After about twenty minutes of testing in the medical databed, the staff conclude that Fei is going to be alright - his phenomenal natural healing rate seems to have not been affected by the accident, and it gets him back on his feet in short order. One of the nurses brings him his set of scrubs so he has something to wear besides the robe ;)
After getting dressed, the young monk pulls open the curtain and steps out, briefly and carefully stretching each limb. He then carefully folds up the robe, and walks over to Vai and her parents, bowing respectfully.
"Sabumnim Sunwake is...alright?" he asks quietly, not wanting to wake her from her rest.
Tam nods and smiles.
"She's fine, Fei. And thank you for doing what you did with my wife - you saved more lives than you may realize," he says gratefully.
