Haha no, no Taking the wife out before she has the baby in June. I was in Corpus Christi over spring break and about had a heart attack from driving through the crazy crowd of people.

did it? I haven't seen the book yet. Was going to wait until the 28th to purchase the book. As far as I know you can keep all the original classes the way they are or you can retrain for free. The only one they are forcing change on is the summoner I believe.

What's the level range on this chronicle?
EDIT - I've found this - level 5-7
Also, I'm sure I've asked this before, but should the Day Job roll be Aishe's or the intended recipient's?
EDIT - never mind, no Day Job checks for sanctioned AP chronicles.

Leveled-up and ready to rock & roll :-)
Also, with the Melee Tactics Toolbox out, for anyone that is melee-based, I cannot more strongly recommend the feat 'Aquatic Combatant' - the ability to *not* take a penalty on melee attack rolls, and to *not* halve your damage (with slashing or bludgeoning weapons) underwater is pretty sweet :-D

Also, as far as I can tell, none of the loot from the sahuagin lair has been added to the loot page...?
EDIT: Now that we have leveled-up, don't forget to try and identify the items that we have found - we still have the rapier and headband from before, as well!

Charles Beecroft

I don't follow - your level 7 feat can be anything you want, as far as I am aware, and unarmed strikes deal bludgeoning damage, which would normally be halved underwater (unless you have a swim speed, or Freedom of Movement)?

GM Tyranius

Yea I love that about Brawlers. Though I find myself making a list of possible situation feats to keep beside my character sheet hehe

Okay, we should probably have a discussion about what we want to keep, and what we want to sell, especially since our GM has kindly told us that the difficulty level will ramp-up starting with this book.
Consequently, I may actually want to have more than just my starting equipment ;-)

Viviana Masters

IDK, key things for me are prolly the standard AoMF / Belt / Cloak. Aishe prolly wants the headband, since the Charisma boost works nicely for her, and I'm assuming that Jack / Charles all want various weapon / armor upgrades as well.

GM Tyranius

You guys can split up Somia's gear.

It gives a swim speed which will allow you to be able to charge underwater.

Charles Beecroft

            Helm of Underwater Action
Aura faint transmutation; CL 5th
Slot head; Price 24,000 gp; Weight 3 lbs.
Description
The wearer of this helmet can see underwater. Drawing the small lenses in compartments on either side into position before the wearer's eyes activates the visual properties of the helm, allowing her to see five times farther than water and light conditions would allow for normal human vision. (Weeds, obstructions, and the like block vision in the usual manner.) If the command word is spoken, the helm of underwater action gives the wearer a 30-foot swim speed and creates a globe of air around the wearer's head and maintains it until the command word is spoken again, enabling her to breathe freely.
So basically, it is a pretty sweet item :-)

Aishe Kaleja

Okay, updated the plunder sheet with the identified items.
As far as distribution, Aishe wouldn't turn down the headband, but Charles is also Charisma-based. As he has been turning down gear up to this point, I would like to give him first crack at it.
There's also an Amulet of Natural Armor +2 that's just sitting around; it could serve as an upgrade for Viviana or Aishe (freeing an Amulet of Natural Armor +1 for Jack or Charles), or it could go to Jack or Charles. As far as need goes, I'd lean towards Aishe taking it - she's AC 16, vs. Viviana's AC 17 and Jack/Charles AC 18 - but she's already got quite a lot.
There's a Cloak of Resistance +1, too, that should probably get used rather than just collect dust.

@Aishe: Thanks for updating the sheet :-)
Don't forget that we are splitting Somia's equipment - she had a number of 'loot' items (such as the the Bracers of Armor +1, Ring of Swimming, and Vindictive Harpoon) that are definitely worth keeping, or at the very least, selling.
----
I was actually fairly tempted to see how far I could go with 'just' my starting equipment, but with the GM warning that difficulty will ramp-up from now on, I decided that I did not want to push my luck ;-)
That said, if other people actually want to use the equipment, feel free to take whatever you want - I *was* the most recent person to join the party, so via pirate logic, that should mean that I get *last* pickings when it comes to the loot ;-)

Okay, now, just because I have not seen anyone else do this:
Items to Keep:
Amulet of Natural Armor +2
Arrows, +1 Humanoid (Elf) Bane x3 - JACK
Arrows, +1 Humanoid (Human) Bane x1 - JACK
Arrows, +1 Humanoid (Merfolk) Bane x3 - JACK
Cloak of Resistance +1
Headband of Alluring Charisma +2
Oil of Bless Weapon x6
Potion of Blur
Potion of Cure Light Wounds x10
Potion of Cure Moderate Wounds x9
Potion of Invisibility x1
Potion of Water Breathing x9
Svingli's Eye (Magical Astrolabe)
Wand of Cure Moderate Wounds (11 charges)
Wand of Web (37 charges)
Wand of Produce Flame (41 charges)
Shackles of Compliance - JACK
Ring of Swimming
Zul - CHARLES
Helm of Underwater Action - VIVIANA
Selling everything else (including the items we acquire from Somia), nets us a total of 9828.55 gp each.
I am happy to keep Zul for the moment, but reserve the right to upgrade later ;-)
All of the other items listed above should be claimed by someone, as they have high utility.
The wands should go to Aishe / Jack.
Potions should be split up between all of us.
I will happily claim more loot if others don't, but I would prefer for other people to claim some of the bolded treasure above, as well ;-)
Once we decide who is claiming what, I will post a list of purchases.

As the navigator Jack is interested in the Astrolab. Makes his life easier. Everyone 2 oils. Jack is more ranged so I think the amulet cloak and Heaadband should go to someone else. The potions of heal we should split up evenly and the extra go to our frontliners. The potions of water breathing the same.

Alright then - list adjusted :-)
Also just realised that Web and Produce Flame are actually not on the spell lists of anyone in the party; consequently, we might as well sell those, and let Jack have the Wand of CMW.

Items Available:
Amulet of Natural Armor +2 - Aishe?
Cloak of Resistance +1
Headband of Alluring Charisma +2 - Aishe?
Ring of Swimming - Charles?
---------------------
I am happy for Aishe to take the Amulet and the Headband (I'll take the next one we come across - it would be nice to eventually get higher level spell slots).
*Someone* should claim the cloak (I will if no-one else does, purely because it should be used).
Selling everything else (including the items we acquire from Somia), nets us a total of 10321.68 gp each.

Aishe will take the headband and the amulet, putting her own amulet back into the available loot.
I'll update the loot spreadsheet soon, but I'm currently at work, so it'll have to wait.

Okay, first off, I'd like to apologize to everyone for being so slack about keeping up with the spreadsheet. That said, I have updated it with all of the equipment decisions made above.
I have also added a tab for items we'll be leaving with the Fortune. I have included the Astrolabe, Farglass, Hammock, and Grapple. I could also put the Shackles there, if you feel that's appropriate.
Do we have any takers for the following items?
- Brine's Sting (Magical Rapier)
- Morningstar +1
- Oil of Magic Weapon
- Ring of Animal Friendship
- Trident +1
- Vindictive Harpoon
If we sold everything that is not currently spoken for (at 50% of its market value), including these items, we'd have a total 29,283GP 9SP, enough for approximately 7,321GP each. We could potentially also sell some plunder for some additional amount, if need be.

Looks good - Two things I note:
1) School Understanding gives you *one* ability that a 1st level conjuror would gain, so 'Summoner's Charm' *or* 'Shift', and if you pick Shift, it uses Charisma instead of Intelligence to determine the number of times per day it can be used (so 4, not 8).
2) Just checking: Are you aware of the errata for the ACG? (The particular one that affects you is that 'Consume Spells' can only be used a number of times per day equal to your Charisma modifier.)
I was caught-out by it with one of my PFS characters, and had to rebuild him :-/

Yeah, I'm aware. I don't think its a huge deal though, since I'm mostly just casting spells as if I was a Sorcerer. If it becomes a problem, I'll invest in an Intelligence/Charisma headband, but atm, its hard to push my CHA to 14 without dumping Wisdom or Constitution and thats prolly going to have a negative effect on her survivability.
The real errata I got worried about was the one hitting Aasimar Oracles hard, and the one nerfing the Sacred Fist Warpriest into the ground. On the other hand, paizo ended up breaking the Scared Witch Doctor archetype in half while attempting to "fix" it - the archetypes even stronger than before now.
About the School thing, its a HeroLab output error till they get around fixing it, dont worry about it. Worth noting that I can get both abilities if I burn a point although I don't plan on doing that often, if at all.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Actually though, that brings up a good point, I can take the School Savant archetype, and trade in Spell Focus and Greater Spell Focus for extra arcanist exploit, and get full arcane school progression for no real net loss. Hmm, I might do this, the only issue is picking two opposition schools is a bit of a bummer since I kinda want access to everything bar Divination. Hmm, maybe I could miss out on Abjuration as well.
