I feel like I should remind people that Kal'Tos can move 30 in his armour so if our group is moving slower than that, it isn't the dwarf's fault.

Being slowed down due to armour is one thing a dwarf can never be accused of. Also why any way you can give a dwarf a speed increase is awesome.

That does sound a lot like Vallen.
Sure, but you'll have to retrain both levels of cleric before it takes effect. That shouldn't be a problem, since the game is all about downtime, right?

What did we do the first time? We just went through, notice the rot, and then put it off for later, iirc? I think we should make sure we can't do anything - it would only take a day or so to really comb over the area (and we should bring a good set of knowledges with us - I think that was the problem last time, we needed kno: planes or something and all anyone had was nature).

Kal'Tos, Tomag, how do you feel about searching the Rotten Valley?

LG Male Dwarf Cleric (Iron Priest) 5 | HP: 28/28| AC: 19 (12 Tch, 17 Ff) | CMB: +3, CMD: 15 | F: +4, R: +3, W: +7| Init: +2 | Perc: +3, SM: +3 | Speed 20ft | ACP: -3| Channel: 3/3 |Active conditions: Comprehend Langauges (50 min), Divine Favor (+1atk/dam, 1 min), Protection from Evil (5 min)

I should clarify- I don't think searching the rotten valley in the NEWSPRING hex will do us much good. Sharpeyes may or may not know, but I have the feeling either the entire river is cursed OR the source is cursed.

If the entire river is cursed that is some serious mojo that I don't think we can do anything about right now. If just the source of the river is cursed we will have to travel north following the cursed river, which we can do.

However, who knows what kind of evil lurks in the rotten valley/what happens to someone if they stay there too long? Don't drink the water, for sure.

If we do find the source and it's ancient powerful bird magiks spoiling the water we may not be able to do anything about that either.

I'm down for searching. Tomag doesn't have Know: Planes, but he's curious and looking to help.

male Dwarf barbarian 3

Kal'Tos isn't really a knowledge cleric. He only has religion and dungeoneering. But still he is willing to explore.

On another note, at what point do we acknowledge that we have lost 2 more players. Related to that I think it would be a shame to have their 2 PCs die with them, even if they more or less fade into the background it leaves us with more named and stated NPCs.

LG Male Dwarf Cleric (Iron Priest) 5 | HP: 28/28| AC: 19 (12 Tch, 17 Ff) | CMB: +3, CMD: 15 | F: +4, R: +3, W: +7| Init: +2 | Perc: +3, SM: +3 | Speed 20ft | ACP: -3| Channel: 3/3 |Active conditions: Comprehend Langauges (50 min), Divine Favor (+1atk/dam, 1 min), Protection from Evil (5 min)

As much as I would not like to accept it I agree with Kal'tos- Gair and Zoriya have been dark for an abnormal 3 weeks., and have completely vanished from the Paizo site. I would be surprised if they came back. Gaross and Ben came back, but they actually stated they were leaving as well.

I would also be sad to see all their characters die. The 2PCs never asked for this!

Yeah, I'd be against straight killing them off. At the very least, Tomag really does care for Zoriya's sons, and would hate to see them lose their mother.

The sickness has them on hold for now.

Gair has been with us since the beginning, and mentioned that things were crazy with his work, so I'm inclined to hold his spot to an almost obnoxious length. The sickness is the in-game effect of that, and he'll be losing con every day he's out until he dies.

Hassan has become so much Gair's character, I'm split on whether to keep him as an NPC or just put him down.

Zoriya I'm ambivalent about. I've really enjoyed her contributions, but she wasn't around so long that I feel as connected as I do with Gair.

Regardless, we should probably talk about whether we want to do replacements or not.

We could do one replacement for now? In case Gair or Zoriya comes back it would put us at the original six. If both come back well.. buffer in case someone else leaves?

I don't know how we'd do it, but I'd love to capture some of these pigs and domesticate them. Of course, that would require an animal pen, someone to play animal trainer for weeks, and food for the pigs, so its probably out of reach for now.

I wanted to get in front of Kal'Tos, but being medium armor before mithral is suffering.

I can ignore difficult terrain for several rounds a day, which is awesome. I can't say enough awesome things about the travel domain, great base ability, granted powers and decent domain spells. and the domain really fit the backstory I had for Kal'Tos.
