Suddenly, crusted snow bursts and many-legged furry shapes scramble at you, their eyes glowing red. You need a moment to realize that you are surrounded by large number of white spiders, the size of dogs. They seem unable to weave webs, but their mandibles drip with what must be some kind of poison.
You notice that all the spiders move with mechanical precision and unity, almost as if they are all parts of the same organism.
You are obviously attacked. :) Spiders will act last. You may act whenever you get the time to post.

Heichi Kitao |

Kitao is surprise at so much magic being displayed "Do the gaijin shugenja are also sword fighters like the Warrior Priest and duel as such?" he begins to wonder himself of the capabilities of the gaijin doing magic while he is now relegated as a bodyguard or what is his job now them "damned gaijin, have no formal rules or etiquette"

Tik'Klik |

Tik'Klik immediately points his hollow arm at the largest of the spiders, and a dull 'whump' sound issues as a ball of buzzing energy emerges from the arm.
Ranged Touch: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Force Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 1

Marcus of Torm |

Marcus blinks in surprise at both the synchronized spider swarm's entrance and Heichi's peculiar outburst. No formal rules or etiquette... Wait what? Oh never mind...
"Were these summoned?", Marcus leaves the question hanging in the air, shrugs and unsheathes his huge greatsword with an economy of motion that speaks volumes about practice. He selects a foe and charges in, swinging the sword in a lateral arc.
If there's a clear charge lane that won't draw AOO's, Marcus will charge for +2 to hit -2 ac.
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Damage: 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (4, 1) + 3 = 8

Anwyn Elghreah Larerthane |

Anwyn, though shivering and near exhaustion due to the bitter cold, is still well served by her reflexes and reacts as a trained warrior. She pulls out a wicked spiked chain, of an unusual design somewhat primitive by the looks of it.
She glances around her and sees the others reacting to the threat. Instead of advancing towards one of the arctic spiders, she waits for one of them to advance on her, slipping into a deadly warrior stance. Her barbed chain lashes out at it...
Attack Spiked Chain: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7; Damage: 2d4 + 1 ⇒ (1, 3) + 1 = 5
...yet her footing betrayed her as she stumbled slightly which threw off her attack. Her only response is a muttered curse.

Raven Snowborn |

Raven wheels around, looking at his companions. Seing that the drow-like lady does not find her bearings, he moves by her, gripping his blade two handed and slashes at the spider closest to her.
2H sword attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23,
Edit Crit Threat automatic confirmation total crit damage: 2d10 + 12 ⇒ (2, 2) + 12 = 16

Crusader Kelagh |

Kelagh takes a moment to remember all she can of the creatures. Steps up and chops down at the spider snowmutt.
Knowledge (nature) 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7, Scimitar attack 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16, damage 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
With sound footing, her blow would have fallen true, however this snow does not help.

Kitao's mouth opens as well as his eyes when he finally realizes that what he sees are some sort of Kansen that has taken form of spider and are hungry for their warmth "kansen!"
Kitao charges against the spiders.
Katana 1d20+6
Damage 1d8+2
AC 20 (-2 Charge)
Kitao's blade strikes true, but the spiders have tough hide it seems and katana just bounces back without inflicting any damage - although the spider is staggered a bit.

Paladin's charge gave him enough power to cleave a spider in two. Bluish slime bursts from the severed trunk and hairy legs continue to twitch while the both halves of the body shake from uncontrollable spasms.

Raven's black blade almost gleefully cuts through the spider, killing it instantly. For a moment to Raven's eyes it seemed that his sword emitted an invisible pulse, more felt through the air than seen. But he must have been mistaken...

Knowledge (nature) 1d20+5, Scimitar attack 1d20+2, damage 1d6+2
With sound footing, her blow would have fallen true, however this snow does not help.
Kelagh manages to hit the spider - just barely - and she injures it severely, although it can still move.

Each of you is attacked by one remaining spider. You don't know if there are more of them under the snow, though.
The spiders continue with their attack, although two are slain and one grievously injured. Their movements still seem mechanical and they attack as one.
One attack and damage roll, applied to all spiders.
Spiders: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 161d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Tik'Klik |

"Tik'Klik! Tik Tik Ik Klik!" The small golem seems rather put out with the spider that attack it. It adjusts five foot back, and another WUMP is heard.
Ranged Touch: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 4
And again the ball of force sails past the spider, producing a string of clicking sounds from the golem.
Oh joy, another game where the dice bot plans on making my character look like an escapee from the Keystone Kops.

Marcus of Torm |

No sooner than Marcus despatches one oversized Spider, another comes boiling out of the snow behind him and bites his calf under the sabaton. Marcus grunts in a mixture of pain and surprise. Biting back an oath he narrows his eyes, and brings his sword down vertically in a two handed strike skewering the spider!
A quick to twist to make sure its dead and he then looks to see if anyone else needs aid and moves to flank if possible.
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
Damage: 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (5, 2) + 3 = 10

Crusader Kelagh |

The crusader Kelagh waits for the beast to rear up and bite out again. Her scimitar curves in towards the mouth.

...and appears dripping blood and juice out behind. Then she moves to help one of the others nearby, Faerin if likely.

Anwyn Elghreah Larerthane |

Anwyn easily dodges the spider's fangs and steps back from the spider, trying to maintain a steady footing in the treacherous snow. She sees Marcus looking to assist and waves the gallant warrior over to help her. Her chain lashes out at the spider...
Attack Spiked Chain: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13; Damage: 2d4 + 1 ⇒ (4, 1) + 1 = 6

With two quick strikes Faerin dispatches two strange spider-creatures.
At the same time, Tik misses again, but the paladin of Torm manages to slay a spider. Kelagh simply slaughters the spider that attacked her, while the others miss their targets. Remaining spiders suddenly turn around and burrow through the snow, trying to disappear under the snow bank.
All of you who missed in this round have an AoO.

Tik'Klik |

"Tik'Klik?"
The golem nudges a spider with the flail sticking out of his arm, and jumps back.
"Tik'Klik?"
He does so again.
"Tik'Klik."
The golem kicks the spider out of the way with a satisfied nod, and begins walking on.

Anwyn Elghreah Larerthane |

Anwyn starts visibly as she sees the spiders collapse to the ground. Gingerly she kicks one of the corpses to confirm its demise, then glances around her uneasily. Noting some of the party appears to have been separated she looks for a familiar face. Seeing Faerin, she nods slowly as the others prepares to move out.

Marcus of Torm |

Breathing hard, Marcus sounds puzzled, "That's uh, I guess its good they're gone, I've never seen anything quite like that... Is anyone hurt? If not we should push on since frozen sweat will get you killed out here."

Tik'Klik |

"Tik'Klik?"
The construct looks over his arms, as if trying to find sweat.

Still breathing hard, Marcus has little time to notice anything beyond his aching limbs and the pain behind his leg.

Tik'Klik |

"Tik'Klik?" Tik'Klik stops, and bends down to closely examine one of the spiders. "Tik'Klik? Klik'ik'ik. Tik'ik... Tik'ik'klik..." The small golem's hand splits open, and dozens of sensitive small tools take the places of it's fingers, each moving individually in a dizzying array of motion. It begins picking and poking and prodding at the spider's remains with those tools.

Nice to know the dicebot still hates me after that 20, obviously a mistake. Tik'Klik will take 10 instead for an 18, since the dice bot obviously is out to get me again.

Marcus of Torm |

Marcus asks Raven, "Your golem seems to have found something, any idea what it is?"
Not trusting anything found on the spiders, he opens his senses to detects evil on the item.

The little golem tries to extract something from the spider's skull, but it slips from his tools and suddenly bursts in the flash of crimson energies. Luckily, no one was harmed.

Still winded from your fight, you suddenly hear a mournful howl. As you turn, you see a pale whitish-gray wolf in the distance. It seems slick of build and not overly large while it watches you with its eyes the color of warm gold. The moment is strangely eery and you realize that the wolf stands on top of the snow, not sinking in it.

Marcus of Torm |

Marcus looks puzzled and mutters, "I've heard of light footed but that woolf is positively floating on the snow. First synchronised spider swarms now this, something strange is a foot! But what now? I'm not sure it would be wise to pick another fight just yet."
