THE REFUGE OF TIME Core (Inactive)

Game Master Helikon

In the ruins of a fallen empire built on the power of sin lies the key to awakening a great evil from a time long gone. The Pathfinder Society isn't the only organization seeking this potent artifact, however, and the result of failure could mean disaster for the whole of Varisia and beyond.

Lasaraleen breathes a sigh of relief as the sinspawn drops.

Strong work, Doodle!

She looks up at the wizard, knowing her arsenal of fire bolts and burning hands will likely be ineffective.

She steps forward, ignoring the minor acid burning her for the moment.

FALL! she commands (as per spell) at the wizard above

And this time the wizard fails his safe.
--------------------------------------------------
Wrapping this up.
Forced to come down and almost out of spells, you finally manage to kill the wizard.
You find on the wizard a letter, a correspondence from another of the wizard's Lissalan allies, who informs him that the ally's followers have discovered the location of Krune's runic archive and will soon have the keywords to activate the refuge tokens.
As you come closer to the statue in the corner you are imbued with comprehend language and a magic mouth activates. It tells you to "Prostrate yourself and mark your flesh in honor of the Lady of Runes.
Your service will be rewarded."

Trying his luck Doodle tries to strike himself close to the statue and a refuge token appears. Trying it again you get a total of 25 of those tokens.
You also find an ocher rhomboid ioun stone apart from other things on the wizard.
Having mastered the refugee of time you escort the shoanti and other hijacked victims back to Magnimar.
Venture-Captain Heidmarch congratulates them on a job well done, and promises to keep them abreast of the Society plans regarding the Lissalan cultists, and to keep them in mind for future missions to thwart their sinister plan.
