I wanted to get the drawings done for the one year anniversary of the game starting, but alas, real-life demands made that impossible. Now I'm just trying to get them done as soon as possible. Only two more to go.

Snag #1 : New computer has no software for scanning. Downloading a free version of ABBYY now. Each version has been slightly less useful for scanning images than the one before since most people would just use photoshop....I really wish I could afford to buy photoshop. ; ;
So now I'm just hoping that this stupid thing actually works.

I can't even tell you how awesome that would be. I've been saving for two months and I'm still only a quarter of the way there. Trying to pay off debt means not a lot of extra spending money left every month. The real funny thing is the debt collection agency we're trying to deal with to pay off an debt from more than ten years ago is making it very difficult to actually pay them....it is so beyond messed up.
After one debt collection agency asked for my social after I asked which person they were looking, now I just hang up on them. My father and I have the same name and most of the time letters do not have Jr or III on it just our name so got to ask which one they mean. Guy said well give us your social than, I went no.
It's elements 8... I MAY not work, but it might. If you want to use it, I'll PM you the serial number. You'll have to get the software itself from somewhere though.

So, how many Champions are there, and of what Patrons? I only know of Jim of course, Ephebe, Krays, Vai, Alton, Enre.... and that's all I can think of, but I'm fairly certain there are more.

Let's see....Madness, who is currently without a Champion, Time, Death, Creation, Destruction who can't exist in one singular form and therefore has no Champion, Darkness, Light, Love, Hope, Fear (oops, forgot him in the list...I forget the name of his Champion...starts with a Y?), Courage, Deception, Knowledge, Wrath, and there used to be Balance, but he was destroyed.

I think the way you want to think about it is like this: I can imagine there are quite a few patrons that haven't even been mentioned yet. There are alot of primeval forces. If there's a patron called Death, Life also should be a patron. If Love is a patron, Hatred is probably a patron, and so on.

Maybe we should also put the outline for Champion abilities in Campaign Info as well, so it's easy to get to.
I've been gathering the disparate notes on that through the thread in my vain attempt to flesh out Courage. Here's what I've got as of today:
CHAMPION OUTLINE
There are a couple of abilities that all Champions have in common. One is the ability to travel to anywhere regardless of wards or anything. So anywhere within Agartha or outside of Agartha or on another plane (though prime material planes are the easiest). Basically they can go anywhere that their concept exists, but they can't take passengers.
The second is that the special powers of other Champions can only effect them if they choose to allow it. So they aren't affected by Madness's insanity attacks unless they want to be. Another example would be Ephebe's ability to turn back one minute of time. The other champions could choose whether to allow this to effect them or not and if not much like Ephebe would remember what happened during that minute and any conditions, spell effects, injuries gained during that minute would still be in effect. This only applies to the one or two special concept related abilities, not class features. In other words it does apply to turning back time but not to a cure spell because the latter is a class feature not a Champion's special ability.
Each Champion has one or two special powers that are specific to their concept. This is often (but not always) related to the special object that is the symbol of their station. (Examples include Ephebe's holy symbol, Krays's scythe, Asch's coat, Amada's amulet...each Champion should have something like that).
Each Champion should have the following powers that are unique to their patron's concept:
- One ability that's stronger than you could normally achieve (equivalent to a 9th lvl spell - excluding wish) usable once a day;
- One or two medium abilities usable a few times a day;
- A couple of minor abilities usable at will.

Was easy for Enre, just made his sword the symbol.
I was actually thinking that Light may have changed the necklace Vai had made so instead of a sapphire, it had a diamond in it.
I think Jim is kinda a special case, as the Champion of Creation. I think anything he makes could be his 'item'.
Diamonds naturally have a high internal reflection angle, so they trap light until it can be released. Also, they make awesome prisms for laser pointers. If you ever get the chance, out a diamond/ cubic zirconium on op of a low-power laser pointer, and turn it on. The effects are impressive, IMO.

That is kinda what diamonds do, yes :P
Generally they are cut to reflect white light out the top, but they can just as easily be cut to act like a prism.
