Finn
Finn looks at the necklace, and then glances up at the ceiling thoughtfully.
After a moment, he says grudgingly: "I suppose we could try to bargain for a cure to Urol's condition. Although one could make an argument that he's safer now as-is than when he's running around the ship without regard to his own personal safety..."
Ardanto Valanto
Ardanto slumps down not too far from the defeated elf, "Phew," he sighs, "that was a work out".
After a few seconds he suddenly jerks to his feet, those close enough her him mutter "Cecil".
He staggers off through the chambers entrance to search for the skull where he was placed on a miniature buildings roof when the battle started.
Daurros Erdai
"Um ... let's not just ignore tall, rotted, and bony here, Ardanto. Just because he has seemingly given up, doesn't mean he won't take advantage of us if we let our guard down."
He looks back at Finn. "You're right, Urol did pay for passage to Farshore. How much? I'll be happy to refund the balance to him now."
Daurros Erdai
"As you said Finn, he paid for passage to Farshore. He did specify his condition. We'll take the stoned fool, and therefore he is entitled to no refund. His cure is his own business. Let's go." Daurros begins to walk out, and then stops. "You know, I have thought about it a bit, and this elf, although perhaps a 'deathless' and not undead, seems very similar to a lich. Perhaps it would be in our best interests to leave the necklace, after all. I am not certain what it is, and I do not want to take something that may be a phylactery."
If no one objects, Daurros will take the necklace and lay it on the ground in front of the undead elf. Those looking closely may even notice a brief tinge of pity flash across Daurros' face, replacing the usual greed.
Toxim ir' Kinain
Toxim turns to the the undead elf.
Keeper of Forbidden Lore
The elf watches Daurros place the necklace on the ground and simply looks at it as Toxim speaks. At last it looks at him with hollow eyes with pinpoints of light in their depths.
' It stares at the floor and they hieroglyphs written there."akal som tu sám za dlhšiu dobu, ako tvoj druh bol na tejto zemi. Sledoval som moji ;udia sa snažia drža&; túto krajinu a zlyhania. Díval som sa im utiec&; spä&7; cez more.
It looks at you and says "Nemôžem vám pomôc, ;o sa pýtaš je za mnou. "
Elvish
I have waited here alone for longer then your kind has been on this land. I have watched my people struggle to hold this land and fail. I watched them flee back across the sea. Now only I am here.. Once others roamed these ruins but they have left or ceased to be. I am the last
I can not help you, what you ask is beyond me.
Toxim ir' Kinain
I'll translate for the group or ask Karkalla to do so (everyone can read the spoiler).
[Elvish]"We apologize for what we did to your people's final resting place. We were callous in our actions and hasty in assuming that no one remained to lay claim to them. The items now lay at your feet to show our sincerity not only in our apology, but also in our desire to learn of this place and of your culture.
You said you are the last here. It is a horrible waste for you to not share the wisdom of your ancient culture with those who are alive today.
If you would like, as we journey, we can get word to other elves that you are here. Perhaps they will come and reinvigorate the area. I have no right to ask, but I beseech you to suspend your contemplations at least long enough to tell us of the city we saw represented in the other rooms. Don't let your knowledge be wasted in solitude and despair, Ancient One."[/elvish]

Guard
Seeing how things turn out, Guard let's down his defense, looking around the chambers they are in.
"Anybody ask him if it is okay to look into the rooms back there? Just looky, no touchy, okay?" he speaks to Karkalla and Toxim, pointing to the passage towards the south(?).
Where Thoven stood on the last map...
Ardanto Valanto
".....Just looky, no touchy, okay?"
Ardanto breaks out a brief smile, "you sound like one of my ex girlfriends, you remember her Daurros, Mrs 'I love you long time.'" before he flops down and starts removing bits of his armour so he can strap his wounds, grimacing as he does so. "I don't suppose he wants to come with us and find his relatives?" he asks Toxim, "he would be might handy in a fight."
I would make a Heal 'treat deadly wounds' roll, but the DC of 24 is beyond me.
I think my HPs are missing the last blow he landed on me?

I was death less long before Tamoachan was built. I saw it raise, fall and be forgotten. We lived in peace here for a while. Before the might of the Dhakaari empire became to much.
eleven thousand years ago, this was a colony a place for those that did not always agree with Aerenal.
This was Tamoachan
I was death less long before Tamoachan was built. I saw it raise, fall and be forgotten. We lived in peace here for a while. Before the might of the Dhakaari empire became to much.
Aerenal had little intrest in fighting the might of Dhakaari and little love for those that did not conform to its ideals. We where unable to hold back the might alone. A few of use stayed behind, to hinder the Dhakaari and allow the others to flee, most of use did not survive. The crypt there is the last of my family. The people of Tamoachan fled across the sea, what became of those that chose not to return to Aerenal is unknown to me. Perhaps they yet live on somewhere
Daurros Erdai
Daurros listens to Toxim's translation, and tries to see if he can recollect anything like what the elf is talking about.
knowledge (history) 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27
Again the look of pity crosses his face, and he says to Toxim, "Tell him we will leave, and take nothing else. The person we came here for is stone, so I see no reason to remain."
Keeper of Forbidden Lore
Daurros
While your elven history is rusty, they did settle the area your in, which is modern Valenar some 10'000 years ago. You do recall that this colony came to blow with the then Continent spanning Goblinoid empire of Dhakaani. So if this elf is telling the truth he has been here a very, very long time.
You also know that the Dhakaai empire lasted until some 6000 years ago when it fell apart in a war when the plan of xoriat touched the world and Aberrations are left overs of that apocalyptic conflict. It was long dust long before humans lead by Lhazaar landed on this continent some 4000 years ago.
You know nothing of any other elevn settlements although you do recall a brief note about an elevn fled sailing east toward Xen'drik about the time of this cites collapse. As far as you know, no elevn nation currently existences on Xen'drik other then the dark eleves and if what you heard is true it is unlikely an elevn fleet would have went back there or survived a war with the Drow if they did.
Toxim ir' Kinain
[elvish]"I hope that this is not rude, but you have not told us your name, or an honorific that we may address you by and make record of. My friend asks why do you stay? Why not leave this place for wherever your people left for?[/elvish]
Note that I will translate for the group so don't feel that you need to wait for me to answer any of the questions they pose.

"Honrou ancião era todos qualquer um chamou-me durante muito tempo e o que já nomeei eu uma vez tive tem pequeno querendo dizer agora. Permaneci dar lhes tempo então não podiam ser traçados. Mas saiba que eu simplesmente não tenho nenhum ideal onde ir. Tenho para milhares de anos procurou as estrelas para respostas. Permaneço na esperança vã de talvez um dia que alguém retornará, alguém terá necessidade de mim. " It sighs, what an odd an unsettling sound that is.
"A realidade é fui esquecido ou há simplesmente ninguém vir e achar mim.
Elvish
Honored elder was all anyone called me for a long time and what ever named I once had has little meaning now. I stayed to give them time so they could not be traced. But know I simply have no ideal where to go. I have for thousands of years searched the stars for answers . I stay in the vain hope of maybe one day someone shall return, someone shall have need of me.
The reality is I have been forgotten or there is simply no one to come and find me.
Guard
Right, Guard could, but wouldn't, if not asked for.
I wanted to know if it would be okay with him, if we went down further south, to explore a bit more of the building. Must have been overlooked.
By the way: did the elf take back that magic amulet?
Keeper of Forbidden Lore
Sorry didn't see ya ask, He does not mind I will describe the last one in this complex below. Also yes He is now holding the amulet in his hand.
The elf leads you into the last room, A yawning shaft descends into gloom here. The walls of the shaft are lined with hundreds of moldering Mummys and skeletons. Resting in prominent view is a golden clad mummy with a statue of a bate resting in it's arms.
"Aqui coloca os heróis de Tamoachan. Esses que permaneceram atrás de e lutado para esses que fugiram. Coloquei-os aqui. O Godling Camazotz lutou ao longo de lado nos nesses dias escuros. ' He says pointing toward the shaft.
"O último sacerdote/filho do Camazotz coloca aqui. Esquecido como o seu mais longe e esses que colocam aqui. Longo esquecido e pó por um mundo que moveu em. " He says mournfully.
Elvish
Camazotz's last priest/son lays here. Forgotten like his farther and those that lay here. Long forgotten and dust by a world that has moved on.

Guard
Thanking Toxim for the spell, Guard listenes to the elf, but don't speak much.
The warforged doesn't think that the elf will leave his place in the temple or whatever this once was, but he won't argue against having him come along, if someone would like to invite the elf.
If nothing else can be discovered he will turn around and go back. On the way out Guard will close the sarcophague if he can. The room with the wall of fire he crosses hastly and out in the jungle he helps carry or drag Urol back to the shore.
Daurros Erdai
"Hmm, all very interesting. Camazotz, a god of bats no longer in wide worship. Minor lord of Fernia or Lamania. As much as I'd love to investigate this place, the fact that we won't be gaining anything from it makes it a bit of a waste. Toxim, why don't you thank the Honored Elder for his tour, wish him farewell and good luck, apologize again for our intrusion, and we should resume our journey to Farshore. If someone wishes to bring the Urin ... I mean, Urol, statue, be my guest." With that, Daurros makes a long bow to the elf in a show of respect, offers his hand in a gesture of friendship, and then takes his leave after Guard.
Keeper of Forbidden Lore
The elf head comes up at Daurros words and he studies the mages face "Sabe de Camazotz? " He rasps " Tinha pensado que Conhecimento dele muito tempo perdeu a a vida" He lifts his and and the idol floats free of the dead and drifts to his hand. "Aqui tome este e sua bugiganga' He says holding both the amulet and the Idol to Daurros "Alguém que sabe de Camazotz deve pelotões de civis armados os e eles j$+eram esquecido suficientemente longo"
Elvish
I had thought Knowledge of him long lost to the living
Here take this and your trinket, Someone who knows of Camazotz should posses them and they have lain forgotten long enough
Toxim ir' Kinain
"Honored Elder, my companions and I are humbled by your gifts." Toxim translates for Daurros. "It is time for us to depart. Before we go, I must ask again if you can do anything for our other companion who has been turned to stone. Also, I was wondering what would become of you? If you would care to, you are welcome to come along with us as we journey on."
Keeper of Forbidden Lore
Shacking his head the elf reply "Tenho poucos poderes concedidos a mim, mas ajudar o seu amigo é aquele que não tem tanto como ajudar meu também estava fora do alcance' The elf stares off into the jungle as Finn waits impatiently to depart. He watches Guard lift the stoned Urol and sighs
"Que será de mim? que é uma pergunta que eu tenho me perguntado por milhares de anos. Eu me agarro à esperança de um dia fraco que o meu povo vai voltar. Que eles vão mim encontrar.'
With a saddness no living being could have in it's voice he says"É uma falsa esperança, eu sei, mas o que mais eu tenho?" As it turns to go back into the ruins that seem to have became it's prison
Elvish
What will become of me? that is a question I have asked myself for thousands of years. I cling to the faint hope that one day my people will return. That they will find me.
It is a false hope, I know but what else do I have?
Toxim ir' Kinain
[elvish]"With all due respect, Honored Elder, you lie. It is obvious that you cling to your despair rather than even a vain hope. You choose to stay here in this tomb as though it were a prison. Your prison has no walls, though, does it?
You said you wait for your kind to return, but you have been here for so long that even your kind has forgotten about you. Go out and let them see you. Give them cause to remember what it used to be like and rekindle in their hearts a desire to return to the greatness you remember. You may find that in the process you stop being death less and start living again.
I do not mean to overstep my boundaries, Honored Elder, but come with us and see the world as it is now. Travel the land on your own if you wish. You may not like it, but at least you will have grown for the experience."[elvish]
Ardanto Valanto
Said lots of cool stuff....
That was a very poetic and persuasive argument, if Ardanto understood a word of it he would be might impressed.
Ardanto watches the conversation swing back and forth and listens to the translations as best he can. As the group heads out, he makes a good sweep of all the chambers, trying to remember as much detail as he can to fill in for Urol, should he ever become flesh again. "You know Cecil, with all this magic, I am amazed that no one has made a way to make instant paintings, so you can capture a places beauty in an instant and carry it with you." he sighs, "now a magic trinket like that would be worth a fortune."
As they reach the jungle he stands a little behind Toxim, sure the conversation will soon becoming to an end one way or another and mildly hopeful that the undead elf might accompany them on their travels.
