Alexi's mother was shunned. Alexi's father was in denial. He knew not what he could do. A bleak morning in his early childhood, an elder from the village approached the home. He made a promise to the father. He offered to take Alexi. To teach him to control his emotions, to learn of his spirit, mind, and body. He would teach him the way of balance, and strength. Alexi's training was slow, and drawn out. He proved a willing and capable student. One night, he was assaulted, and taken from the elders abode. When he awoke, he was greeted by his mother. She had taken him to an unfamiliar place, deep underground. The woman who had made a pact with the Oni, had lost her humanity. She was nothing more than a servant of the Demons and Devils.
As he grew into adolescence, Alexi was abused by his mother, physically, sexually, and mentally. The only thing he had to cling to were the teachings of his elder. He meditated and practiced when he could be left alone. When he was not used so wantonly by his mother, and her demonic masters. As he continued to grow, he became stronger, smarter, and wiser, all by listening to the multiverse as his master had taught him. When opportunity arose, he confronted his mother, alone, and slayed her.
He found his way to the surface, and did what he could to find his way home. When he arrived at the village, he saw it was no more. Ruins of his once home were all that remained. Skeletons, ashes and death were all that greeted him. His anger overwhelmed him. Anger at himself, anger at his mother, and anger at his abusers. He became disgusted with his body, and in an attempt to free himself from his hatred, performed a self castration with the sharpest remnant he could find.
Years passed by him as he wandered the world. He continued his training to discover the secrets of the multiverse, finding his way into arcane studies. He traveled to well known libraries, finding and pouring through their magical tomes, learning all that he could. He melded his knowledge of the arcane with his previous training. He would teach small pieces of knowledge to many people along his travels, all for a meal, or room to stay in, anything to drown out his hatred. Until eventually he made his way to the merchant nation of Monsalbum. Alexi found himself a place to open a dojo. He was tired of wandering. He wanted it no more. Instead he embraced his hatred. He let it give him strength. Alexi offered training to anybody who sought to learn. But Alexi was a rutheless teacher.
Alexi would frequently beat and maim his students, all in an attempt to become more powerful himself. What he discovered, was that he enjoyed their suffering. As more students came to study, Alexi would show no mercy, breaking, or killing those not strong enough to stand in his dojo. He gained a sick reputation for his antics, eventually retiring into solitude. But he was far from finished. He took his favored students into an inner circle of followers. These students would spread the teachings to other parts of the world.
Eventually, Alexi had heard of an organization of powerful people. The Shadow Syndicate. His heart had grown evil, and this was an opportunity he felt. An opportunity to spread his malice and cruelty. This was his new goal. To meet with the Syndicate. To join them.

If you were to ask a dwarf after the true meaning of darkness, he might answer with the final light of his forge. A halfling might jest that us larger folk have grown too many, and simply blot out the sun. Humans instinctually know the meaning of this word, but a rare few would utter it. And elves, in their cities of trees and green life fear it for what it is, surrounding themselves with the things they hold dear.
It is the silence before the storm, the crouch before the pounce and raking claws rend life from its vessel. It is as death, indiscriminate and unforgiving.
Few in this world remember the early days of creation. When the young mortals first sought out the false comfort that light would bring, only to inevitably bend their knee when the dark came to call.
There is a legend among the elves, that has long passed into myth as newer generations continue still to run, to hide. That the denizens of the First World, their true ancestors could tame the darkness, become one with it. These beings of dark and shadow would wield it like a weapon, wear it like a cloak against would-be attackers. But who, prey tell, would provoke the wrath of creatures born of the very thing to which all life eventually succumbs?
I'm welcoming name suggestions, since I'm in doubt I can adequately name such a thing myself. The crunch for the race is below.

I haven't found if Dark Ones tolerate or even encourage backstabbing and killing on the same organization level, ie two initiates.
Are godlings allowed?
Natural lycanthropes? If so, guess base animal should have CR of 2 or lower?
Creatures with hit dice?

Ok, I'm having a few difficulties with added spells. I can add any 3 divine spells and any 2 arcane. Given my Fervour Class ability, it makes sense to load up on self-buffing spells, anyone got any ideas?
My first thought was Mirror Image (arcane), but I get a weakened version through the trickery domain which would not then get used, so possibly improved invisibility and Dimension Door (unless anyone has got any better ideas).
Not sure about the divine, I'm not really used to making divine characters so I'm not sure what would work. Echolocation and lead blades spring to mind, anyone got any other suggestions?
NarcoticSqurl
So, what exactly are you trying to do with your gestalt? I'm very familiar with cleric spells, but I've never read the advanced class guide. Most cleric spells are battlefield tricks, that effect enemies based on certain circumstances. There's always the +4 stat boosting spells at 2nd level if you want a nice self buff. Or one of my favorite would be the inflict spells.
As for arcane, you'll find a bit more geared towards buffing yourself. Natural weapons, +1 bonuses, alter self, etc. it kinda just depends on what style you'd like to bring to the group.
Edit: The other two are spot on. My answer was meant for starting levels, but they are right when they say look at later levels.
Gavmania
OK, he is a Warpriest of Achaekek, the God of Assassins, so anything that enhances damage or infiltration would be flavorful. It's also something that he would likely be using for a long time. If it becomes obsolete because monsters regularly start getting easy ways to overcome it, then it's probably not a good investment.(So Invisibilty becomes obsolete at higher levels because many opponents get true sight, but may be worth investing in at lower levels and using until then).
Lead blades fits the bill, the +4 stat boosters become obsolete when stat items become available so probably not them (I get some anyway on my cleric list. Unfortunately not cats grace).
I thought about unholy sword but it doesn't stack with sacred weapon or lead blades, so no go.
Paragon Surge is another one I thought of, the bonus to Dex is probably obsolete when I get it and the bonus to Int would not be much use to me but the extra feat might come in handy.
Heroism is worth considering as a second level spell (+2 to saves as a swift action, sweet).
I did think about Haste. To be fair though, I had forgotten that it is a second level spell for summoners so that too is a good choice (shame it would only affect me, but still worth it).
Alter self is a good utility/buff spell so may be worthwhile, but is it better than haste, heroism, or dimension door?
For that matter is there any divine spells from the cleric list that would duplicate any of the arcanes under discussion (or at least make an acceptable substitute). That might help narrow the list down a bit.
Gavmania
lol, this is my first try of one, so I couldn't say; but I've always wanted a mechanism like Fervour for my Gishes so I intend to try it out. Shame it's only for the Warpriest spells, but still.
I think a good gestalt would be Monk (uses Wis and Str, Full BAB on Flurries), especially with the Warpriest archetype that uses unarmed attack, but I am going with Slayer.
Gavmania
So, For Arcane Spells, I will take:
3rd: Dimension Door (there's nothing like it on the divine lists)
2nd: Haste (only usable for a short while before becoming obsolete, but it shines so brightly it's still worth it)
For the Divine, there is more competition, but I ended up with
1st: Lead Blades (still useful at higher levels as it stacks with e.g. Righteous Might)
2nd: Alter Self (all round utility)
Hunters eye (+20 on perception. useful against heavily stealthed enemies - likely a feature of the campaign)
5th: Stoneskin (it comes late and costs a bit but can be a life saver)

Hi Johnny Panic here
Been keeping an eye on this for a while but just could not come up with an idea that felt right, but now I have one I think will be fun.
Its a bit odd, as I want to use a Template + NPC class for a whole side of my.
Yes I know she COULD take other classes on that side but I like the idea of her being a Evil Noble, cunning and manipulative, She will not be much of a fighter.
Race Elf + Half-fiend template
LE
Then with her classes being
Gestalt Psion Telepath L3 Half-fiend template L1 NPC class Noble L2
So in fact she will have but one class, just Psion Psion Telepath.
This is her Alt in progress
NarcoticSqurl
I'm just listing out what has currently been submitted as final drafts (plus Johnny Panic's recent alias dot in). I'll be editing this with users who have dotted but not submitted, as well as organizing the list into the previously mentioned Hammer/Anvil/Hand list (hopefully organized well).
CURRENT SUBMISSIONS:
OmniChaos - Rileng Sulfasch (Male Tiefling Slayer/Investigator(Mastermind) 3)
Lord Foul II - Virgil Hass (Male Human Alchemist/Machinesmith 3(vivisectionist, trap breaker, chirchugen/mechanus greatwork))
Berenzen - Saif Al-Samad (Male Ophiduan Stalker/Soulknife 3)
HighonHolyWater - Alexander Torov (Male Human Sorcerer/Oracle 3)
Arrathion - #1 Mordren (Female Shadow Fey Rogue/Antipaladin 3)
#2 Moredren (Female Shadow Fey Sorcerer 1/Oracle 3/Antipaladin 2)
#3 Mordren (Female Shadow Fey Samurai/Inquisitor 3)
Rigor Rictus - Froth (Male Orc-Born Qliphoth Spawn Tiefling Bloodrager/Adept Godling 3)
Choant - Renza Fade (Male Fetchling Sorcerer 3/Rogue 1/Paladin 1/Paladin 2) Choant, is this supposed to be paladin AND anti paladin? Or did I miss something in your crunch?
NarcoticSqurl - Alexi VonShen (Male Oni-Spawn Tiefling Monk/Magus(Kensai) 3)
Gavmania - Lex Reicher (Male Samsaran Warpriest/Slayer(Vanguard) 3)
Johnny Panic - Lady Zanra Zamean (Female Elf Half-Fiend Psion Telepath 3/Noble 2) *still in progress*

Hey Jonny
Just a note, the noble NPC class is called the "aristocrat"
Though I would like to point out it is the second weakest of even the NPC classes
Heck even courtesan (high priced whore) gets skill focus every three levels,
And adept gets a familiar
Just pointing out possibilities
Yep I agree but my idea is to have her of noble birth. Who's family lost everything to others plotting. The fact she was robbed of her Noble/aristocrat wealth, that fact she only had a title when she started on her road back to wealth and power. Its that cold noble range and anger that drives her in her underworld dealings. She is known for being peculiarly viscus to revels. This is a woman who clawed her way back to Semi-respectability.
Lady Zanra Zamean
Yep Im popping he template on one side, with NPC Acristo to keep it level. then Telepth 3 on the other.
As she then gets all HD 1(D6+2) + 2(d8+2) she will not have a high HP but I think she will make up for that.
Skill points at (6+6+4+6+4+6) so 32 good for a telepath.
I am happy with her this way, she will be good with minds and getting others to trust her and do things. As you say Roll playing a good idea for a PC is better in my book.
Griff Earthminer
So this is Griff's back story. I took a few liberties with background setting, specifically 2 factions and the timeline. All of witch could be adjusted accordingly.
Of course Griff’s delusions changed when the Orc hordes assaulted his homeland. While he was on leave helping his father and brothers work a seemingly obscure and tertiary tunnel, Griff sensed that something was not right. The tunnel they were working on was far too close to the surface to yield any Ore of value. Then earthquakes began to shake the tunnel, instead of retreating into the safer reaches of the tunnels, Kord spurred his sons to work faster! Obediently Griff channeled the powers of Torag, turning his heavy pick hard as adamantine, and began to cut through the rock as if it were softer than mushroom. The moment light peaked out from behind the dirt, Kord Sounded a horn. Griff burst through the side of the mountain, the tunnel opening into sharp chilled air.
The sounds of battle could be heard from within the mountain range and quickly the battle itself overwhelmed the four dwarves. In only moments a platoon of Deep Iron Dwarves Flowed out of the tunnel down into the battlefield. Dwarven steel clashed against Orcish blood. Alas the Orcs began to swarm, without reinforcements of their own, the dwarves Retreated into the hole from whence they came. The orcs Cunningly countered, Pincering the second half of the Dwarven retreating force. Vastly outnumbered at this point The remaining dwarves surrendered. The elders were slaughtered and the young shackled into slavery.
Years went by, Griff in chains was forced into the labor camps. Toiling away turning big rocks into smaller rocks and felling the trees that once made his mountain home once beautiful. Time passed but Griff never forgot the look in his fathers eyes before an axe disconnected head from shoulders. Eventually the orc Campaign shifted from blitzkrieg to entrenchment. Seeing an opportunity, Griff led a Small disheveled group of slaves to revolt and escape into the mountains. Without the resources to pursue them, the orcs lost valuable slave labor that day.
When griff returned he was welcomed with open arms of his mother and his community. The years of constant saige had changed everything, xenophobia was rampant. After word spread of Giff’s return he was immediately conscripted into the Nalbrin. His training was rigorous but he made it through seemingly unscathed. His once boyish demeanor was boiled down into his now stoic grimace. He knows what he has to do now, what his future will look like. Pain. Blood. Triumph. Justice.

As Nyaa said, such Creative Layering is usually outlawed. If you read the Gestalt rules in a certain light, you could say that it is a legal strategy, since it says you get the better option of the two classes, and since one class's BAB is going up from it's previous level's BAB while the other's is not, your overall BAB should go up. However, most agree it is violating the spirit of the law, if not the letter, and suggest GM's ban the practice.
However, every game is different, and I actually first learned of the practice when playing in a PbP Gestalt game and the GM, of all people, had asked why I had not used such Creative Layering to maximize my build...
Edit: Another ubiquitous house rule that tends to enter into most games is that you can't use gestalt classes to raise any single ability of a character above what would be capable for a non-gestalt character of the same level. So, I couldn't for instance take 5 levels of Fighter, 5 Levels of Wizard, then 7 levels of Eldritch Knight and 7 more levels of Wizard to have a level 12 character with BAB 12 and the Spell Knowledge and Caster Level of a Level 19 Wizard.
Basically, you only get the best of each class, so regardless of whether both classes are advancing your spellcasting, you only advance it once, because the feature duplicates, and does not stack.
Second Edit: I'll note that in Choant's case this is a further grey area though because he is not layering two like classes, but a full and 3/4 BAB class on one side, in opposition to a 1/2 BAB class on the other. The usual objection regards layering two like classes, such as in Nyaa's "wizard20|fighter1/sorcerer19 with full BAB." example. What Choant has done isn't as exploitative of the rules, necessarily.

This is GenThunderfist's submission. I dotted in the way back near the beginning, but had RL come up with work and family so I hadn't had a moment to post on this lately or sit down and work out my character.
I still need to work out a backstory however this is at least the crunch. As far as an Assassin goes he's a little on the flashy side, using his Electricity to great effect. Also I wrote Neutral Evil...although I might change that still. I'm trying to decide on where he might fall on the spectrum.
NarcoticSqurl
Well, he does have some time to up his stats. Plus there's always magic items and such. BUT, if he's going for a more assassin type, I can see why he made his dex so high.
Edit: Though I am confused how your Arcane Pool is so high. My submission, Alexi VonShen has magus 3, and Int of 16. So 3 divided by half is 1.5 (round up) to 2 plus 3 for int mod = 5.
So by that math your pool should be magus 3 divided in half of 1.5 (rounded up) 2, plus int 14 (bonus 2), 2+2=4.

Sorry to be the one to point it out, but Numbers are also unfortunately always rounded down unless otherwise specified (such as with the "Minimum: 1" notation).
As the magus gets points equal to half their Magus level, the would receive a new point on each even level. So unfortunately, you should each only have 1 point from your Magus levels at present.
Rounding
Occasionally the rules ask you to round a result or value. Unless otherwise stated, always round down. For example, if you are asked to take half of 7, the result would be 3.
BigP4nda
Okay I'm a little bit confused, are you recruiting now? or is this still an interest check? I am very interested and if you are allowing gestalt, I would like to play an Inquisitor/Fighter|Ranger|Slayer (haven't yet decided the second half)
He is a NE Dragonslayer (or will be) and is a bloodthirsty assassin as well. I have the general idea knocked out just need to work on background and details as well as his actual stats
