quick rules questions tough with that training will taliesin be able to advance in magus when the time comes ?


Eldritch Knight is right Taliesin, though he is an old one.
You will be able to advance into magus when the time comes.

well unless they brought ladder or grappling hook and rope we will be find.

Even if they did bring such things well the wall they have to climb still give a big advantage to the defenders.

A shortbow with 11 arrows--take back to Hearthem, or let a party member use
3 Studded Leather armor--take back to Hearthem and sell or let the guard have
A cloak on the archer--I cast detect magic...magic = we keep, non=sell or donate
2 masterwork light maces--David will keep one baring anyone else btter suited for combat needs it.
3 bottles of a strong liquor with a lable that says: Horse's Head from Steadwick, it might be worth around 25 gp per bottle--sell or drink at the Hearthem bar as a Hooray!

What should an inquisitor's attitude be. I am picking up some prejudice from Midway is it his issue the issue of the local church or of all good faiths.


Well arcane casters are rare in this corner of Erathia, so it's both Midway and the town's belief/prejudice, think of arcane casters as herbalists in medieval times. People know they exst and when to call on them for help, but want to have as little to do with them as possible.

In central Erathia, wizards/sorcerers and such are more commonplace and will take on more important roles.
So the attitude of an inquisitor would in your case be to root out evil, prejudice isn't necessarily evil, it depends mostly on your own view.


I was just trying to figure out if I need to burn him at the stake ;)

Elenzar is scant broke at this point. If we make it back to town alive. How covered in filth, maggot and gore are we? Would it be out of line to request some fresh clothes and a bath for our efforts, the wagoneers included?


Yes you could get both when you return to Heartham, as I understand this is a grisly and filthy task.


I'm hoping to see more posts than just those from Taliesin after one day. I am waiting with new posts to give you guys more time, so if posting is a bit slow to you, please post more :)

Sorry I have been Holiday busy. Hosted a dozen family for Thanksgiving. Which means we have been cleaning the house for two weeks.


Yea I understand, all my games at Paizo are a little slow now due to Thanksgiving.

So your choice of mssions is this:
1. Go north and look for a safe haven, or at least a safer haven, for refugees from Heartham should the city fall and fr other refugees to seek shelter in.

2. Go east, look for survivors amongst the probably sacked villages there, scout out the troubles and report back to Midway.

3. Go south, into enemy territory or occupied friendly territory, search for signs of the goblin leader and kill him, ease the pressure the goblins have on Heartham.

(4)[Go west, dangerous territory, with orcs and wolf riders besides the usual goblins, clear a path towards Tidewater and a safer city.](This is an option, though anything you want to do is open to you, let me know what you want]

For taliesin there is only one option.

Heartham has to stand in order to prevent to many warbands to spill in the region behind the city.

All the surrounding villages have been warn to move into the bigger cities by Lord Midway's scouts.

So he will go with:

Go south, into enemy territory or occupied friendly territory, search for signs of the goblin leader and kill him, ease the pressure the goblins have on Heartham.

David is slightly torn between 2 & 3...2 because he would want to helps others and 3 cause he would want to try and prevent what happened to him to there's if possible.

Nathaniel would likely opt for number 3, stopping the leader is often a good demoralizing thing for the opponent. It would disrupt the (at least short term?) functioning of their troops likely.

especially if that leader if the one providing tactics and strategy for the goblins..

Whatever you all choose is fine with me. Forfax is angry and grieving, his family only had 3 members so if they were hit hard he doesn't see much hope that either of his parents survived. So he probably won't talk much for awhile and follow everyone else blindly, but if he sees a goblin he will attack it with a ferocity not seen in him till this point.

Elenzar will go south with you, though he finds the openness to what we are being asked uncomfortable.


Actually Nathaniel I would have allowed you to do a 5-ft roll away and a move action to stand up, it would have put you out of melee range of course, but you wouldn't have gotten attacked.

Is everyone in agreement on going to Olkirk, as I've only heard from Taliesin.


Sorry for the inactivity, my pc has broken down tuesday morning and this is the first day I have access to a pc with internet that I have the time and privacy to hang out on the forums.

I had actually hoped to get in a message or that someone could post for me excusing me for the time being.

New pc is on the way but it has taken/will take a few days for it to come into the shop. I'll be able to make a few posts during the daytime, but in the evening I'll probably not be able to post.
