannot change your creature type (although you can appear as another subtype). Otherwise, the extent of the apparent change is up to you. You could add or obscure a minor feature or look like an entirely different person or gender.
As a Humanoid, your subtype's are limited to any other Humanoid race. As an Outsider, my subtypes are limited to other Outsider subtypes. Downside is that there are not many such subtypes. In fact, there is only one I'm aware of. Native. So theoretically Seth could appear as an Aasimar while getting the full bonus of the circlet and he may in fact do so in the future, but until I thought about it tiefling seemed the only option.
@Argan: And I agree, Argan, but mechanically it's against the rules and I'm not really in favor of asking for things to be changed that are so clear cut. In character, I plan to play it off as how certain magics interact with him. Remember, as an Outsider (Native), Seth get's some pretty decent immunities to certain a certain staple of spells (Charm person doesn't work, you need Charm Monster. Same for Dominate Person). This is not a bad limitation as trade off.
Seth la Kor
Alright, now I'm entirely confused. He should have had that will save when he first saw me or not at all, since that's part of interacting with the illusion. Or at least more so then a handshake would be since I didn't say anything specific about changing his hands or skin coloration.
Despite that, Seth still has a plus 10 naturally to Disguise, and finally the disguise doesn't make him look that much differen. If he see's through it, he see's a younger tiefling in the same guard who just rolled very high on his bluff. Jumping straight 'Spawn of the Devil' is far to reaching.

The Hat of disguise is a trick bit, helps you disguise yourself but it is still magic.
To disbelief an illusion magic, you need to interact with it. Seeing it does not count as interaction.
Overall, as long you don’t touch someone, I always consider your disguise to be effective, within the spell limit.
Any ‘touch’ gives the other one a will save to disbelief it, and another perception to notice the disguise, without the hat bonus (If the save was successful).
About the ‘spawn of devil’ I blame: “On the one hand, he is shorter than the average male at 5'7 and carries little to no muscle. What is there is lean and hard, but mostly undefined. On the other hand his skin is a solid crimson throughout, his eyes glow a brilliant red, his soot black hair hangs to his back and is framed by long red horns sticking out of his forhead. All of that is touched off by a slowly swaying tail, thin and narrow that ends in a point much like an arrow head.” This is what the poor man saw.
The level 1 cleric was already ‘afraid’ dealing with you, and you used up an illusion magic to change your appearance.
Thief, liar, spawn of the devil and some more insults as soon he have time to say it.
But basically, he is overreacting, since you don't have any Asmodeus Symbol visible or anything that would make you guilt. And this last bit I wanted you to notice in game, but well...

I don't mind being questioned about what happens in the game, but it is way more enjoyable if you trust me as your DM.
I’m not really playing to ‘screw’ you or anything like that.
S&*@ happens, not everything goes as planned. Roll with it and deal with the situation as your character would, instead of questioning mechanical bonus and values. The scene gets richer in role play and your character gets more involved with the world.

+1.

What it does do is encourage me to never use a disguise again, if they are that easily seen or broken through with the circlet. That's not something a DM should be doing. If you want to change mechanics, the actual rules, then you need to do it without limiting options that weren't already broken. Illusion is already risky, why should I be happy with the idea that a hand shake would suddenly give him a will save? There's a reason I kept the illusion minimalistic for this one and it didn't matter.
You ask me to trust you, while at the same time removing a skill I was having a lot of fun with from the game as an option. And you might not intentionally be out to screw me but you definitely are screwing me out of fun. If that's how you want to keep things I'm redistributing my disguise skill into something else.
Edit: You want me to trust you as a DM, listen to what I'm saying and why I'm saying it. Don't simply dismiss this complaint. It's a big one, since the disguises were a large aspect of the character.
Edit 2: Saw your first post and actually, no, you're wrong. Interacting with the illusion means interacting with the illusion. If I had said as part of Seth's disguise he was wearing gloves that the illusion made, but he actually wasn't, and the priest touched his hand that would be interacting with the illusion. Right now, all I've described is his face because that's all I changed for this disguise with the illusion.

@Seth
All I hear you saying is: I want to use something and never have it to fail when I'm using.
Your argument is now changing to something impracticable. Since Pathfinder does not establish body parts rules: I'll use magic only in my right toe from my left feet.
I'm not removing a skill, in fact I'm making it easier to use, so much as long there's no contact, I'll never roll a perception check to see if they see or not your disguise.
Yep, I'm asking you to trust me, but up to now all I have heard you saying is: Do things the way I want.
==//==
On a side note, let tell you something really interesting:
The game does not run or is done in the way you think is should be done. That's the DM prerogative. I strongly advise you to learn to cope with it, because unless you show me what I'm doing wrong, complaints about such as yours, for things to be done the way you want, does not make me change things in the way I run my games.
Edit: And also, No skill reallocating after the game started.
