Shilak'ho has no day jobs. Too few skill points... :(
GM, I can record them myself if you prefer. Has to be in this chronicle 'cos the previous one was a GM credit one, so technically can't make any purchases. :) Have logged them into my tracking sheet anyway.
Not levelling up either.

profession sailor: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Malik and Dean are really bad at their job. Lol.

GM DevilDoc |

lol.. Yea, I don't think I would trust either of you.. certainly not an herbalist!!
"Dude.. that recipe calls for dandelion.. why did you put nightshade in there??"

![]() |

Insted of dayjob I'm working on my faction card.
dayjob a.k.a. work to reinforce my contacts: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
reroll with 2 stars: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 5 + 2 = 26
Also, next scenario I'm going to be sick all the time, trying to get over a curse I have. And I'm still healing 1 less per die.

![]() |

?? Ok.. How did that come about??
It's the fighting off corruption boon something evil an ancient should dwell in these lands, and it has affected me
Penalty: Reduce the amount of healing you receive from spells and effects by 1 per die.
Task: Spend an adventure fasting, eating only infrequently enough to stay alive. For the entire adventure, you have the sickened condition. Partway through the adventure at a time determined by the GM, you must attempt a DC 10 Constitution check or DC 20 Will save. If you succeed, you stave off hunger and the urge to eat. If you fail, you compulsively begin eating anything at hand, causing you to fail this task during this adventure.

![]() |

Of course.. all purchases marked on my end.

![]() |

Nah it's all good. Malik is just faking. He's an alchemist apprentice but uses his kineticist thingamajigs for healing. It's likely they chewed on grass mixed with cow manure for show.

Time to invest into a nice banquet, folks. ^_^

GM DevilDoc |

nope. Working on those right now, actually. I just wanted to catch up on all of my games and get one good post in on all of them for the day.
EDIT:: HERE you go!. As always, please let me know if anything needs to be changed or if you have any concerns.

Shilka'ho is from The Exchange, but it is recorded as Sovereign Court in the sheet. If you're ok, I can amend it myself. I've checked as his faction is reported correctly, so just the chronicle sheet.

GM DevilDoc |

I'm sorry about that. I will get you out a new sheet. That won't be a problem.. it will just have to wait until tonight..

![]() |

Sorry I'll be traveling til Sunday so posting likely to slow down. Please bot Shilak. Hell basically just keep striking with his 7 branch sword. If he gets to full round attack, he'll use flurry of blows.

GM DevilDoc |

Shilak: No problem. Thanks for the heads up! Be safe and have fun!
@Malik: I try.. its in the small things, right?
I have another table where a character summoned a beetle.. not a single soul at the table commented on the fact that I used a picture of Herbie the Love Bug as the icon. I was pretty disappointed.

Updated Dean's stats... He is level 3 now, I'm only missing one thing on my character sheet, have not decided what feat to take...

GM DevilDoc |

Unfortunately, my computer decided that it didn't want to work today, and is sitting at the repair shop. Hopefully tomorrow I will be back and rolling!

The rulings for fighting tiny creatures are pretty nebulous and very much argued. From what I have been able to find, a tiny creature does not get cover or concealment by being in someone elses square. That's pretty straight forward and easy.
Flanking is completely different. There is quite a bit of discussion on this, but no official ruling that I have been able to find. Should someone have one, let me know!
Personally, I do not believe that the creature can be flanked. Although it can technically be caught between the individual it is attacking and a second individual, I don't think that it attacking a creature should automatically open it to an attack from someone else. It is free to move about in the occupied square, and does not lose any dex bonus etc, so I don't think it should be considered "flatfooted".
From the reverse side, if a bee or wasp was buzzing the friend next to you, and you were trying to kill it, you would be just as concerned about not hitting your friend as you are about hitting it.. thereby limiting your attack but not the bee or wasps mobility.
Anyway, just my two cents. Any other opinions from yall?

GM DevilDoc |

See what I mean about very much argued?? The sheer amount of posts asking for clarification about tiny creatures should be enough to warrant an entire book on how they relate to rules not written with them in mind!!
As for the partial cover, I have seen some threads for and against. In this instance and without official Paizo rulings, I am going to keep my no cover ruling.

When it comes to rules that aren't clear RAW, I just go with the does that make sense in real life and apply that! So I have no issues following GMs interpretation

GM DevilDoc |

I apologize for my sudden absence. I have been extremely sick and had to be admitted to the hospital Monday. I got home this afternoon, so I should be back to a normal posting schedule. Thank you for your patience! Update will be coming soon.

![]() |

Take your time! Not in any rush. Your health is more important! Get well soon..

![]() |

Sorry for being absent.
My two kids, my wife and myself were ill; coughs, high temperature and without strength to do nothing besides take care of the kids.
Now I’m going to catch up with the game, if you see that I miss something, please it to tell me.

GM DevilDoc |

I would like to wish all of you a happy holiday season, no matter what path you have chosen to walk. Enjoy the family time and best wishes for all!

![]() |

Thanks all, especially to the GM, for the great gaming experience! Had a lot of fun in this one.

GM DevilDoc |

I almost forgot.. Could you all please roll your Dayjobs? Kinda hard to finish the chronicles without those!!
My pleasure Dean. I appreciate yalls efforts and help. Thank yall for stepping up and teaching me when I needed it, and for keeping me on track!

I was told there would be a dragon hatchery. WHERE IS MY DRAGON HATCHERY?
Prof: Herbalist: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Thank you very much! You're all awesome people, and I look forward to playing with you again.

![]() |

No profession for me...
It was fun, thank you for running.

![]() |

No day job for Shilak.
Thanks for the running the game, GM! And thanks to everyone else for this journey! It was a blast!

![]() |

As dayjob Guinfa wants to convince Chief Hiryla to work with the Sovereign court: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11
portfolio reroll, 2 stars: 1d20 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 9 + 2 = 26
If you don't mind, at the celebrating feast Guinfa will check his fighting off corruption boon, trying to not indulge in his urge to eat.
Constitution check: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
I enjoy this game, but what I really enjoyed has been the opportunity to play through a trilogy with so great people. Thanks GM Devildoc for making this possible.
Edit. The final boss hasn't been very anticlimatic to me, at low levels they doesn't usually resist a lot. And focus fire on the girl with the flaming axe looks fom far looks reasonable

GM DevilDoc |

Guinfa: I am so sorry I forgot about the Con/Will save. Thank you for putting that in. With a roll of 26, I don't think that should be a problem.. I don't know what the DC is, but that should make it regardless!
I will have chronicles up just as soon as Rolvark checks in with his dayjob check.
When you get a moment!! Once again, I would appreciate any feedback that you could provide for me!

GM DevilDoc |

Once again, Thank you to all of you. I appreciate the time and effort that you have all put into this game, and I thank you for everything that this game has allowed you to teach me. I hope that I get to play with all of you in the future!
Happy Gaming!
Please also take a moment to once again let me know how this game went for you by following the link in my last post. Yall have been great!!!
