Daurros Erdai
Crap. I really need to reread the rulebook cover-to-cover again. The older I get, it seems the less info I retain the first time around.
Daurros curses as the dispel has no effect. "Dammit! I should have known that it wouldn't work! The wall is an instantaneous effect!"
Seeker, does the wall go all the way to the ceiling, or is there a space? How high is the ceiling, exactly?
Daurros Erdai
Thanks! Of course, from a strictly metagame perspective, I just realized that wall of iron is a 6th level spell - but that's arcane. If he's divine, it could be 7th level. Gulp!
Second question - does it look to Daurros like a grease spell might make it easier to topple/move the statue?
Daurros Erdai
It might but the stature is 10' tall and made smooth the the wall on one side. I Did use your grease spell however, which is how the elf got knocked down.
Yes, but I haven't used my bonded ring yet today; which would allow me to cast it again if I so choose. Just going over options.
Keeper of Forbidden Lore
Daurros seems at a lose what to do about the wall, Karkalla follows behinf Toxim with Daurros trailing them in a attempt to topple the stature as alone in the dark with the elf, Ardanto strikes out at the elf blindly but hits only empty air. Finn trys to slam though the wall but fails as Guard trys the same thing, having just as much luck. Thoven follows the others around the wall in time to see Karkalla Topple the statute, while it misses the elf it does seem to damage some of the wall a bit
As light floods the room Ardanto , Karkalla,Daurros, Toxim and Thoven see the bright light that flashes around the elf. They can see damage they have inflicted close and vanish. In an instant the dead elf stands undamaged before you. It gleams at you with a cold smile.
OK I made some rolls for Ardanto, he missed in the dark, also did not get an AoO for the elf's healing. I moved Thoven had guard try and bust though the wall and such.

"Get in there and hit it till it stops moving?" Karkalla suggests before thinking for a moment "Actually It says were thieves and the only think we have taken so far is a Necklace so maybe if Daurrous offered ta give it back?"
Ardanto Valanto
OK I made some rolls for Ardanto.
I was not planning on attacking and only talking, or babbling random elven words at it in the dark, but I missed any way, so no harm done.
Ardanto blinks trying to clear his vision as some light floods into his small walled off area, the group are just in time to hear him shout the elven word for "Bread!"
Are we going to press the attack?
He shrugs at those he can see and waves his swords around menacingly.
Daurros Erdai
"My friends, I'm thinking discretion may be the better part of valor here. Ardanto, can you get by him? I'm not certain we can defeat a spellcaster of this magnitude!"
Daurros invokes the power of his bonded object to cast scorching ray again.
attack 1d20 ⇒ 6
damage 4d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 2, 4) = 13
EDIT: crap
Keeper of Forbidden Lore
Ok guys this is gonna get real tricky with spacing,
Daurros steps back and lets loose his cone of fire that licks across the dead elf. Guard starts to move toward the end of the wall as Karkalla opens fire her bolts seeming to have little effect on the elf. Ardanto keeps spouting random elf words as Finn moves to stab around the corner of the Wall elf gets cover he is able to hit the elf but barely. Toxim moves back a bit but fails to hit the elf as Thoves arrows also seem to miss the elf.
The elf seems to concentrate and leaving himself open to Finn and ardanto, Finns thrust misses but Ardanto gets a hit in. But the elf's spell still goes off and a moment later a cylinder of fire engulfs the group
Ya get a reflex save for half here guys. Ardanot I didn't know if ya was attacking so Ya may make one for this round if ya want

Seeing the Undead Giant Elf engulf the group in flames, he resumes his attacks.
Longsword +9 (1d8+9 19-20) 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 201d8 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16

Add an action point for another attack.
Longsword +9 (1d8+9 19-20) 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 161d8 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17
My attack rolls are particularly sucky at the moment.
Daurros Erdai
reflex 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Daurros removes his scroll of dispel magic and targets it on the elf, trying to dispel any enchantments it may have on itself (especially it's enlarged condition).
caster level 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
I believe I can do this: add action point ot the caster level check
1d6 ⇒ 5

Reflex: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14, with evasion
add an action point: 1d6 ⇒ 4

1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 272d6 + 5 ⇒ (4, 4) + 5 = 13
Ardanto Valanto
Guys, we have to run away or die, I think.
I was thinking the same my self, although, my sucky rolls are not helping. I am trapped behind him with out a hope of tumbling through his space, I can only hope that Daurros shrinks him, so that I can take one attack of opportunity as I pass him by. If push comes to shove, you all need to save your selves, pointless more of us dying than need to.
Toxim ir' Kinain
Agreed. This guy gets shrunk, we leave. Fast.
Reflex save 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20
Toxim decides to try a silver arrow this time to see if it has any additional effect
Shortbow 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19 Damage 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 PBShot included; silver arrow
Action point for an additional attack
Shortbow 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22 Damage 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 PBShot included; silver arrow
Daurros Erdai
Yep, that's what I was thinking before, and why I asked if Ardanto could get by. My big concern: he's at least an 11th level caster (based on wall of iron being a minimum 6th level spell), so cross your fingers that my level check of 25 is good enough. At least I actually got a good roll when I needed it; just have to find out if it's good enough.
And I'm not sure the saving ourselves thing will work, as I don't believe Daurros would leave Ardanto. Even if he saw him die (for certain), I don't think he could bear the possibility of him being animated as undead.
Keeper of Forbidden Lore
The fire sweeps though the space a few people manage to avoid the brunt of it. Daurros shrugs off the pain, pulls out his scroll and targets the magic running though the elf. The dead elves enchantment brakes and it returns to normal size. Karkalla takes the opening and tumbles past the elf to join Ardanto, who presses the attack on the elf getting in two solid blows as Finn thrusts at the elf, also getting a good hit in. Toxim again fires off two shots but again seeming to barely effect the elf.
Thoves calls upon the power of the silver flame healing some of the fire damage to most of the group as Guard moves as close as he can, Snem blasts at the elf, having little effect. The elf brings his mace down on Ardanto with a roar 10hp
Ok Thoven,Daurros, snem and Karkalla took 17 HP, Guard Finn, and Toxim took 35

flanking Attack: 1d20 + 11 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 11 + 2 = 17, damage 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Snem, slowly healing his incinerations Fast healing 2, hovers over Guards shoulder, providing a bit of illumination in the enclosed space behind the ironwall. It takes aim on the elf as well, letting loose a soul blast:
Soul Blast: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15, damage 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Action point for another Guard flanking attack: 1d20 + 11 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 11 + 2 = 32, damage 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Ardanto Valanto
Ardanto yells the only elven swear word he knows at the elves dessicated face, "Ud`Raan!" he grins foolishly at the elf, "yeah, you now I am talking to you fat head!".
Ardanto presses the attack once more, but his confidence is failing, the elf looks relatively fresh, or as fresh as a thousand year old corpse can, where as Ardanto is covered in numerous bruises, cuts and the pain in his chest tells him at least one rib was broken in the last blow. With a hint of desperation he attacks the elf, trying to exploit a weakness in his defence.
I must be flanking with Guard now? If so, please add +2 to these attacks.
Longsword +9 (1d8+9 19-20) 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 211d8 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17
Longsword +9 (1d8+9 19-20) 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 111d8 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12
Spending yet another action point for an extra attack.
Longsword +9 (1d8+9 19-20) 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 191d8 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12
After his exchange of blows he steps back away from the elf, hoping to draw it to where he has space to pass or room for the others to surround it. 5 foot step next to Karkella.
He grimaces at the shifter, panting from the exertion.

Daurros sighs exasperatedly. "Well, if we won't retreat to fight another day ..."
fire off another charge from my wand of magic missiles
1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
question, as I can't recall: does ray of enfeeblement, as a strength penalty, affect undead? I know they're usually immune to ability damage and drain, but not sure about a penalty.
Karkalla
Have evasion so I'm hoping that means no damage?s
Holding back till Ardanto moves away Karkalla steps into the space he once occupied and brings the crossbow blade down upon the undead
Attack (hopefully flanking with Guard)
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
Damage
1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Sneak attack
3d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 6) = 15
Keeper of Forbidden Lore
I totally forgot about your evasion Karkalla
Daurros uses his wand to slam a missile into the elf once more as Ardanto slices twice into the Elf stepping back as Karkalla steps forward stabbing the elf with her blade. Finn stabs at the Elf but blocked by the wall he misses one attack
Toxim heals some of Finns hurts as Thoven fires at the elf, but hits only the iron wall as Guard slams his hammer into the elf, snem blasts the unliving elf.
The elf looks barely together, wrappings and dessicated skin hanging from it. The mace drops from it's dead hands and it slumps to the floor."Pegue o que você quer saqueadores, mas deixe-me ao meu contemplações. Eu não tenho nenhuma luta deixada. Sozinho com os mortos e os esquecidos do passado. Deixe-me ser ........ It says softly in it's hollow voice , head low as if in despair

Karkalla lowers her weapon
Elvish
Karkalla turns to the rest of the group
"Okay the elf is surrendering but he thinks we are looters which ta be honest I think has been a big misunderstanding I mean Urol told us these ruins are deserted when they clearly aren't so I suggest we return what we took, find a way ta unstone Urol and then ram my foot up his rear end for getting us all in this mess in the first place."
Guard
Hearing Karkalla's words and seeing the undead elf no longer attack, Guard lowers his weapon, but keeps his shield up for now.
Keeping an eye on the opponent, he waits for the others to decide what to do. He's inclined to do as Karkalla suggests, but fighting looks still like an option.
