If you look her way you note the sword Sara is using is a black balded Ninjatō and very well made to, and those moves you have seen them before, there to distract, to throw off, to trick, NINJA!

The Council GM |

As "Sara" leaps into action with her words of violence and striking pose she manages to cause the first traitor from the Warden's lackeys to be shaken, his hand seeming to reverberate around the pommel of his sword.
Suzume saw one just behind this one that reminded him of a certain Royal Guard Arvalis he enjoyed picking on- only, of course, this one was going to get picked on and die. Regardless, he too was shaken by the fact that staying meant his body would not only be mangled, but mangled in a dehumanized way.
Despite their encouragement for the traitors to retreat, they refused- advancing upon them instead as they insisted by the points of their swords that Warden Franklin be released.
In answer to Telula's exclamation of "What the hells?" a man stepped forward with a grin about his face This is only the lesser of us, my dear foreign b+#@+. We cannot wait for you all to meet... the Chains.
Five men began to close in around Telula, unsure of what she was capable of, and seemingly debating between attacking her first or making a break for the door-
As they did so, one of the Protection Guild Members assisting made their way over to Telula with an exclamation To act such a way to a lady so close to King Gogrin is shameful! I will slay all five of you before you can touch her!

The Rioter slashed across the guard with a short lived sneer as the Guild Member returned the look with satisfaction as his rapier broke the rioter's skin, causing him to stumble and a few others to turn their eyes on the guard.
Suzume go ahead, only the ones that go before Telula have gone- Lady feel free to ready an action or wait for my next post. Since we are in pretty heavy combat, there should be a post a night for now <3

Vasu |

Vasu stared indignantly at Sealith, at a complete loss for words. She opened her beak, closed it, and then opened it once more. The tufted feathers serving for all intents and purposes as her eyebrows were pulled into a deep, muddled frown. After much deliberation, a few short words flew from Vasu's vocal cords.
"Vasu not... Choice? But Vasu... Master. Friend?"
Her disjointed musings made as little sense to her as to any onlooker. Her brain seemed to be whirring at a pace infinitely faster than the speed at which her mouth could form sounds.
"Friend. Friend, friend, friend." Vasu tested the word. "Seal does not follow Master. Why? Master give orders. Why the dragon give orders? Sealith tell Vasu to tell her things. But Sealith not be master." Her Auran grammar and sentence structure broke down more and more as she grew continually confused. "Sealith say friend. Vasu be friend? But Master not be friend? Of dragon? Choice? Vasu follow Master. Master give choice. Tell Seal dragon not be choice. Yes, yes?"

Sealith Dealesk |

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16
Sealith tried to make sense of what Vasu was trying to get at, but, considering Vasu's reaction she was close to the mark.
"I do not follow a false leader, nor one whose heart does not exhist. He only lives for power and not for the people. He would throw you away as soon as you were not useful to him. Right now, you are useful so he will keep giving you orders. If you wish me to give you orders I can but you are my friend first. This means I would stick by your side because I wish to and I enjoy your company. NOT because you are useful but because I like who you are."
'KILL HER! SHE WILL BETRAY YOU!' Says the angry spirit at her side
'Oh, dear she does look guilty doesn't she. You probably should drag the information out of her.' The calmer spirit spoke.
'If she intends to betray us then she will do so. There is no need to kill her before she has shown her true feathers.' Said the warrior spirit.
A fourth, new voice joined the other three. 'Either way, I will protect our charge and keep blades away from her. None will stand against us.'
Sealith ignored him. "That one you call master is afraid of you. You are strong and powerful, so he wishes to keep you thinking you are weak and unworthy. You are no such thing. You are growing to be a powerful Syrinx unlike any the world has seen. I would like to watch you grow and would like to help. But you must chose. Stand beside your master and stay his pet, or stand beside us as a friend and we can grow strong together."

Sorry for the delay everyone, been busy.
Round 1
Taking some steps back, the Arcanist chanted a quick arcane phrase while moving her hands in a precise sequence. A disk of energy flashed in front of her for a moment, but soon disappeared. On a rush of pure adrenaline, Telula then spoke another phrase and executed another set of gestures before stretching forth her hand towards the thugs. Two bolts of energy flew from her fingertips and struck two of the bastards unerringly.

The rioters seem wary of "Sara" as she calls out threat to them, but two move right up to the side of the carriage regardless, most likely in an attempt to soon climb up after her. NICE innovation on jumping up on the carriage!
Meanwhile Suzume's blade drew out spews of blood as it cut across the same rioter the guard of the Protection Guild had just stabbed, effectively cutting him down in one quick motion as Telula cast her lightning bolts at two more, gravely searing both of their lightly armored chests.
On the other side of the carriage the remaining rioters moved in on the lone guard, flanking him as he attacked after them with his own rapier, missing the first on a misstepped lunge but quickly recovering to stab the other two-

Gods damned showoff ninjas, think they're so much better than everyone. Suzume muttered to himself, but was also sure to make his voice loud enough to be heard by said showoff.
He spun his blade, flicking off the gobs of flesh, then pointed the tip to the next closest rioter. First I'm going to kill you. He said, then pointed it to another rioter. Then you, then you, and finally, you. He said, then ran in to work on that promise.

Making good on his promise, Suzume spun in a brilliant arc around the Protection Guild Member and in a single, very samurai de-sheathe and draw, cut clean across the chest of the rioter Telula had just blasted in the chest with a brilliant arc of lightning.
Blood splurted as, in only a matter of moments, another one of the cocky rioters fell down in a pool of their own blood.

In his over confidence, however, the man missed, leaving himself wide open to attack from Telula.
Meanwhile, hearing the vast amount of remaining forces on the other side, the Protection Guild Member began to move along the side of the wagon in hopes of flanking those on the other side.
Suzume you get an AoO on the one who advanced after Telula, then Telula and Lady you can feel free to attack as well, since it would take any of the enemies remaining 1 standard action just to reach you regardless

Vasu's eyes shifted nervously between Sealith and a point off in space, her body physically shaking with confusion. Before she could reply, however, she saw several massive orcs running through the snow and toward her scaled companion and her. The half of Vasu's mind that was purely a soldier kicked in, and she grabbed Sealith's hand. Vasu's wings opened without her consciously making the decision to fly. She beat them against the chilly air.
A sharp pop met her ears as she jerked Sealith's hand upwards, practically pulling Sealith into the sky behind her.
You can decide the severity of what that noise indicated, Sealith.

Sealith would launch herself as she felt Vasu's hand grab hers and took off. Flapping her large wings taking to the air to get the height needed.
The large pop was Sealith's wrist but she didn't mind. Instinctually Vasu reached to pull her out of danger. Her wrist bones had popped from the suddenness of her yanking. After all it took a bit more effort for a Samuraian to get into the air.
She probably would have some issues with that wrist in the possible fight to come but she would still remain victorious.
Her eyes scanning their numbers and seeing what they had on them. Auran "We should inform the village. As much as I would love to fight them I know right now they outnumber us." Thinking on it she counted them quickly and thought about the terrain in between thinking of an idea as she called on the spirits to protect her.

Sealith counted nearly twenty Orog scrambling and marching towards the camp- based on their pace on land, they would most likely reach it within the next hour, giving them just half an hour or so to warn and gather the villagers post arriving.
The forest was thick, and the Orog seemed to be coming out of nowhere- it would help that they were being loud, but most wouldn't see them until it was too late- until they emerged from the forest itself.

Yet another flashing combination of Telula's magic arc of lightning and Suzume's blade clashed together against a rioter, felling them to the ground. The two Protection Guild Members turned on yet another rioter, felling them as well, while "Sara" gravely wounds yet another.
The remaining two rioter's cowered and crowded together, dropping their weapons with a clank on the ground and hands in the air Mercy! Mercy! Clearly the King's claim is good, for him to have hired such a power group of outsiders, for the Vault to have started such a powerful new guild! Mercy! Mercy!
-----------------Meanwhile------------------
Sealith quickly landed at camp to find Alvaris and Trisha rounding up the rest of the group for their lunch break, sitting at cheaply wooden made tables or, in the greater populace, basic blankets laid about the ground. As Sealith and Vasu landed with a thud, Alvaris looked up, wide-eyed Where in the hell did you go?? And where did you just come from? You don't see Master Suzume around, do you? I'll never live down him knowing I'm actually drinking milk with lunch today.

Lady Lynyna Br-oul |

Sara cleans her blade and then puts it away.
"Lock them up, and deal with the hurt."
She then walks over to Telula
"My lady I hope you are unhurt, I am sorry about that, we did not expect them to be so rash in their act to set the traitor warden free."

Sealith Dealesk |

"There is no time for who or who isn't going to live down drinking milk. There are orcs on their way here, at least 22 that I stumbled upon. Possibly more. Send runners informing the guard and Suzume. Get everyone able to the wall and spread word along it there may be more." The look on her face was serious, but then agian, her look was always serious.
"MOVE IT!" She snapped to denote the urgency of the matter.

![]() |

Suzume chuckled at the two survivors. While I do not condone for cowardice, I much appreciate yours at the moment. He said, then walked over to Telula and Sara, just glad not to end this fight unonscious.
Milady Telula. You were exquisite. All those enemies we fell together. We make a fantastic team.
He turns to Sara. Ninja, eh? He said. I suppose I can get around that. Good fight, friend. What brings you out here?

Vasu |

Vasu's beak hung open as she watched the massive humanoids emerge from the forest and utterly decimate every living thing in their path. As soon as Sealith flitted her wings, however, Vasu pulled herself from her stunned state and took off flying toward 42, the sounds of a bipedal stampede slowly fading off into the distance as she grew closer and closer to the settlement. As soon as the thrumming of footsteps faded entirely from earshot, she cocked her head toward Sealith questioningly.
"What creatures those be? Come from where?"

Sealith Dealesk |

To Vasu in Auren. "Orcs, bad tempered creatures that love any excuse to go to war and raid. I didn't notice any particular markings on them but they knew they were headed here so some other group. Could be from the speaker or even this Matthias person. Either way they are a threat we must eliminate."

Lady Lynyna Br-oul |

He turns to Sara. Ninja, eh? He said. I suppose I can get around that. Good fight, friend. What brings you out here?
She looks at him with a slight smile.
"I am doing my duty, keeping the peace and bringing those who seek to harm 42 to book. It is a job I like doing and work hard to do well Sword master Suzume of the Sunclaw Clan. Your a long way from home and here on behest of the Empire I am told. I am also sorry for your loss, I was told of it last night. My I ask plainly do you and the others with you still stand for the Empire now you have seen what they aim to do here. No less than bring 42 under its yoke no matter the means?"

The Council GM |

As "Sara", Suzume, and Telula wrapped up business outside, people began to slowly flow into the streets once more. One or two began to mop up some of the blood spilt, muttering about hooligans and traitors under their breath as they did so. The men were chained and roughly thrown inside the carriage previously escorting Warden Franklin as "Warden Franklin" had been removed and put, in chains, inside the home of Gogrin.
Aram, peeking his head out once more, ushered for them all to fall in rank inside the house as they continued their conversation.
--------------------------
After Sealith's command, Arvalis quickly took to his horse, whistling for two others to join him as he did so while several others around the camp gathered their weapons and began to prepare for their first real battle. Mood: 1d20 ⇒ 17 Nearly all of them appeared confident and well taken to their first battle knowing that Sealith would be at the head of their command, as well as the one many had seen fend off a saber cat or two and was building quite the reputation for being a hunter.
Trisha approached Sealith once the troops were reading, telling Sealith that they had nearly 20 people fully equipped and prepared for combat, but that there were about 20 others capable of helping with weapons despite being unarmored- leaving the call and plans to Sealith and Vasu, Trisha awaited their response.

He observed the scenery around him. Another day, another massacre. He sheathed his blade. I think we've just been invited inside, Sara. He turned and walked towards the house.

Lady Lynyna Br-oul |

"O not far from here, but I read a lot, and that Fuchi is very distinctive, you do not look or sound like one to steal other clans."
She cleans her swords and gos to get her dropped bow.
"F&&* the empire, that is a sentiment I like to hear, after what they sort to do here with the warden, my dislike for them has grown to hate."
She says as she walks to the house and heads in.

Suzume looks down at his blade and inspects it briefly, impressed to find out that Rita and her boys have taken more than just shape in mind when they crafted this blade off of Doshaburi. Actually not from my clan, but from here, based off my actual sword which is getting fixed up, though. Suzume said.
Didn't like them from the start, it grew to all out hatred when they killed milord Perpireen. He shook his head. A lord before his own time.
Suzume follows her, making a hand-gesture to Beru so she's stay outside and fertilize.

The Council GM |

As Suzume and "Sara" continued talking, Aram quickly interjected Sara Killinton is the Guild Master of the Protection Guild, a guild I began to fund immediately to counter Warden Franklin and his guard upon inheriting the 42nd Vault. Aram gave a sly smile at the chained "Warden" as he spoke before continuing Now, my dear Sara, this is your show- how would you like to proceed? And, of course- Aram took a quick glance at Telula Feel free to put in your input, and yours, Suzume, as well. Telula and I were discussing a public trial, or a private execution. At your talk of Milord Perpireen for a moment you see Sara stiffen, then walk on. As if there was a deep hurt there. But what how could this woman even know Perpireen.
Sara stands for a moment, so looks around, sending the guards, but one, she sends him to get the warden. Now only they are in the space.
"There is a 3ed option, and one I like much better, we can use this attack to our advantage and wrong foot any one linked to the warden. He could have been killed here, in this fight. Trying to get away, so how the attackers got a blade to him, when we went for him he attacked me, in the straggle he died. Its spears up a trail, and an execution. I think we can rap a body up for the pyre today, burn it in public. Then no remains, we can use one of the dead attackers and bad it out. I know what your thinking why would we need a body for the Warden when we have him here, well."
She walks over to the warden and nodding and helps the real Sara remove her face disguise. Then heads behind a chaining blind set up by one of her men. From behind it she talks as she takes off Saras armor and changes into a fine Fay made Dress. As she changes she talks.
"The fact is the warden has been dead for a day now. How dos not matter, but we needed him to pull out his gang into the open and show him as a traitor. So we had Sara here take on his role with my help. We do not need the trail now, his guilt is open for all to see, the attack here on the future Queen of 42 has shown just who he was working for, and to be fair a little Ambiguity, will help us later. There are other factions who wish harm to this City."
She steps out from behind the Changing Bland and indicates for Sara to Change back into her uniform.
There is a definite Fey look to this human woman, she Stand some 5'10" slander and with a fine beautiful face. She is stunning to look at, Her Clothing is simple but very well made. Elf/Fey in design.
As Sara passes she says quietly to her.
"Thank you Sara that was most brave"
"I think its about time I introduced myself to you, I am The Lady Lynyna Br-oul, the betrothed to the Late Lord Perpireen Mc-Gibel."
She stops a moment as she says his name, then with a breath carrys on.
"We where linked as only Fey can be, on his death I know. So I came here at once to avenge him. I am here of my own accord, this is a matter of the heart. Once here Aram was kind enough to offer me a chance to start, I took him up on his offer to Killing and disgrace and kill an agent of the Empire. One who sort all your deaths by toxin. So with a little fey magic art to change my form for a time, the plan was uncovered and the fat repulsive warden was dispatched. I hope you do not mind, you see it had a most gratifying feeling to see the Empires plans stopped so."
She looks sad for a moment, then says
"its just a start, I look forward to doing much more in the years to come. That is with your help"
As Sara comes out after changing, she stands and waits on what you will say.

Suzume was almost smiling, if only his beak would bend that way. Milady. He said. I knew something was... odd, about you. I couldn't have imagined this, though. It is truly a small world, now isn't it. I'm... I'm sorry about milord. He passed defiantly, if it is any consolation. His last great action was in defiance to the Empire.
Years to come... if only we last that long, milady. He said. However long we last, I'm going to make my existance a throbbing pain for the Empire.

Lady Lynyna Br-oul |

Show nods her head at the Tengus words,
"He would be just like him to act so, he had strong feeling on how the Empire has sourt treat the fey and our realm, no after his death I hold the same views"

The Council GM |

You notice as Suzume and Lady Lynyna discuss longevity that Aram gives a wicked curl of a smile to his lips and gives you a wink, before continuing on-
No need to worry, Lady Lynyna, I speak for nearly the entire Council of 42 when I saw that, despite the means, we are all going to be very happy with the end of Warden Franklin.
Now... A body... Hmmm... Well, the Protection Guild is already cleaning up the dead from the streets- as far as anyone knows only one body is in here... How do we move out a body that doesn't exist from this room? There are, obviously, careful eyes all over this city that are against us...
Sara grinned We could bring in the ones who surrendered, and kill one of them?
Aram gasped DC 15 Sense Motive Sara!
Sara sighed Yes yes, Protection Guild not mercenaries. Lady Lynyna- do you have any recommendations on how to move out a body we don't have, without bringing any others in?

Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
Telula just sat back and listened everything that was being said. She was still relatively new to the whole political scene, and much of this was going over her head. But, she was always a quick study.

Lady Lynyna Br-oul |

She stood a moment thinking,
"subterfuge is a fey past time, I can think of a number of ways, but the simplest is, It not be a real body, his clothing has his sent, all we been is Blood, cloth and meat. If there some meat in the house, a chank should do, we make up a form of a body with what we have to hand here, rap it and sock some parts in blood. If any I have some magic healing, so if some would is willing to bleed a little, we can make what can pass for a rapped body and have it taken out to be burned."

Sense Motives: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26
I'll agree with your partner, real-Sara-San. Suzume said. I am not in the habbit of running through anyone who's already surrendured to our awesome might.
We could always just walk the streets until someone assaults us and use their body.Suzume suggested. That appears to happen quite often around here. Other than that, turning the warden into roast beef sounds... interesting. Do we get to eat him afterwards?

The Council GM |

Aram nodded, and Gogrin's house servant left for the kitchen to fetch meat and a rug Archer quote ftw. as Sara tsk'd to Suzume Yeah, until you find out they've been plotting to kill your benefactors for full control of our "city" over the course of the past three years. I'm not too friendly towards... Disloyalty.
An unusually devouring smile came about Sara's face as she said this while the servant then came about and made the preparations according to Lady Lynyna's instructions. Just as they finished, a familiar face emerged through the door, who almost attempted an eye roll as he saw Suzume Master Suzume, Mr. Aram- Master Sealith sent me and a few others to get your help in dealing with some sort of forces moving in on our work camp in the South-Eastern Quadrant but... what happened here???
Arvalis stood in the doorway with two others, bringing Sara to draw her sword until a gentle hand from Aram assured her this man, too, was a friend.
Sealith- let me know if you'd like me to move forward with what's going on in the South-East

For that behavior, my tribe used to throw the offending party into the yak stalls, chained to the hind-legs of their most incontinent yak. Suzume said. If you need anything from your survivors, I can have a... friendly chat with them.
Milker of the Yak! Suzume said with wide arms. Well, in short, people started revolution, and now people are dead. How have you been?

Lady Lynyna Br-oul |

She says
"Please just call me Lady L, I find it simple and easy for others to remember."
The before the servants come once more Lady Lynyna moves behind the screen again, so that only Suzume, Aram, Sara and the future Queen, saw her in her fey from.
As Suzume talks, she seems to be quietly changing cloths, then as someone comes to the door, and there is the sound of a sword being pulled she stops out to see what is going on.
Her Clothing is simple and noble, on her back a sword. She looks at the new comers but says nothing.
