Ya need to remind me your using it and on what as something ya said earlier in a pbp could be weeks ago and I most likely will not recall it to be honest. But no it would not have helped all that much the smoke was magic, but y'all kinda knew that all ready. No one did a perception check for traps on the entryway. So nope y'all did not see it.
Ardanto, Thoven, Karkalla and Guard back away from the heat into the tunnel they came from while Toxium, Daurros and Finn flee into the new tunnel away from the heat. Inside the room the wall of flame moves forward across the ruined cityscape
Karkalla
"........I'm about to try something incredibly stupid so wait here you guys" With that Karkalla begins to follow the moving wall keeping just far enough away to avoid being burnt by it she also trys to keep an eye out for a trigger or a way to turn it off
Perception (+1 for trap sence)
1d20 + 10 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 10 + 1 = 15
If she dosent find a switch she follows the firewall till the tunnel entrance and then jumps in
Keeper of Forbidden Lore
Karkalla trails safely behind the wall as it sweeps across the room, Daurros readies his scroll but in a few moments 2 rounds total it smashes into the far wall extinguishing itself. The heat starts to dissipates as the room in cast in darkness once more without the flames.
Trap seems done, now what?

Sorry guys been busy , updating now.
The party is headed toward the tunnel when the wall appears once more by the stairs. As you move deeper into the tunnel it once more starts it's track across the room, the group moves deeper into the tunnel to avoid the heat and comes across the room Toxim has found.
The walls of this room are covered with eroded glyphs and hieroglyphic images depicting what appear to be bat like creatures feasting on humanoids. The eastern wall beyond a low archway in the room consists of a strangely out of place sheet of iron.
Ardanto Valanto
"Ah, cobblers, will you look at that Cecil, if we had kept her talking for a few moments we would of been 10 gold up instead of 10 gold down." Ardanto comments sulking to the Skull as the wall of fire bursts into flames again.
Peering over many shoulders, Ardanto looks at the wall of iron and lets out a low whistle, "Hey Guard, how big an anvil would you need to make a sheet of iron that big?"
Daurros Erdai
After the folks check for traps, assuming none are found or if one is it is disabled, Daurros intones, "Hold, everyone, before we go making holes. A sheet of iron like this, in stone ruins? Something doesn't smell right. And I'm not talking about Ardanto's hygiene."
detect magic throughout the area
Knowledge (arcana) 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (20) + 13 = 33
Knowledge (dungeoneering) 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24
also, I suspect this might be appropriate here
Spellcraft 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (12) + 15 = 27
Daurros Erdai
"As I suspected. The wall radiates magic; this is most likely the result of a wall of iron spell. Since the iron that's created is just as susceptible to rust as regular iron, I would guess it hasn't been here that long or the humidity would have turned it into powder long ago.
"That also makes me think that someone put it there for a specific reason; to keep interlopers out, perhaps. Or perhaps to seal something in."
Ardanto Valanto
Something doesn't smell right. And I'm not talking about Ardanto's hygiene."
Ardanto pulls a worried face holds Cecil the jaw-less skull up to his armpit and whispers, "take a sniff, I don't pong do I?". After a pause he has Cecil shake his head slowly before turning the skulls socket gaze at Toxim. "yeah, I thought it was him as well," he whispers none to subtly.
Daurros Erdai
Daurros looks at Toxim and breaks a wide grin. "The wise thing, of course, is to turn back and go on our way. But I sure as hell didn't become an adventurer, come all this way, get turned to stone and soaked with basilisk blood, and almost get fried by a burning wall to turn tail and run at an iron wall. Let's break through."

Whats the plan? to beat the wall down? I hope so as thats what I am going with
With the group seeming to want to get though the wall Guard steps up with his hammer. Griping it in both hands he slams into the wall, with little effect. But the warforged keeps up his assault/ 'WHAM! WHAM! WHAM! the sounds booms though the ruins like a great anvil. The hammer slams into the iron and it slowly starts to crack before Guards blows.
It takes Guard three minutes to pound a whole though the Iron wall. A roughly 3 foot wide by four foot tall whole though the 2 inch thick wall. Light drifts inside showing a room beyond the wall. Guard hunches and passes though the hole to peer inside.
The chamber beyond the wall bears a strange resemblance to the previous one, in that the floor is covered by an ancient model of a stone city. However where the previous model was terribly damaged, this chamber seems relatively preserved. The layout and style of the city is also different, with four wide canals converging upon a large lake at the center, from which raises a great stone pyramid. Mighty temples raise from the low angular buildings, while the stone walls depict lifelike depictions of leering bats, lizards and snakes.
To the south a single step seems to lead deeper into the ruin.
The city scale makes most building come to your knees while the pyramid loos near four feet tall.

I am so very jealous of your perception. I have a half elf in another game like that. I wonder if the other players feel about me like I feel about you? Oh well, they can suck it. I wonder if you feel about me like I feel about them?
Yes. You are welcome to "suck it". :-) On the other hand, you're also welcome to buy a set of Eyes of the Eagle; they're fairly cheap and effective.
Ardanto Valanto
Guard moves away from the opening, letting the others look at it intently. Whispering he starts counting backwards, "10 ... 9 ... 8 ... "
Ardanto sidles up to peer through the hole, he stops an listens to Guard slowly counting down, "Hide and go seek?" he whispers questioningly.
